I had quite high expectations of the resort based on the photos so I was a little worried I'd be disappointed, but Panviman managed to exceed them. We felt special from the moment we arrived, and as we were guided towards the reception were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful tropical gardens. It got even better when we were shown the pool villa where we'd be spending the next three nights. It didn't just have one private pool, it had two beautifully decorated pools with view over the nearby beach and tropical rainforest. The room was decorated in traditional style and came with a large bathroom with a bath looking into the villa's small tropical garden. The next morning we woke up early due to our jetlag and jumped into the pool to see the sunrise. A magical experience. We then made our way to the breakfast buffet and two months later I'm still raving about it. Eggs made to order - we were very impressed with the omelets. Great coffee, fresh fruits, and a variety of choices in cold and hot food. The restaurant had a 180 degree view over two beaches and the ocean; absolutely stunning. For the second half of our stay we booked a de luxe hotel room as we were planning to do some tours and thought we'd use the resort's shared pool(s) - which is beautiful. However, when we came into the reception to change rooms we were given the keys to another pool villa! We spent 6 very relaxing days at the resort and really appreciated the friendly service, great breakfast, cocktail happy hours, and the stunning pool villas. We did find it a bit hard to request things that weren't standard due to language barriers, and we were not impressed with the massages we received at the hotel spa - our requests weren't listened to and it was an underwhelming experience overall. But we really appreciated the upgrade and overall had a fantastic experience at Panviman Resort - I'd be back in a heartbeat (and a few flights)!

Beautiful establishment with a style of decoration based on woodwork. Very nice view of the sea from the restaurant. Beautiful landscaped swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful staff and staff. Breakfast very correct in time of covid even if the buffet was to have known it before covid was much higher. The villa with private pool and sea view is very pleasant and with a very neat decoration. We loved the huge bathroom and very design in a Balinese style. Outdoor bathtub / jacuzzi. Private swimming pool with a more than adequate surface. To recommend without worry especially since covid period cause the promotional rate is very interesting

There are not many varieties of breakfast, but the quality is good. Hotel service is very good. Suitable for people who like quiet people, Koh Phangan is really quiet, and there are very few people in China. Anantara always pays attention to eating, must go to the restaurant on the second floor of the hall, their home ingredients are really very good, and the price is reasonable. It is worth living. Alternatively, the hotel has free kayaking to play. Oh, yes, it may be that the ecological environment in Koh Phangan is so good that there are often lizards.

The house gave me a very good impression. It felt cool when I entered the first day. The space on the first floor was open, and the glass in front of it was glass, revealing the clear pool and the sea in the distance. My family and I have a pleasant experience here. The location of the house is not too good, there is no shop nearby, but we rented a motorcycle when we went out. It is convenient to have a car. So this is not enough. We also book breakfast on the morning of the last day. A few aunts came over and made a table in half an hour. We will choose the next time there is a chance.

Beautiful resort, modern style and scenic. Great view of the mountains and the island. Rooftop pool is stunning. Stayed here during covid epidemic tho, and no tourists around, so everything is quite dead. Restaurant doesn’t even have food and such, so you should plan to get around by yourself. Hotel staff very friendly and helped me rent a motorcycle and that helped with mobility a lot. Be careful tho: driving here is madness :)

I loved so much this hotel, the staff and the whole experience. Is something so special on the magic island of Phangan. Everything about the hotel is so different and beautiful: the design, the setting on the beach, the amazing restaurant and the decoration, the beautiful room and the polite staff. The standard room is on the other side of the hotel lobby. It feels like a newly-built second-phase project. There will be a great odor when the doors and windows are closed in the room. After reacting with the hotel, a camphor pill is provided, which is slightly better, but there are still some concerns about environmental protection. Behind the room is the hotel's own generator. The hotel often has power outages. After the power outage, the generator is started and the sound is roaring and cannot sleep. And on the fourth day, the locked door broke the trapped room. Later, the hotel changed a room. The next day, the door of the room of a friend who accompanied me also broke ... There is also a swimming pool in this second phase, but the water cannot be seen I don't know if it is the color of the bottom of the pool or the water is not clean, and I dare not enter the water. There is no scenery here, and we have to go to the first phase of dinner.

