Idyllic Samui Beach Villa Resort

The resort cleanliness level is very good. The staff were all very helpful and accommodating except for 1 night staff who doesn’t seemed to know much about the job. I checked in very late in a stormy rain. When I arrived, I needed to know how I can contact or get help should I need; there is no shelter linked to the main office, no telephones for you to contact them. He couldn’t produce it. We also needed to ask what our breakfasts were and where we could have them. It was only upon checking he gave us a menu. He seemed to not know many things and can’t converse well in English. There was a booklet for all the guests for you to read so u know what’s in for you. It states that if you wish to do laundry on your own, the resort would provide the detergent. We requested, but the staff said they wouldn’t provide. I asked them to refer to the booklet but she said it was not updated. We needed to buy on our own. We went out and when we returned, a packet of detergent was there for us though. The 4 days we were there, the rain was almost non stop. We booked this resort because we felt that even if we couldn’t get to anywhere we could enjoy the resort still. But, this was not possible. The internet connection was persistently an issue. There was sometimes the pop up page to connect and sometimes it would not activate. We couldn’t watch much. The speed was horrendous even for me to do any work, or any uploading of my media files. We wanted to catch from football games but the internet was just too slow. We had to use our hotspot to watch the games or do anything quicker. There were some stairs leading to the main door of the villa, when it rains, there was a part that was very slippery. It was constructed with some kind of slopes with a little bit of steps… I’m not sure why they would want to construct it that way, because I’ve got elderlies traveling with me. If you are looking to go out all the time and only needed a shelter, this accommodation may work. But if you are here during a monsoon season, and are looking to do some work using the internet, you are in for lots of frustrations. On the day of departure, we had a punctured Tyre. The staff helped to get someone to come and help repair it. In the end, we were able to leave safely. All in all, I believe the staff is one of the main reasons the resort is doing ok.

We had a great time. My family stayed in the Beach Rose Villa that was ocean front. This part of our Thailand trip was for rest and relaxation.

Great place to be with family and kids. Far from Samui noise, with private clean not crowded beach. On the other hand takes only 15 minutes to get to all central popular places. Villa is real value for money. Huge private pool. Big rooms. Stuff is awesome. Very friendly and helpful.

This place is amazing. We stayed in the Beach Rose Villas - 3 separate villas around a private pool with direct access through your own gate to the beach. The photos do not do it justice. It really was idyllic for our family of 7 adults and one 18 month year old. Nothing was too much trouble for the team from cleaning, to arranging transport, to ordering food, to helping sort our flights home. Really lovely people - all of them. It's a little out of the way so you have to get transport to most places if you want to eat out but it is worth it. We hired mopeds for the duration which were very cheap.

Well we are just about to leave this Idyllic place and what a fabulous time we have had. So this villa is perfect as it’s about 10 minutes out of the hassle and bustle and right away from the main area , you do need to either be happy to pay for taxis (£9) each way to Fisherman Village, main area that’s close by or hire a car. We choose taxi, there are lots around. Take the Idyllic card and just show them when you want a taxi, if you give the team notice they will drive you in and you can get a taxi back, Idyllic will charge you to take you but they are so lovely. The villa is gorgeous and the team cannot do enough to make sure you have a lovely time. They are so friendly and will help you with what ever you need. The manager and lovely lady takes time to talk to you and make sure everything is ok. No Restaurant or bar just villa and a private beach. So as long as your all prepared you cannot have a bad experience. We had 3 adults a 17 year old a 19 year old and 3 and 5 year old and we have all had an amazing time.
