We loved this hotel and after travelling around and speaking to others I definitely think this is one of the best resorts on the island.
Pros:
+ The staff! They are so lovely and made our stay more enjoyable.
+ The rooms are great with a small balcony.
+ The pool area! We loved dipping in and out of the pool, and the Jacuzzi!
+ Food was nice
+ you can hire bikes (mopeds) from the hotel
+ price
+ The grounds are beautiful
+ The hotel will help with Taxis etc
Cons:
- The nearest 7-11 etc is over 20 mins walk
- There were lots of ants round the pool area … we found out there was an infestation this year (not just on this island). It would be great if staff could go around spraying the area. I am not sure if they did.
We are regularly at a small independently owned place called Sapporat’s, owned by Deano and his wife ***. You do have to wait a while for your food (because *** is the only one cooking) but it’s so worth it! Great home cooked food and a lovely atmosphere looking over the river. It’s only a 5 minute walk away from the hotel.
We were also recommend a cooking class by Deano and his wife … with Bonnie. It was amazing. We started at 9:30am and didn’t finish until 2pm. You eat at the class and can even take your curry back with you. You also can choose from a selection of dishes, you don’t have to make the same as everyone else!

The hotel is located near Khlong Prao beach and there is also a private beach (have shuttle to there), not much restaurants nearby and no shuttle to outside. Some noise from outside during midnight. Staffs are nice.

Nice hotel, the location is a bit awkward for some parts of the island but they will arrange taxis and have a shuttle to the beach.

If you want to live in side beach, its not good choice. But the hotel has private beach and you can go to play.
The hotel has swimming pool.
The breakfast is not delicious

Great hotel! Staff were so friendly and went above and beyond if you ever had any questions.
Most affordable hotel we could find with perfect facilities. Breakfast was good, but don’t expect an extensive selection - still found it yum!
Hotel has a shuttle bus that takes you to the beach (Klong Prao beach) twice a day - see pic for shuttle timings.
Hotel can arrange scooter rental and day trip excursions. We found renting a scooter the best way to get around to other beaches/areas and restaurants., although main ***** of restaurants was only about a 10min walk.
We ended up staying an additional night because we enjoyed it so much.