We booked through a travel agent when planning our multi centre trip and chose this hotel just completely going off the pictures quite impartially... big mistake. This hotel may I add was the most expensive out of all of the hotels we are staying in in Thailand over the 3 week trip working out about £520 for 4 nights (in Thailand that’s a lot isn’t it?!). By far the worst place I have ever stayed ! I had a little look at the reviews before arriving and as they are a little mixed and hoped as I am not a fussy person neither is my partner we may not disappointed... I think for me the huge issue is just honestly the vibe around the place as soon as you enter it hits you! It just feels so tired and grey (yes grey even in the gorgeous sun!!) , I think just making an assumption it was probably built 10/15 maybe more years ago (most likely when they took those pictures which you see advertised !) and it would of been paradise possibly one of the nicest hotels on the island but they just haven’t done anything at all to it ! They’ve just left it to fade and rot away basically which is really sad because looking round it really does have so much potential! Everything just looks dirty and faded nothing looks clean or looked after. To sum it up when we arrived there was a pizza box just outside our room ! It’s just like no one really cares very much when we first arrived at the boat we saw a man holding a sign for our hotel and we thought ‘wow great a hotel transfer pick up service!’ We were genuinely impressed until we got to the hotel we were then charged for this service 300baht which is actually more than a local taxi because the transfer is shared! We then waited in the reception bit for 20 minutes to check in whilst I think it was the manager argued with another couple about booking a room almost haggling the price in front of us ! When we did check in there was a 1000baht deposit for the room key that turns out didn’t lock the door anyway. So already on check in we had to cough up 1300baht! This obviously wasn’t advised so we actually didn’t have baht and needed to exchange sterling notes which we thought we could do in the town but it’s about a 25 minutes car journey (again not advised!) so we had no choice to exchange money there an then with the manager he gave an absolutely shocking rate of 35baht to the pound which again made the experience even worse all the while the manager looked so very smug as we had no other option ! The room was just so dated and dingy and just didn’t feel clean at all I know it’s thailand but it was just like mosquito paradise and we’re savaged by them ! I wouldn’t go as far to say the staff our rude because they weren’t they just didn’t really care and weren’t very helpful! We just felt like it was all a big scam a money making scheme for them as they knew there hotel is out the way so they can charge what they like and they were offering a 400baht pp taxi service to the full moon party but along the beach we got a

This hotel is in fantastic location. 7/11 next door, Indian restaurants nearby and good food and booze at hotel as well. It is a bit aged property but serves the purpose well as it son the best part of the beach. Staff were always smiling and helpful and took good care of us. It was the owner that came running to help us with the luggage(citing that we were with infants) and later staff picked it up from him. That shows the owner's dedication to lead with an example :). We loved our stay here and will highly recommend this place. Breakfast was OK but limited vegetarian options (something we faced across koh phagnan). Avoid 1st floor rooms if you are traveling with kids as balcony won't be safe for them.

We have stayed at Bayshore for 4 nights. This was meant to be only 2 however due to our experience at we stayed 2 days longer. The views from the pool over to the beach are absolutely stunning. The pool is clean and a very good size with plenty of sun-beds around it. The room was large with plenty of storage and immaculately clean. What made our holiday was “Sand & Tan” The most fantastic poolside restaurant ever, so many options, all fresh & just amazing. There was so much to choose from… pulled beef tortilla, soft crab pasta, club sandwich, burgers, Thai dishes, chilli cheese dip. Amazing breakfast in the morning, amazing drinks menu with so much choice. Tony and his team at Sand & Tan are second to none. Some of the most friendly, polite, helpful people I have come across during the past 3 weeks travelling Thailand. Nothing is too much for the staff & they really have made our holiday. We don’t want to leave! We cannot wait to continue to come back here for years to come as I know this is by far my favourite place ever. Every single person who has worked at Sand & Tan from the 16th-20th has been fantastic and I would love for them to know this and have this passed on. 💙 Special thanks to Tony, Game ,Ayethu & Mimi George & Katie London

The room is OK, it is the room where I live. The smell of the toilet is tight. The beach outside looks like it is not good. No one can get out of it. I haven’t rented a motorcycle to ride out the dock. There is a lot of roads in the past, and the beach is soaking for an afternoon. The overall view is good. There is not a lot of road to go out to buy things here. Every Saturday, there is a night market in the town to go shopping. Less local things

