“Feedback and Concern Regarding Recent Stay and Concern Regarding Recent Stay" Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to express my concerns regarding my recent stay at your hotel, which unfortunately did not meet my expectations. I stayed at the hotel with my mother and my niece, who is 4 years old, with the intention of enjoying the water park during our visit. We checked in after 9:00 PM on the first day. The room was booked for two adults and one child (aged 4). My niece lives on Koh Chang and her home is not far from the hotel. As I was unsure how many nights she would stay with us, I requested to pay for the child on a night-by-night basis. I was willing to pay for one night first and then extend the payment if she stayed longer. However, the hotel informed me that this was not possible and required full payment in advance at a rate of 500 THB per night for three nights, totaling 1,500 THB. In the end, my niece did not stay more than 1 night which is why I requested the option to pay per night for a child aged 4. In addition, I would like to raise the following concerns: The hotel does not have a lift. We were required to walk up to the 3rd floor with our luggage, which was very inconvenient, especially for a small child and an elderly guest. On the first night, there were ants in the room, including on the bed, under the bed, on the floor, and coming out from behind the refrigerator. Unfortunately, we did not notice this immediately as we trusted the room’s cleanliness and only discovered the issue after showering and going to bed, when we were bitten by ants. This situation should not occur, particularly in a guest room. We felt uncomfortable and unsafe sleeping there, especially with a young child, as we were concerned about ants entering the ears during sleep. I reported the issue to the hotel, and the staff kindly changed our room. However, the new room was not the same room type as the one we had originally booked. We understood the situation and agreed to wait to change rooms the following day. As this was our first time staying at your hotel, I regret to say that the overall experience was disappointing. The overall experience was alright, but the facilities need some care. The water park is old and some of the slides are breaking down, they don’t look safe. The hotel is divided in two areas, one across the road and one by the beach. If you are staying across the road you can’t use the pool from the beach side, which is a bummer and a big downside. Would check other places first.

Great hotel. Kids loved the 3 pools and the water park. Excellent rooms with plenty of space. Excellent food and brilliant service. The staff helped the kids during meal times. Everything can be done by the hotel but there are local amenities just a minutes walk away including laundry and Marco’s fantastic Italian. The hotel is split into 2 parts opposite each other - water park is where most families like us stayed, the beach side is also great. I didn’t realise the beach was so beautiful- definitely worth a visit. The beach here was much nicer than down the coast: soft yellow sand and gently getting deeper- good for kids. High recommend.

Hotel is good.. service is great.. food is delicious.. price is reasonable... beach is beautiful... great place to relax with reasonable price in Koh Chang

Me and my gf are backpacking and ended up here for 3 nights as it was within our accommodation budget, only negative is that there isn’t many restaurants nearby as it’s mainly resorts in walking distance. Amazing stay though, great facilities, wish we had longer
