Highly Recommend Koh Jum Delight Resort! Had an extremely pleasant stay here for 3 nights. Located on the southwest of the island. Great service. Friendly staff. Standard Breakfast. Nice, comfortable clean rooms. Close access to one of the better beaches on the island. Can rent a bike and go explore the island. Highly recommend!!

I stayed here with my mum, initially two nights but loved it so much that we booked a third. The place is absolutely stunning and after seeing the rest of the island, I'm convinced this is the nicest (and pretty much deserted) beach. So location wise, this place is a 10/10. The staff was absolutely amazing and the absolute highlight of our time here. Our room was spotless, the bed was super comfy and the cabin was just adorable. Food was also very good and very reasonably priced. I can't wait to come back.
Best sunset on the island and a short walk down the beach takes you to the best spot for sunrise.
There's a shop about 15 min walk away and a cure cafe just five min from the resort.
We were looking for a non touristy place, quiet, to rest and sleep well. If you want to disconnect and enjoy some quiet time this is the place for you.

The hotel is located next to the pier, and a shuttle is available. The bungalows are conveniently located; guests can't see each other but can admire the garden's beauty. We had a superior room with a pool view. It was lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The breakfasts were hearty, including fruit. There's a wonderful cafe on the corner of the main street with delicious coffee, desserts, and a large variety of dishes. We rented a bike and toured the entire island. Our beach is the best. I'll never forget those deserted walks along the sea; it was so relaxing.
If you need to recharge, this is the place for you!

The hotel rooms were basic but relatively clean. Breakfast selection was limited, but the staff were kind and friendly. Jum Island is quiet and uncrowded, and it was very comfortable to lie on the hotel's own beach. The sunsets on the island were beautiful.

Super location and reasonably comfortable accommodation. The manager Mr Big is very helpful. There’s a lot of room for improvement on the restaurant side of the accommodation. Breakfast is buffet style with made to order eggs but there’s a huge problem with staffing especially for the breakfast service so they’re trying to keep the buffet bar filled as well cooking made to order and there’s very little synchronisation between the two. When a guest commented about no food in the buffet bar he was told by a member of staff that there’s only “two of them managing the service and I’ve only got one pair of hands”. A couple who’d been waiting for their omelette for half an hour had to protest when their order was being served to another family who’d just sat down. Overall the quality of food generally is very disappointing. We’ve watched the manager stretched to the limit at various times too including helping out with the breakfast service. Problems with billing because of lack of systems in place which are cohesive, effective and efficient. Please please get these issues sorted as you’re such a beautiful place to visit and we’d love to come back again. There’s so much potential for this place but it needs to address

In a warm climate, five key factors make the difference in a hotel stay, and Delight Resort excels in all of them: 1️⃣ The Bed – Very comfortable, a rare find in Thailand where many hotels in this price range have overly firm mattresses. We slept like a dream! 2️⃣ The Air Conditioning – Modern and silent units 3️⃣ The Shower – sufficient water pressure and warm water, something that’s surprisingly hard to find in this price range. 4️⃣ Breakfast – While it’s good, a little more variety would be a great improvement, especially for guests staying multiple days. 5️⃣ WiFi – reliable and good coverage throughout the resort. Beyond these essentials, the beachfront location is fantastic. Most bungalows have at least partial sea views, the gardens are well-maintained, and there’s a modern swimming pool. The beach is wide, kept clean, and perfect for swimming at both high and low tide. A standout feature? Plenty of comfortable sun loungers— the even have extra foldable ones in case it gets busy! Is everything perfect? Almost—one small suggestion: the restaurant serves great food, but it could use a bit more atmosphere. It’s just 25m from the beach—why not set up tables on the sand in the evening for a more magical dining experience? That said, Delight Beach is a top-tier choice, offering fantastic comfort, excellent facilities, and unbeatable value for money. We will definitely be back!