I booked a bungalow~ actually slid around in Koh Phangan and found that there were quite a lot of this kind of conjoined cottage. The basic facilities of the room are still OK. There may be occasional flying insects and gecko in Southeast Asia, but it is not a big problem. Behind the resort is the beach. Listen to the sea sooner or later, look at the scenery and enjoy it. There is a swimming pool in the resort. Every morning, some people clean up and change the water. The owner of the resort will also swim in it, and the hygiene can be assured. The resort offers a variety of dining options and tastes good. Overall, the price can be ~~

Going to Bottle beach was spontanuous decision made in a bus from BKK to Koh Phangan. We wanted to find quiet place without full moon crowd. I was do worried about the dirt road to bottle beach, but my boyfriend was so brave haha that he said we’ll at least try to go by rented scooter. That Wasn’t easy and perfectly safe but possible, even with biiig backpacks. And that was a perfect thing- quiet, beautiful beach and jungle with monkeys, great sea, friendly people and so peacefull place...and we could take our scooter and visit all the rest of the island almost every day. It was just perfect. But if we were to use Just expesive 4x4 taxis or water taxis or sit there without moving I guess it would not be that great experience. We didn’t have reservations so we’ve tried 2 different resorts, and 3 different types of bungalows. All of them were great in their own way. Not very high standard but clean. Food in every restaurant was good, and this massages by the sea...awww, I want to go back!

Hotel itself is on a beautiful beach and the resort and rooms are very nice. However, the management and service was the worst I experienced on a 4 month trip to Thailand. Example #1: We negotiated a private van with the manager of the hotel for a fixed price. Then, the morning of the trip, we asked whether it would be an issue if two additional people joined us. The management did not respond. We then asked other questions, to which the management did respond. Then, when we went to get on the van later that day, the manager said the price would be approximately 30% more, and that we had to ”take it or leave it.” We obviously should have been notified of the significant increase in price earlier, as we could have arranged for alternate transportation. Ultimately, the management agreed to a price between what was originally quoted and the high price, but it took another 15-20 minutes of significant haggling and complaining, none of which should have happened. Example #2: Our friend staying at the hotel at the same time as us had negotiated a weekly rate. When she asked for a room cleaning, the management then said it would be another 200 THB per cleaning. Our friend agreed to that, and the staff came by and only swept the floor. She asked for the bed sheets to also be changed, and the management said it would be another 50 THB! Seriously, don't do business with these people! Also, note that check out is at 11 AM, not 12 PM. We asked for a late checkout after getting last-minute notice of this and were initially denied, but again after a lot of haggling were able to squeeze this out of them, even though the hotel was largely empty during covid and there was virtually no chance that our rooms were booked. After these incidents, we purposefully did not eat breakfast at the hotel the morning of our check out because none of us wanted to give another dollar to the owner of this hotel.

Everything is almost good, the accommodation is quiet, but the view in front of the door to the room is not very good, the door looks old, probably because of rain and sun. The hotel has seen better days. It’s a large resort close to Haad Rin (about 10 minutes by taxi) with a small beach. The breakfast was fine, although the long queue for coffee and the overcooked scrambled eggs were disappointing. The staff are friendly, but there is no one on site after 11pm. On our last night there was a party in one of the apartments. There were no staff available to ask them to turn the music down so I had to do it myself. The rooms are nice and clean, although the shower can take as long as 20 minutes to run hot water. Overall our experience was fine but I wouldn’t stay again.

even though it is a nice location at the end of the bay, many of the rooms are inland facing the laundry area and can only be reached by climbing LOTS of very steep stair. booked a tour staring at 8am and tried to at least get a coffee (breakfast included in the rate) before the official 8am breakfast start and just got a very rude pointing at the wall clock and „not ready yet“. Very disappointing! much nicer places without stairs directly on the beach.

DO NOT TAKE THIS HOTEL if you want a clean Room ,Nice service , and good breakfast. No hot water in our room I talked to the receptionist and he came , try to fixed it. It worked for a bit and here we go again.. cold water came back. Also there is no curtain in the shower so you have to be carefull to not sent water everywhere. Of course I did sent water everywhere out of purpose . Cleaning has never been done, They just covered the bed . We find Lot of sand and some blood was on the sheet. For the breakfast ,we ordered 2 classic breakfast (n°1= look at the picture below)we came at 09.03am There was just around 5 customers who were seating when we arrived . And we have been served ,after multiple reminders, at 09.48am. More than 40 minute just for 2 simple egg 1 bacon and 2 toasted bread. Lol The service was unprofessional and really rough. And they asked me to pay there orange juices who's not including by the way.of course I paid it. Most people who came after us was already served and some of them already gone . So I talked to the waiter and they told that's it's not there fault but the kitchen . ApparentlyThey fighting everyday with them. L.O.L -TAKE THIS HOTEL if you want to be near to the beach . But I really don't recommend it.

