Jungle Koh Kood Resort

Beautiful surroundings BUT the place is pretty grim - dirty & neglected. Horrible bathroom, grimy room, pool green with algae. Holes in the floor of the hut, AC broken, Sun loungers broken. The atmosphere was sad & run down. Hugely overpriced for what it is. Definitely not recommended

We are travelers and we are used to something. We therefore give an assessment adapted to the country. This cottage is old and dirty. You can smell the rotten wood and the bathroom is horrible. On Koh Kood you get a comfortable bungalow for this price. We therefore give this resort a 0. The staff at the reception are great, they get a 10, because they have to endure all those complaints at the reception. We are happy to be out of there, and are now in a luxurious comfortable bungalow by the sea for less money.

The accommodation was absolutely substandard. The bathroom was not only shabby, which would be a euphemism but it was literally in such poor condition that it was nauseating. Apart from that, it appeared that it wasn't cleaned for ages. The bedroom had a mattress on the floor No other seating arrangements or possibilities. No table etc. The floor was dirty and full of stains. The whole room allowed insects or other animals to come in. The outside was disgusting with a pond with horrible smelling brown water, allowing myriads of Dengue mosquitos to do their job. The whole place in a stage of dilapidation. Absolutely sickening. No one can stay there unless totally intoxicated. My daughter checked in and checked out after one hour. Of course no refund. I am now convinced that all the poor critics about this resort are correct.

You are in the midle of the jungle for sure.. Surrounded by gekko, Frogs and other animals the jungle provides. Great concept with great Staff. The Manager at this place made this experience worth the stay. You can rent a scooter for the whole stay so you can travel around the Island. Its a must... Just do it 😉
