Reviews of Samed Cabana Resort

Great little villa right on the beach. Listen to the waves all night. Walking distance to minimart and some restaurants. Do need a bike to get around the island. Only bad thing would be the walls are a little thin so can hear some noise from villa next to you , like when they close the toilet door etc.  had a great 2 night stay

We had the best time during our stay. The beach and pool are very accessible. The pool is nice and clean. Breakfast food is delicious and well prepared.

Good location with beachfront rooms, available water sport activities and attractive breakfast.. Value for money..

Been to Samed Cabana on numerous occasions and really can't beat the Beachfront cabanas. However it's really disappointing and irritating to meet an unfriendly staff at the lobby. Poor service skills and definitely not the Thai way to greet guests. Hotel needs to seriously consider changing the front office manager. All the other staff are great except for one dinner where I had given them food to warm (food for my kids) and they served it to another guests! And I can speak Thai! Absolutely ridiculous. Shall return provided front office goes through a hospitality course.

The amount of money we have spent to stayed there wasn’t worth it. The rooms are very basic, small bathroom and no hand wash and hand towels. The swimming pool was also just okay and breakfast wasn’t good either. We had better stays in Thailand with much lower price and good service and amenities.

The location of the resort is right on the beach and that is the only positive thing about this. The hotel staff is very lazy and pretend not to understand English. They don't even arrange for pick up and drop and no answer when called. Breakfast options are basic and not great.

A little way down the track, unless you have the boat drop you off at the hotel.

Excellent hotel, fantastic location and great restaurant.

The location of the hotel is what I want. There is a beach and sea right outside the door. The beach chairs are free to use, so I don't expect too much from other things. The hotel breakfast is average, just a few bites and then go to the town to eat and drink. In general, the cost performance is not high.

Beach Font Room: The room still has sand stuck to it, it's not clean, the air conditioner isn't cool at all, the service staff doesn't help carry the bags to the car.

The waitress Jessica was very friendly to the guests. I really appreciated the coffee maker in the room, but what I was most satisfied with was the balcony outside the room. I could enjoy the fire ring show while sitting there. It was a great experience.

Overall, everything is great. I cover all the minuses by the fact that it is the first line of the beach.

There was a rat in our bungalow this time. It gnawed through the wall and entered the bungalow. In our absence and at night it eats food supplies. After we reported this to the reception, the workers came and patched up the hole, I asked to poison the rat, but they said that there is no poison for it. Overall, we like the hotel, this was the second visit to Samed Cabana.