Location: About 15 minutes walk from the boat stop. There are also night market (small) and convenience stores (certainly Family Mart) nearby. Service: There is a small shop. I saw various full moon clothes, but if I didn't stick to the design, this was the cheapest in 100B. Other stores were roughly 180B～ close to hardlin or popular design, up to 250B. Room: Clean and there was a bathtub. There was also a desk. Some people say that hot water does not come out, but my room was no problem with hot water and air conditioning. However, I complained because I had a strange sound from the toilet, and it seemed that it would not be flown. If you seem to care too much, I was told to change it, but in fact, it seemed to be solved if it flowed, so I did not change it. Wi-Fi was no problem Breakfast: I'm coming. I ate in the dining room with English type. It seemed to be able to choose Pattaya. I think it was paid. There was no free one. I don't care because it is close to the convenience store. Service Tourism: When you hear a lot, you will take a consultation. The motorcycle lends you two rideables at 1 day 250B (unified price in the island), and if you have it, you can move the island fun. There was an outdoor pool and I enjoyed it. It was quite deep (1.5M?) so I thought that the child should go to the shallow one. I think it is convenient to go to parties such as full moon because there is a place to pick up Sonteu immediately. It is a very recommended inn.

This place has maybe had a facelift recently as the new block of accommodation is really lovely and great value. We stayed in the fan only room which were gone for us and a bargain at 700 Bt per night. The A/C rooms in the next block were more luxurious and had a fridge and TV and were also good value for the area. The pool is great - one of the biggest and best on the beach. There's no restaurant but this really didn't bother us as there's so many places to choose from ( our favourites being the 2C bar up the steep hill with views over the bay and the food court in the village which serves great value, super fresh food with decent portions all served with a smile). Many reviews complaining about the unfriendly staff and issues with extra charges - maybe this was a thing of the past because we had no issues at all. The rooms were cleaned every day and the place was kept really nicely. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very comfortable and the hotel is very comfortable. We realize that in the entrance door framework a mosquito nid is developing, and we ask for a bungalow change. The staff offers another room at 29th more per night (a little depleted by the trip we accept), which is more comfortable (at first view) with a more nice view. After checking the places, the room is as deguilous as it is, the glass bays do not close, the robinet is all intruded, the waste bounds our room, the furnaces spark under the window door and the mosquitoes pass through the inlet door frame that was wrongly positioned. Now talk about the outside: nothing is maintained, the pools are broken, there is a open sky discharge in the middle of the green spaces, the bar waste is filled off the edge (without being changed after service) I'm not sure that the latest person has admitted that the photos on the websites are photos of 20 years ago. They did not make any gestures to refund us last night because we have certainly deguarted to get out to another hotel...! No customer relationship!! A zero pointed !!

We stayed at the Coast for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We were greeted with a welcome drink and the check in process was very fast and efficient. Our room was close to the lobby and modern in design. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. I really liked the grounds of the resort as it was very lush, quiet and beautifully landscaped. The infinity pool was beautiful and inviting as was the beach. The pool bar, although quite pricey was awesome. They had a daily happy hour that we enjoyed and the drinks were so good! We had breakfast included in our stay and it was delicious. Lots of options and variety. The best thing about our stay was the resort pet. There seemed to be a little stray kitten that was living there and she was definitely the greatest part of our trip! She would sit with us everyday and night and we miss her so much already! If you see a kitten with black, orange, and white spots, give her a big cuddle for us!!!

Nice pool, with pool bar. Great breakfast. Excellent staff. Helpful with activities and scooter rentals. We had a bungalow on the beach, a great choice. A little small but we were happy. There is a small sigh on the main road for the hotel, with a long narrow driveway. Reception very friendly and social, with help in finding other restaurants.

