I-Lay House Koh Kood

First visit here and it will be last time , i check in, surprised that my room is not sea view like application recommended The more surprise is staff only tell me, he has proved that it is not his hotel fault (i dont know how, and dont know process or advertise that hotel or app do it , im very upset) he noticed that it is app fault and if i dont appreciated (he can refund＞＞＞ that means you have no accommodation) What can i say....

Good view and the beast place for rest

Warm, friendly helpful staff comfortable rooms with all you need. This is not 5 star luxury, but is so much more, people doing their best, going that bit further. Ohhhhh and the beach stunning never saw more than 40 people on it... Comfortable cabins we had 17and 18 which looked bigger. It's not a Hilton or a Marriott or the like but is much more fun. Island life island pace ....

i think this is the best beach on koh kood. it is very beautiful and quite. there are not many ppl on the beach at all time. i-lay is the resort that has the rooms closest to the beach. the rooms are about 15 yards to the beach. the staffs are nice, friendly and helpful. there are kayaks and paddle boards that we can use free of charge. we enjoy the stay and will definitely come back.

ILay House was a perfect choice for our relaxing two week beach paradise relaxation vacation. First (her nickname) (a fellow Canadian) and her brother are amazing hosts who know how to take care of all guest needs and also take great care of their staff. The location is on the best beach on the island, the beach is pristine peaceful and picturesque. The accommodations are waterfront with amazing sunsets views. Rooms are clean well appointed with AC and hot showers, beds are clean but a little hard for us soft Canadians. The grounds are maintained every day and food is the best in the area. With a full American style breakfast we started the day off just right each day. Should we come back this way Koh Kood is a friendly safe destination and we would recommend you stay at ILay

Stay away from this bungalow complex, I travel a lot in Asia, but I've never experienced anything like it. And the nightmare also cost an outrageous 2500 baht per night, because unfortunately we booked at short notice while walking on the beach at the reception and not through Agoda or ***********, because then the flop would have cost at least half as much. The beach is a dream, but there are plenty of other dream beaches here on the island, The bungalow is unkempt and old, you could also only lock the door if you locked it with the key. Stupid if you want to leave the bungalow early and your partner is still asleep. Luckily we were able to find a solution that wasn't exactly the best with our own tension belt. The equipment is completely old, the mattress was totally broken with squeaking springs and was rock hard, the duvet was an unhygienic covered woolen blanket. It was just "ugh". In addition, there was the disgusting fish stench behind the house from the klong when the tide receded and so I always had to hold my breath in the wet room. There were hardly any loungers, so we just sat on our veranda or walked along the beach, Breakfast you can choose only one dish per day in the evening before. During the three nights we had no room service and towels were only changed on request.