We booked one night here online and ended up staying for 4 nights. We are a family of 5 so had 2 bungalows, comfy beds, great AC clean bathrooms. Food on site great lovely pool to relax by in the day or relax on the beach front. We hired a Tuk Tuk through reception to explore Koh JUm. Loved it here nice relaxed atmosphere away from the tourist trap

Let me start by saying that this place is amazing. Beautiful beach, nice bungalows and a beautiful sunset to see. So why I still rate this as a terrible experience for me? I have severely allergic reactions to shellfish, so bad that cross contamination is also deadly for me. A good friend of me who is Thai wrote that on my phone and everywhere I went in Thailand I’ve showed it and everywhere, for more then 2 weeks, everything went well. Till my first evening here. As usual I showed them the writing and they said they understood. But instinctively I knew they didn’t. When my vegetarian pad Thai came my friend again asked the waitress, are you sure this is safe for her to eat. Yes.. was the answer. Till my first bite. My throat immediately swollen up and I ended up in the ER. Next day I talked to the manager and tried to explain again how important it is to use clean gear and stuff. He said he would talk to the kitchen and let them know. I only have breakfast at the hotel so today, 3 days later, I have a scrambled egg (there is not much more for me to eat here) and when I finished I noticed that breathing gets heavier and throat gets swollen again. While I was puking at the toilet, they just stood there and watched. After using my epipen no one even comes to check if they can do anything. It’s a beautiful place, but just don’t go there if you have allergies that are so serious or when you don’t speak Thai.

A very beautiful place. The beach is perfect for children. There are never any waves, the sand is soft, and the entry into the water is gradual. Be sure to bring breakfast or rent a bike to the village, as the prices in the cafes (there are only four within walking distance) are frankly exorbitant. There are no shops or markets nearby. None at all. We stayed at this hotel twice. We flew into Krabi and stayed overnight at the hotel next to the Lotus, the closest to the airport. In the morning, we bought a whole backpack of fruit and headed to Laem Kruat pier. I took off one star for something that happened at the very end. We paid for a boat to Railay at reception, showed up with our luggage on the day of departure, and checked out of the room. We were waiting for the boat. Then the staff literally started hiding from us in the back rooms. The manager, having been caught, waved his hand toward a boat that had brought tourists from somewhere, as if to say we'd leave with it, but he refused to go with us. I made him quickly return the money and take us quickly to the pier. We got there as best we could. Manage your departure! Otherwise, everything was fine. The rooms are old, but we only sleep in them. Be prepared for "guests" in the form of geckos and various insects. The neighbors left the door open, and a monkey came in. Be careful!

Wonderful hotel! We had nothing but positive experiences from the very beginning. We traveled from Phuket Airport by taxi using the Grab app, then by boat from Laem Kruat Pear. A representative contacted us before arrival and arranged a transfer from the pier in the hotel car. The hotel's location is excellent. Firstly, it's a quiet island, free of crowds of vendors and hundreds of excursion boats. It's quiet and peaceful. It has its own sandy beach, which is kept clean. Even at low tide, you don't have to worry about rocks or coral. You can also find a spot for snorkeling. It may not be the Red Sea, but rocks with coral and fish are nearby. The hotel grounds are almost entirely shaded by large trees. The road to the Drift Wood restaurant is illuminated. You can take an evening stroll and dine there for a change. We stayed in a standard bungalow. It's not large, but quite comfortable. Why bother with a mansion on a paradise island? You spend most of your time outdoors. Air conditioning and a comfortable bed are essential. The hotel has several motorcycles for rent. I prefer a bicycle. I rented one in the village to explore the island. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. It's great that this is the norm in the "Land of a Thousand Smiles."

We arrived at 12pm and had to wait for the room, which wasn't a big deal. But the room wasn't ready until 5pm and the shower in one of the bungalows didn't work until 9pm. The staff are very polite and friendly, the complex is right on a beautiful, endless beach that seems almost deserted at certain times of the day. Right next door is a beach bar (cocktails are semi-good). If the sky is clear, you could see a beautiful sunset from the beach, but we didn't get to see it. Breakfast was included and there was a relatively large selection for every taste. There is a pool right at the back entrance that is well maintained. We would come again, if only because the island is still very untouched.