Positives first. Accommodation is quite good - convenient location, basic but comfortable room. 2 bottles of water a day and fresh towels. Not so good - staff don’t always clean the room (and refresh the towels and daily water), even when you leave the sign on the door requesting them to clean it. My stay was utterly soured, though, by a bad experience on the last night/check out. During the night, the air conditioner, which is hung very high in the wall (almost at the ceiling, strangely), started leaking badly. Water damaged some of my belongings, including electronic cables, and soaked my clothes, which I had to have washed elsewhere to remove the damp smell. I didn’t complain, though, as these things happen and, until this point, I was really happy with everything, so it wasn’t worth causing an issue over. However, when I was walking to the bathroom holding my room key, which has two plastic tags on it, I slipped in a puddle of water from the air conditioner. I smashed my back on the floor and, luckily, broke my fall with my hand which was holding the key. Part of the plastic broke but the key was still in perfect working order and the plastic bits were only particularly chipped. I went downstairs to mention this and I was told it was fine. When checking out an hour or so later, the staff attempted to withhold 650B of my 1,000 deposit to penalise me for the small bit of damage to a piece of plastic. I was honestly gobsmacked! I mentioned that I had (a) fallen purely due to a huge puddle of water caused by their malfunctioning air conditioner, (b) damaged my back in the process, (c) had some of my belongings soiled with dirty air conditioner water and (d) broken a bit of the plastic off the key fob while falling due to a fault in the room. I had to stand my ground over being fined for an accident that was, to all intents, caused by faulty equipment. THEIR faulty equipment. Eventually, they took 300B from me. I didn’t have time to argue as I had a ferry to catch. But I made it clear that I was absolutely furious to be charged for a piece of plastic that would cost 50B maximum to replace. Long story short: an APPALLING experience but the place itself is fine, if slightly overpriced.

We couldn't recommend Tommy Resort anymore, it was absolutely AMAZING! The staff were incredible and we couldn't wish for anything more. We had 2 trips cancelled, the staff took us under their wing and booked us a private taxi for the day to take us all around the island (for ALOT cheaper than a tour guide) they also contacted a boat trip from Koh Samui to come and pick us up from Koh Phangan and let us join their boat trip around the islands and to Koh Tao. It really was the best stay ever. We was very sad to leave, the staff really do care about their guests and talk to you daily and get to know you, they were generally as sad when we left. 100% going back on our next trip to Thailand

A fantastic beachfront boutique resort Koh Pha Ngan now under new ownership (from October 2020) of a lovely South African couple, Jamie and Natasha. The resort itself has a fabulous aesthetic with hints of Greece and a 'beachcomber' styling. The rooms are gorgeous with smart TV and all amenities. Jamie is a well respected chef so the food at the resort's restaurant, 32 on Lime, speaks for itself. Gorgeous views and sunsets are available for free! Jamie and Natasha are the most genial and welcoming hosts you could ask for. A wonderful place to kick back and relax and enjoy the island life.

So there is like mainly 4 points I use to rate hotels in an tropical climate. The hotel failed all 4. 1. The bed must be ok - at my stay in Tharathip the bed was horrible. You got the springs poking you. Got some bruises from this. Put down a bedding mattress pls. 2. Fridge must work good - The one I got did not. 3. Reasonably mosquito safe - the are like 1 cm cracks everywhere in the construction of the hut. 4. Water runs good - taking a shower when the weather is just dripping is no fun. Tharathip had bad pressure (real bad) in shower an bumgun but not in the sink? I don’t mind the location since I have a scooter but for someone who has not the location could be a problem. Staff was ok and not like many of the other reviews. Pool is dirty and has no shade. But the price was right for 2 days.

The value for the price of the rooms at Seabreeze was amazing. The breakfast that was included was the best we have had in Thailand. The gentleman at the front (forget his name but he was extremely helpful desk throughout our stay) even prepared one to go for us on our departure day. We highly recommend to stay here if you’re looking at staying in Haad Rin. the first picture is the excellent view from their rooftop restaurant. They won us over with their door man (the dog in the second picture)

We stayed one night at the Pier when our ferry was cancelled at the last minute. It was conveniently located and met our needs. Firstly the positives: the room was clean and price was right. It was easy walking distance to the ferries and to a nice food market. That said, on the whole this place could be so much more. However, staff literally could not have been more rude. Closing the bar early, but being quite happy to sit around with their friends drinking. Also, we were not given a hammock despite this being a feature of staying here. Lastly, the location while convenient is on a rather characterless beach that is frequented by stray dogs that move in packs and really made a pest of themselves. The furniture is old and breaking down and the whole resort looks in a state of decline. As mentioned, the price is fine though I believe for a similar price you can stay at a location where staff are at least a little pleased you're there. Not my favourite, but also not the worst. I'd give 2 1/2 stars if possible.

