Beach right outside hotel rooms clean and modern staff really friendly and welcoming

Nice hotel, clean, staff very friendly close to the bar and have restaurant at the front of the hotel

It was an amazing weekend getaway at Avatara. Even tho we lost our sunglasses by another guests taking it, but the staff managed to get it back to us

A very disappointing stay and would not recommend it to anyone. The accommodation is very tired and in need of an extensive overhaul. We felt very enclosed in the room with no view other than other rooms and peoples washing . We were expecting a pretty little, scenic climb to our room but it was not like that at all. We paid top price for a poor standard of accommodation and lots of bad smells at times. On a plus side the staff were a lovely and the beach area is pretty but very squashed in.

This resort is pretty perfect for families or people not wanting to party every night. I stayed here with my elderly parents, and I don't really have anything bad to say about it. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk on the beach to the more busy part in one direction, and a few minutes the other direction to some of the more nightclub places. This resort is nestled in-between those two noisy places and you can't hear the sound of the music if you want to sleep early. This is why I would rate this place as 10/10. Something to note is that the walk to the rooms is up a hill, so if you don't like walking then maybe it's not for you. For the price, I don't think you can do better than this place.

Overall, not bad but a few key areas need improvement. Pros Excellent location with everything you need, including a nice beach, on your doorstep Restaurant serves decent Thai and Western food at good prices Dining right on the beach Beach is well kept and while not private never felt crowded Rooms are good sized with nice bathrooms Cons Mattress is rock hard with a very thin and almost non-existent pillow Walls, ceilings and floors very thin so be prepared to hear everything and everyone 24/7 Breakfast is very sad and not worth paying for

Great place and great location. Only one resort who can provide indian food ( veg and non veg). Friendly staff and fast service. Price wise also very good deal.

Hotel is located right across from the beach. Breakfast on the beach every morning will put a smile on your face. Situated in a quieter part of the beach. Would stay again. Only negative is the hotel is on a hill. Not an easy climb for the elderly. A bit of a work out.

we got deceived by the price. we thought paying more would be a more comfortable stay but this is by far, the worst experience we had. In fairness, the cleaners are good, nice beach front, huge room; however, they dont have indoor slippers, their pillows were hard, the ac was too noisy, decorative pillows were stinky, tv only showed thai channel, food was very expensive for the poor quality. they are renovating mostly the buildings so you’ll be placed uphill, stairs to climb are steep so definitely not comfortable for travelling with luggage. definitely the most awful stay we had in a hotel. nearby hotels are far better.

Stayed here before and nice hotel..Just a lot of stairs.if your on the 3rd floor with bad knees

We lived on the 3rd floor, which means you need to climb all the way to your room. It's okay if you like to exercise, but not okay for the people who are not active. Don't worry, just ask and they will help you with your suitcases. The view in the bathroom is great! And the bathroom itself is great. The room is okay, the bed is comfortable, just pillows are uneven... The breakfast is average... No coffee machine and the choices are very limited. Overall I would say that the price-quality ratio is very reasonable.
