Overall ok… it’s more like a hostel vibe here, everything is basic and the room comes with a ‘user’s manual’ telling you the ‘rules’ to follow around here…. But get a fairly secluded stretch of beach…

I booked this hotel with *********** and on the listing it said that the room offered AC, however when I got there not only did the manager inform me it did not have AC, he said he had never even heard of ***********. However, he was nice enough to very quickly upgrade us to a room with an AC for free, and the staff in general was very nice. My only complaint was the water pressure: I would have given this place a 5 star review but the shower had seriously the worst water pressure I’ve ever experienced.

Moderate satisfaction

We LOVED it here. Great location on the beach. Most of the bungalows aren't beach view but still less than 30 second walk to be on a beautiful quiet beach. We got one of the bungalows just behind the beachfront ones so were lucky enough to have a beautiful partial sea view. Room was great had lots of amenities (much better equipped than many we've stayed in!): - Bed side tables - Large mosquito net - Desk and chair - Place to hang clothes - Wall lamps - Comfortable bed and pillows Pool was great to do lengths in HOWEVER around 9.30am every morning they would start to burn a big pile of plastic and other things right next to it which made it impossible to swim without being surrounded by a cloud of toxic smoke. The hammocks and chairs on the terrace were great and the location is within (very close) walking distance to 7-eleven and lots of restaurants and cafes. We'd DEFINITELY stay again - one of our favourite places in Thailand!

My wife and I Stayed here for the last 3 nights of our 2 month stay in Thailand and could not have wished for a better spot. Bungalows are basic but kept very clean and ours stepped out onto the beautiful beach . Perfect sunsets without having to travel was a lovely bonus. Great bars in easy walking distance on the beach added to our experience. Staff were all extremely friendly polite and helpful. A lovely place to stay.

Second experience at Seetanu. Everything was great once again. The team is always welcoming, the setting is by the sea, and the location is great. The only downside this time... The homes are aging, and the charm is starting to fade.

We rented a bungalow through ***********, for 4, right on the water. The location was great, that's for sure. The beach was pretty and the sunset was amazing. However, 500 euros for 3 nights without breakfast is really, really too expensive for the service and for Thailand. The bungalow is aging, the towels are gray and stained, and there are lots of mosquitoes in the evening. A mid-length curtain divides the room in two. It's impossible to eat outside on the small terrace, unless you slather yourself with repellent.

Very bad experiences, abandoned establishment, very dirty rooms, black mattresses with bedbugs and the staff not friendly at all, too bad the beach is magnificent. We will never return to this establishment

Beautiful resort with your feet in the water on a quiet beach. Ideal place to be away from the crowds and totally disconnect. Very good western restaurant. Magnificent sunsets in front of the bungalow every evening. A stone's throw from a laundry, 7/11 and the beautiful beaches of the island.

We stayed for a week with 4 adults in February in the family bungalow. Second line on the beach. The view is very beautiful, the terrace is very pleasant, the hotel beach is really pretty and not very busy. The room is average in terms of bedding, sockets and dilapidation. No noise. Cleaning done every 2 days. The breakfasts are good. You have a fruit juice (which of course are not pressed fruit), a hot drink, fresh fruit and either pancakes, or eggs (already with 2 toasts and butter) or toast, or muesli and yogurt, in short, largely satisfactory, all with the kindness and smile of the staff. We left our laundry to be washed (nickel at 40 baths per kilo) there is a seven eleven and scooter rental just 50 meters from the hotel. In short, for the value for money we were generally satisfied with this hotel.

(Same condition as there was 5 years) Lacks a little renovation, a kettle with tea and coffee, a fridge, efficient wifi, and mattresses on the sun beds, even if it means increasing the price

This establishment is fortunate to be located on the edge of a beach with some bungalows opening directly onto the beach; unfortunately we were not in one of them!!! We were staying in a bungalow at the back, dilapidated, dark, a shower that wasn't working when we arrived, the water flow was bad, we were wading in the water as soon as we took a shower!!! As for breakfast, what a shame!!! We had to choose between Toast or croissant, 1 spoonful of jam or honey or cottage cheese in a mini bowl! Only 1 coffee 1 fruit juice!!!!! During our entire month-long stay in Thailand, this was the only time we were very disappointed!! We felt that this establishment wants to make a profit and at no time cares about the well-being of its customers!! we do not recommend it!!!

Great location on a beautiful beach. The surroundings where you can find everything you need without needing a scooter or anything else, shops, restaurants, massages, laundry, The bungalows are not brand new but rather well maintained and right on the beach, it's magnificent . Second time we have come here as a family. Breakfast very good. Cons: The welcome: after 24 hours of travel we arrive at seetanu, reception not friendly at all, not a drink offered! In a week not one hello from the owners (we speak French).