I loved this place its on the beach with friend staff but I stayed their for a week and they never cleaned my room or emptied the trash cans. They advertised that they have a computer room but in fact they did not. I enjoyed the road trip on the island and all the different parties. The food was unbelievable and very affordable. I wish I had a kettle in my room for coffee.

A bit more expensive than other restaurants in the area, but we visited once for an evening meal and then a few days later for lunch. The setting is absolutely stunning, especially during the day overlooking the ocean. The food is excellent, with depth of flavour and a good variety for everyone, including kids. The portions are however a little small, especially for the larb and pasta salads. The quality of the food however is well worth it.

The worst experience I had ever. The worst of the worst hotel ever. I’ve been travelling so many places but this is the worst hotel. I found 100 bugs in my room on my 4th night(staying here for 5 nights) so I went to the reception and asked to change the room. But the rooms were full so I couldn’t change it. But the Thai woman (owner’s wife)at the desk told me there will be one room available next day so I can change the room with 200ish TBH extra because the room is better than the one I stay. So next morning, I packed my luggage and checked out the room and then one of the staffs (guy) told me the family who is staying the room extended their room this morning so now I can’t change the room but we have another room but I have to pay 1500THB because the room is better and higher price. Or I have to stay the same room I was sleeping. It’s ridiculous! I told the woman last night and she said I can change the room at 13:00 today but now I can’t. I hate it so much. I will never come back to this place and I won’t recommend this place to any of my friends. Tell my friends to book another hotel. The room or building is also so old and smells bad. Maybe because of COVID that there has not been in any guests. No one had been using the room for two years. I don’t know. I also saw so many ants and big spider in my room but it was fine. But I just couldn’t bear with the 100 weird bugs in my room. After I wrote this review above. I wanted to ask for the transfer to the pier from the hotel. So I went to the reception. Then that Thai woman just read my review on google so she was so mad and so angry and started shouting at me and swearing so many times, using F word. I couldn’t believe it. She said she never promised me that I could have the new room so I am a liar to write the review. She just kept shouting and losing her temper even I said to her to calm down but just shouting and never listened to me. She threatened me that she won’t take me to the ferry pier. And her husband (owner, Swedish guy) was there so I really thought he could help me. But instead he just said I had to talk to his wife instead of explaining to him what happened and so he doesn’t know anything. I was wrong that I thought he could help me. And also he told me they will never do the drop-off service. I couldn’t believe this. Really not professional at all. They just want to make money but they never care about the guests. Thai wife, never stopped shouting at me. She got a cushion from the couch and threw it so hard to the floor. This moment I felt really it’s dangerous and super uncomfortable and I just decided to leave this horrible place ASAP. Thai wife was crazy and she is mental. I think she is super unfriendly and she has a big problem on her mental part. I am from Japan and now I really think I am so lucky to be born in Japan because it’ll never happen like this thing in Japan. We respect our guests from bottom of our heart. I booked a bungalow~ actually slid around in Koh Phangan and found that there were quite a lot of this kind of conjoined cottage. The basic facilities of the room are still OK. There may be occasional flying insects and gecko in Southeast Asia, but it is not a big problem. Behind the resort is the beach. Listen to the sea sooner or later, look at the scenery and enjoy it. There is a swimming pool in the resort. Every morning, some people clean up and change the water. The owner of the resort will also swim in it, and the hygiene can be assured. The resort offers a variety of dining options and tastes good. Overall, the price can be ~~

The hotel has seen better days. It’s a large resort close to Haad Rin (about 10 minutes by taxi) with a small beach. The breakfast was fine, although the long queue for coffee and the overcooked scrambled eggs were disappointing. The staff are friendly, but there is no one on site after 11pm. On our last night there was a party in one of the apartments. There were no staff available to ask them to turn the music down so I had to do it myself. The rooms are nice and clean, although the shower can take as long as 20 minutes to run hot water. Overall our experience was fine but I wouldn’t stay again.

