Chivapuri Beach Resort

Absolutely awful. Layout of family suite means no privacy between bedrooms. No water supply on arrival (only admitted when we complained!), safety box broken, bathroom wash basin blocked. Restaurant service very slow and food not worth waiting for. Breakfast looks good but is badly managed meaning constant asking for supplies to be replenished. Air-con requires 2 keys in power slots to operate whole suite, plus if you take the wrong key away the fridge is without power. Cleaning regime variable day to day. Final straw stepping on a huge cockroach on the way to the bathroom in the middle of the night. This place sets itself up as high end accommodation, but it is an overpriced pretentious disaster. Do not visit.

We spent 11 days at Chivapuri over the Xmas & New Year period & had a fantastic time.The resort is very tranquil.Location is excellent.Nice beach with a few beach bars offering excellent, cheap food & drinks.Good prices at the resort bar tooo.There are paddle boards, canoes & scooters for hire. Good massages on the beach. My son explored the island on a scooter while we relaxed by the pool.Rooms were clean but very tired looking.Staff we’re friendly. I would definitely recommend a stay here for a chilled holiday.

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. The room was absolutely stunning with the comfiest bed we stayed in on our whole trip around Thailand. The communal areas were well kept with a lovely beach and the perfect pool. The breakfast was great. Lovely restaurants nearby within walking distance and some bars. We will definitely return when in the area.

I recently spent almost 6 glorious weeks at this very comfortable and well appointed resort. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, the service was efficient, the atmosphere peaceful and the room was clean, luxuriously fitted and well maintained. Wonderful view from the sparkling pool and long walks on the expansive beach made for a relaxing, out of season, holiday.

The place is very nice. The room and services are great. The beach is clean. We have had a nice time at the restaurant, with great cocktail and very good food. We have lived 3 days barefoot, going from the room to the beach to the bar and restaurant. We have had a really great time.
