Excellent spot for an unpretentious beach getaway. My friends and I spent 2 days here. We really liked the hotel's location – it's nestled in a quiet cove on Lonely Beach, with only 4 hotels in the vicinity, making it quite secluded and peaceful. The atmosphere is truly perfect for a relaxed tropical vacation. Pros: The hotel is perfectly situated right on the beach. The breakfasts are a definite highlight: extensive and varied, with an omelet station (cooked fresh for you) and excellent coffee, which isn't always the case in Thai hotels. We were also pleased with the room rate – quite affordable, even cheap, for this beach, plus there was a free cancellation option. The hotel has a clean pool, beach towels are available, and there's a lovely bar right on the shore. We took many photos of the grounds, breakfasts, and the bar – very atmospheric! Things to note: Yes, the rooms are indeed old and quite worn; a renovation wouldn't hurt. However, for us, this wasn't a deal-breaker: on a beach vacation, we spend minimal time in the room – just for sleeping. The main thing was that the air conditioning worked, there was water, and the mattress was comfortable. If you're similar, this is a great option for you. As for the location outside the hotel: it's quite a long walk to the night market and the local village with shops. If you don't have a scooter, you'll have to trek a fair bit. It's about a 7-minute ride on a scooter, so transport will come in handy here. Conclusion: This hotel is ideal for those looking for an inexpensive and cozy option right on Lonely Beach with delicious breakfasts, who are willing to overlook tired but perfectly functional rooms for sleeping. My rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Help, run away from this place! A real disgrace, 200 euros for *this*!!!! We wanted to treat ourselves for our 60th birthdays, but it was a complete failure. The welcome was unpleasant. We had booked a suite with a private pool and jacuzzi for a weekend, but it was dirty, dilapidated, the pool was dangerous, and there was a strong smell of mold. It was an open-air dump. I requested a refund from the hotel, which gave me a justification (because we couldn't stay, it was so awful), and I provided that to Trip. No results from either side. Trip is also responsible for offering this type of hotel, given the 'exciting' comments. Very, very disappointed.

Not a bad hotel, but the rooms could use a renovation. On the bright side, it has the best beach on the island!

Excellent hotel, clean and beautiful. We booked a room right by the beach. The beach entrance was sandy, and both the beach and water were clean, surrounded by lovely palm trees. Monkeys run around in the mornings, so I recommend always keeping your doors closed; they tried to swipe tissues from our room! The veranda was very comfortable, perfect for relaxing during the day. The restaurant was good, and so were the breakfasts. There are nice cafes and shops within a short walk. For its price, it's a very good hotel.

We've stayed at this hotel many times before, but this time, for a special occasion, we decided to splurge on a luxury experience and booked a private villa with its own pool. That turned out to be a huge mistake. While we've always liked it in the past, there was so much we didn't like this time. All the furniture is old, and I mean *old*. There's a bathtub with a jacuzzi, but no hot water. There's a pool, but it's dirty and nobody cleans it properly; the bottom is absolutely disgusting. The pool area sometimes wasn't cleaned at all, and other times it was cleaned very poorly. On our last day, some filter in the pool turned on, which kept us awake almost all night. Not to mention the non-working lights and mood lighting around the pool area and in the hotel itself. There used to be a proper air conditioning system, but that's also broken; now there's just a weak, regular AC unit. The villa roof is broken and caved in in some places. You can get much better rooms at this hotel for less money, so think twice before choosing what's supposed to be the 'best' accommodation. The beach, as always, is excellent, with its own music and a DJ. Breakfast gets a solid four out of five.