Hotel was chosen on the principle: showers, sleep, next to Haad Rin. We were settled in the rooms. Clean, comfortable, no great luxury. There is a refrigerator, a large cabinet, a conde. Plus hotel: location. Near Haad Rin, Tongsala City Center, 20 minutes ride on a bike good beaches, no slippers. Until the pier 10 minutes drive. And of course sunsets! There is a cafe in which you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner. Cook delicious. Minuses: The beach is not bathable at all! Swimming. That's probably all. The hotel is recommended only for young people who only sleep and spend the rest of their time riding on the island on bikes.

The location of this hotel is really bad. It is not recommended to go to a full moon party, and it is not recommended for the elderly and children. Because you have to take a boat, that boat charges an extra fee and it's unsafe and you have to wait to get people together. The check-out on the return trip was too turbulent. The car we made was more expensive, and the road was particularly poor. There were many slopes of 70-80 degrees. The car will be bumpy for 45 minutes. The room facilities are also very poor. The entire resort felt that there were no more than 8 employees, and management was chaotic. On the day of the full moon party, there were at least 4 repeated rooms. Fortunately, we stayed there and there was too much luggage. Someone cancelled it with luck. Well, that room is really simple. There is no hot water kettle, nor are there any TV, refrigerator, slippers, coffee, tea bags or the like. The hotel room is on the hillside, so it is prudent to bring large luggage. Because the person carrying the luggage may not be available. Two restaurants around. Two convenience stores. They are all small. The breakfast was ordered. This place is not recommended except for those who bring a small amount of luggage on vacation. real. drunk. The price is not very cheap. It feels particularly uncomfortable for the place not to spend the money

The hotel is very comfortable and the hotel is very comfortable. We realize that in the entrance door framework a mosquito nid is developing, and we ask for a bungalow change. The staff offers another room at 29th more per night (a little depleted by the trip we accept), which is more comfortable (at first view) with a more nice view. After checking the places, the room is as deguilous as it is, the glass bays do not close, the robinet is all intruded, the waste bounds our room, the furnaces spark under the window door and the mosquitoes pass through the inlet door frame that was wrongly positioned. Now talk about the outside: nothing is maintained, the pools are broken, there is a open sky discharge in the middle of the green spaces, the bar waste is filled off the edge (without being changed after service) I'm not sure that the latest person has admitted that the photos on the websites are photos of 20 years ago. They did not make any gestures to refund us last night because we have certainly deguarted to get out to another hotel...! No customer relationship!! A zero pointed !!

The house gave me a very good impression. It felt cool when I entered the first day. The space on the first floor was open, and the glass in front of it was glass, revealing the clear pool and the sea in the distance. My family and I have a pleasant experience here. The location of the house is not too good, there is no shop nearby, but we rented a motorcycle when we went out. It is convenient to have a car. So this is not enough. We also book breakfast on the morning of the last day. A few aunts came over and made a table in half an hour. We will choose the next time there is a chance.

Going to Bottle beach was spontanuous decision made in a bus from BKK to Koh Phangan. We wanted to find quiet place without full moon crowd. I was do worried about the dirt road to bottle beach, but my boyfriend was so brave haha that he said we’ll at least try to go by rented scooter. That Wasn’t easy and perfectly safe but possible, even with biiig backpacks. And that was a perfect thing- quiet, beautiful beach and jungle with monkeys, great sea, friendly people and so peacefull place...and we could take our scooter and visit all the rest of the island almost every day. It was just perfect. But if we were to use Just expesive 4x4 taxis or water taxis or sit there without moving I guess it would not be that great experience. We didn’t have reservations so we’ve tried 2 different resorts, and 3 different types of bungalows. All of them were great in their own way. Not very high standard but clean. Food in every restaurant was good, and this massages by the sea...awww, I want to go back!

