Really nice place, with good rooms/villas. Perfect pool area and extraordinary beach, with breathtaking clear water. Breakfast was really nice, as well. A large amount of longtail boats visits the Beach during the day, but before and after, the beach is calm and peaceful. Staff was ok, but not as friendly and welcoming as we experienced on other resorts. However, they supported with local boatconnection to and from the island. Unfortunately I was foodsick after one lunch and spend 12 hours in the toilet, before I was back on track again. Reception supported with some pills and powder, to ease the recovery.

Having travelled Thailand on multiple occasions this place was not great. Great beach, and room ok and pool nice. Having been contacted by them pre our stay to say they would change our room to a front room, they didn’t. Food was not nice. Very expensive too. Attention to detail non existent. Pool towels and pool beds left a mess, even at night, the pool towels are just left in a basket looking a mess. The music at the bar is on loop, so quite annoying after round 5! Beds very hard. No atmosphere! Won’t return.

This is a lovely hotel, really well managed and in a stunning location. As other reviews mention, it can be difficult to get to the hotel because of it's isolated location and the need to take a boat from the main beach on Koh Ngai where you get dropped off but this is usually pre-arranged by the boat company that you use to get to the island. It's only accessible at high tide and that's when they schedule you to arrive. The journey is well worth it because Paradise Beach itself is stunning. The hotel consists of a number of lovely Bungalows on stilts. These Bungalows are not huge but big enough to be comfortable, with a nicely decked patio overlooking the immaculate gardens and the mountain forest in the background. Beds are big and a little firm but comfortable. Bathrooms are nice and water pressure is good. A small hanging rail, tea and coffee making facilities and some storage options. Aircon works really well. The TV is nice but there is only one channel that has anything other than Thai channels. Using any kind of streaming device is not possible because there is no WiFi in the rooms and, due to the hotel being located on the other side of a big hill to the radio tower, there is no phone internet either. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean. WiFi is only available in the restaurant or beach bar. The restaurant is nice, food is good but a little more expensive than the mainland. Breakfast is pretty good but don't expect a full english! The resort pool is lovely and, again, spotlessly clean, as is the whole resort. Staff at the resort are really nice and do everything they can to make sure you have a lovely stay. Most of the time resort guests get the beautiful beach all to themselves and we found ourselves alone on the beach a few times. Snorkelling from the beach is not bad, lots of coral but not much colour, and a reasonable variety of fish. Between midday and 3pm the beach gets a little busier because of the tour boats bringing groups in. There is a jungle path from Paradise Beach to the main beach area which they tell you is a 20 minute walk with a small hill but it isn't. It is a difficult trail, single track, through pretty dense jungle and not maintained in any way. The hill is quite a climb. On one side this involves stepping over fallen branches and jungle debris that could be hiding any kind of jungle critters, on the other side is a short, treacherous climb/decent, and the whole journey is plagued with Mosquitos. We went from Paradise Beach to the main beach and were pretty exhausted when we eventually got there, not to mention absolutely covered in big bites! We ended up getting a longtail boat back rather than putting ourselves through the trek again. All in all, this is a great resort if you want a break away from the world or just to spend some relaxing time on a beautiful beach. I would have given this place a 5 star review if it wasn't for the lack of wifi, and therefore the lack of TV, in the rooms. Eveni

We booked 2 nights here as a luxury treat and we weren’t disappointed, rooms great, very friendly staff, everywhere was so clean lovely pool, although it got a little warm later in the day 🤣 breakfast was fantastic, delicious help yourself buffet and also American breakfast choice, eggs sausage. It’s very quiet and food a little more expensive than on the main beach. But we did find a small local bar/cafe 5 mins walk away than did delicious food and a fish BBQ on request

We have returned to the Paradise beach resort after four years and we were not disappointed. This time we stayed five nights. The quality of the resort was the same as we remembered although some signs of wearing off after pandemic were present. People were loveliest and welcoming. This time we stayed in the hut number 18, which was somewhere in the middle of the *****. The cleaning was perfect, on daily basis. Bed was very comfortable and AC works fine. There was a little fridge with a small freezer and ice tray. Kettle and complimentary coffee/tea was provided. We spent a lot of time sitting on the veranda in the morning or evening, observing the jungle and geckos. Surprisingly, the hornbills were not present in large flocks this time as we remembered. Don’t forget to bring a strong mosquito repellent. Breakfast was good as well, a selection of hot and cold food was present. Coffee could be better. We also had a dinner in the restaurant and we found it a bit bland. The sea was great, warm and clean. The whole resort was very chilling, perfect for reading a book, sunbathing or just relax. The pool was great too, although water was quite warm but it was great for late evening dip. We also hiked few times across the jungle to another beach which was nicer, with white and soft sand, but with more people. Just checked when there is not a low tide and be aware of possible jellyfish. The drinks were cheaper there than on Paradise beach as well. This was a little quiet gem, we stayed there twice and hopefully we come again. The quality of the accommodation was much better and cheaper than what we saw on the other side of the island.

This really is Paradise. The beach is stunningly beautiful, the hotel and rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We are keen snorkellers, and have been to lots of islands in Thailand, and the house reef here is incredible! So many types of fish and in huge shoals! The coral is also stunning. This is a hotel off the beaten track with all the luxuries. You can only get here by boat, and if it’s low tide you may have to walk across the island (30 mins). This is by far our favourite place.

A magnificent hotel on a majestic island, clean room, beautiful beach, fairly large and clean swimming pool. Attentive staff, the food is very good especially the Thai, the breakfast is very limited and repetitive, no thought for non-pork eaters and vegetarians, no fresh juice. At the restaurant when you order a fresh juice, the barman always adds industrial juice which is a real shame.
