Lovely, well maintained resort with comfortable villas, beautiful pool and good food in the restaurant (Penang curry recommended). The pool staff / waiters for pool area were not assertive at all, wouldn’t clean tables or take initiative to take orders. This didn’t match the overall service experience and was truly dissapointing. Staff in general very friendly.

Great location, not very busy area of KohSamui, beach is nice and with the beautiful view. We had a garden villa, it’s great, but I wish the sheets are more cleaner. The hotel itself is really beautiful, great for taking pictures also to chill. The only thing we didn’t like is the waiters who couldn’t speak English well and took the wrong order twice and after all didn’t come to apologize. The breakfast is quite low quality, there are only a few dishes with average taste.

This hotel is wonderful! From the moment you enter from a busy main rd it is an oasis of calm. The front house staff were very efficient and welcoming. Our garden villa was amazing, huge, big comfy bed, coffee machine, lovely terrace…. Just beautiful. And then we went to the pool… wow, wow, wow it was wonderful. Best sunbeds ever, pool overlooking the ocean, drinks and food service with a smile. The lady who seems to run the pool/restaurant area was incredible… so very hardworking and attentive. There were some cocktail issues but she is working hard to train the new staff. The design of the whole place is so gorgeous. We didn’t want to leave!

On my first day on Koh Samui, I stayed at Zazen Boutique Resort & Spa. The resort had a calming atmosphere, surrounded by tropical greenery, and was very charming. Even the room interior had a touch of Thai flair. The on-site restaurant was beautiful, and the location, offering ocean views while dining, was fantastic. To be honest, though, the service was a little lacking, and the young female staff member at the check-in counter seemed a bit awkward at times. The facilities were also quite old. These two points were a bit disappointing, considering the restaurant's lovely atmosphere. Still, spending time enjoying the pleasant breeze on the beach was exceptional, and the environment was perfect for relaxation on my first day of my trip. It was a great start to my stay on Koh Samui, building up my anticipation for the following day.

The best resort and boutique hotel! Every staff member was so attentive, they knew us by name, and they fulfilled our every need! The breakfast was fantastic, the selection, and the quality was a dream.

This time I had a great experience staying at the hotel in Koh Samui! The room is spacious and bright, decorated in a tropical style, with a large balcony facing the beautiful sea view, and you can enjoy the sunset on the lounge chair. The service staff is warm and considerate, and they provide refreshing drinks and welcome fruits when you check in, and take the initiative to clean the room and replenish supplies every day. The breakfast is rich in variety, with both Thai specialties and Western food, and the taste is amazing! I will choose here again next time I come to Koh Samui!

This hotel is equivalent to a 3-star hotel at 5-star prices. Even though it's the coolest season now, it was still too hot to sleep at night. The air conditioner was so loud that I couldn't sleep at all. There were also two fans overhead, which were also quite loud, right above the bed. The air conditioner had a musty smell. The front desk lady had a terrible service attitude. From check-in to check-out, I didn't see a single smile and was completely indifferent. There were few restaurants within 300 meters of the hotel, and the convenience store was a 100-200-meter walk. The hotel breakfast was pathetic and semi-buffet. The hotel restaurant was delicious, but the pool had a dirty bottom and was impossible to enter. Maybe it's because it's a popular hotel for photogenic photos! The price is similar to the InterContinental! However, it's not even one-fifth as satisfactory as the InterContinental. The location is also bad, about 6 kilometers from the downtown area! It's a hassle to get a taxi every day!

Overall it's ok. When I went there, the public swimming pool was very dirty with leaves all over it. But the room was really good. The attitude of the waiters in the restaurant was average. The food in the restaurant was ok. It was close to the beach where Jay Chou went. The fire dance show was great!

What I am not satisfied with this hotel is that the breakfast has too few varieties. But the restaurant is really nice, the room is clean, and the spa is really worth a try. It is quite comfortable, and 120 minutes is about 300 RMB, which is very worthwhile. Another point is that I brought two children and I need to add 1,000 Baht per night for each child. I booked two rooms, and the two children cost 2,000*3 nights, so I need to spend 6,000 Baht more. I don't understand this point, and compared with five-star hotels, they only charge one child at most. This kind of charge of this hotel is very unreasonable.

The hotel is very beautiful and worth a visit.

I was attracted by the hotel restaurant at first sight, so I placed an order. When I arrived, I found that the view was really great. It was close to the sea and had a sense of the Mediterranean. The hotel is small and beautiful, quiet, with a swimming pool. When swimming, the waiter will ask if you want free drinks. Half of the breakfast is self-service, usually ordered, and the eggs and desserts are good. The staff are very warm and friendly. The location is close to the night market in the small fishing village, and it is very convenient to rent a motorcycle.

Zazen is a more holiday-style hotel. It is not big and was just renovated a few years ago. The hotel's restaurant is very famous and is also very photogenic. I give it a thumbs up. The only downside is that there was a huge cockroach on the white floor at night. It crawled so fast that it scared the baby to death. The staff got rid of it.