Shop 711 is downstairs from the hotel, and there are many restaurants around it that are very convenient for life. The hotel rooms are also very large, with good lighting, large refrigerators, TVs, wardrobes, etc. There are two bottles of water in each room, and you can get them at the front desk if you need them. There is no hot water bottle, and you need to go to the front desk downstairs to make coffee or tea. There are simple shampoos. The bedding and towels are not very clean and they are dark. I had quite high expectations of the resort based on the photos so I was a little worried I'd be disappointed, but Panviman managed to exceed them. We felt special from the moment we arrived, and as we were guided towards the reception were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful tropical gardens. It got even better when we were shown the pool villa where we'd be spending the next three nights. It didn't just have one private pool, it had two beautifully decorated pools with view over the nearby beach and tropical rainforest. The room was decorated in traditional style and came with a large bathroom with a bath looking into the villa's small tropical garden. The next morning we woke up early due to our jetlag and jumped into the pool to see the sunrise. A magical experience. We then made our way to the breakfast buffet and two months later I'm still raving about it. Eggs made to order - we were very impressed with the omelets. Great coffee, fresh fruits, and a variety of choices in cold and hot food. The restaurant had a 180 degree view over two beaches and the ocean; absolutely stunning. For the second half of our stay we booked a de luxe hotel room as we were planning to do some tours and thought we'd use the resort's shared pool(s) - which is beautiful. However, when we came into the reception to change rooms we were given the keys to another pool villa! We spent 6 very relaxing days at the resort and really appreciated the friendly service, great breakfast, cocktail happy hours, and the stunning pool villas. We did find it a bit hard to request things that weren't standard due to language barriers, and we were not impressed with the massages we received at the hotel spa - our requests weren't listened to and it was an underwhelming experience overall. But we really appreciated the upgrade and overall had a fantastic experience at Panviman Resort - I'd be back in a heartbeat (and a few flights)!

My husband and I had only booked for 1 night originally but after arriving and being greeted so warmly by Taylor, seeing the beautiful room and swimming in the incredible sea right off the hotel, we extended for 5 days. At the end we still didn’t want to leave. We found this to be the perfect place to relax _ by day we swam, took the kayak to a nearby beach, ate great pizza at the hotel, enjoyed breakfasts cooked to order at the hotel, had beers at sunset and walked to the town in 5 minutes for amazing and inexpensive massages. Regarding restaurants in town, we really enjoyed the French Thai place (Luca?) and the place where there is a sole woman chef. The hotel is owned by an interior decorator and the rooms are decorated with great attention to detail. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The hotel is small and quiet -only the sounds of the ocean at night. It’s wonderful to hear the rain on the roof as well. We enjoyed our days and nights so much we didn’t even rent a scooter to explore the east side of the island. We coupled our stay here with a hotel near the full moon party beach and I feel the juxtaposition of the 2 experiences was perfect. We are already discussing when we can return to Sand in My Shoes. It’s a must_ whether you are solo, a couple or a family with 3 kids. Kudos to Taylor and the owner- well done! Also, we are beach snobs and this was hands down one of the most spectacular beaches we have ever been to _ the sand, the water, the waves. Perfection.

So there is like mainly 4 points I use to rate hotels in an tropical climate. The hotel failed all 4. 1. The bed must be ok - at my stay in Tharathip the bed was horrible. You got the springs poking you. Got some bruises from this. Put down a bedding mattress pls. 2. Fridge must work good - The one I got did not. 3. Reasonably mosquito safe - the are like 1 cm cracks everywhere in the construction of the hut. 4. Water runs good - taking a shower when the weather is just dripping is no fun. Tharathip had bad pressure (real bad) in shower an bumgun but not in the sink? I don’t mind the location since I have a scooter but for someone who has not the location could be a problem. Staff was ok and not like many of the other reviews. Pool is dirty and has no shade. But the price was right for 2 days.

DO NOT TAKE THIS HOTEL if you want a clean Room ,Nice service , and good breakfast. No hot water in our room I talked to the receptionist and he came , try to fixed it. It worked for a bit and here we go again.. cold water came back. Also there is no curtain in the shower so you have to be carefull to not sent water everywhere. Of course I did sent water everywhere out of purpose . Cleaning has never been done, They just covered the bed . We find Lot of sand and some blood was on the sheet. For the breakfast ,we ordered 2 classic breakfast (n°1= look at the picture below)we came at 09.03am There was just around 5 customers who were seating when we arrived . And we have been served ,after multiple reminders, at 09.48am. More than 40 minute just for 2 simple egg 1 bacon and 2 toasted bread. Lol The service was unprofessional and really rough. And they asked me to pay there orange juices who's not including by the way.of course I paid it. Most people who came after us was already served and some of them already gone . So I talked to the waiter and they told that's it's not there fault but the kitchen . ApparentlyThey fighting everyday with them. L.O.L -TAKE THIS HOTEL if you want to be near to the beach . But I really don't recommend it.
