Lub d Koh Samui Chaweng Beach - Beachfront & Vibrant Social Vibe

I have stayed at Lub d several times and recently spent a full week here. Overall, my stay was smooth and enjoyable, as always, and I truly appreciate the social atmosphere and the location. However, this time I was disappointed with the late check-out experience. On a previous stay, I was kindly allowed a late check-out until 3 pm at no extra cost. This time, I was told there is a strict policy and was charged 500 baht per hour, which added up quickly. I understand that policies can change and that complimentary options are not guaranteed. Still, as a returning guest, I expected a bit more flexibility or at least a more considerate approach. Because of this experience, I have to lower my rating.

Great hostel overall. For solo travelers expect to see lots of couples and groups given half the rooms or more are double bedrooms.

Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff are super friendly and extremely helpful! This is my second time staying here and it was nothing but wonderful. The location is right on the beach, there are restaurants, convenience stores and massage stores within a 5 minute walk. The food and drinks are also delicious at the hotel.

Perfect social vibe and location, but cleanliness needs work Overall, Lub d is a really cute place. The facilities are great with two pools and direct beach access. The room was small but cozy and comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the nightlife. If you are looking to meet new people, socialize, and be close to the parties, this is the perfect spot for you. However, the cleanliness was not amazing. When we arrived, we noticed stains on our towels. We asked for replacements, but even the "fresh" ones were stained, and this was a persistent issue throughout our entire stay.

Lubd is my favorite Hotel Hostel !!! Its perfect for solo travelers!!! I met a lot of friends . Have a nice 2 swimming pools in front of the beach and the breakfast is Delicious. Staffs are good and kind. But the Welcome drink is only can get. At 4:30pm And if you are not still use the coupon 15 minutes from 4:30 pm u cannot use that day, they will say u can use it next day, But sadly it was my last day that day so yeah i did not Get use that one, I ask the bartender and receptionist but they say NO and NO CONSIDERATION. I was so sad . But its ok i hope they change it like in Phuket LUBD u can use your welcome coupon anytime.
