Coco Sunset Beach

Nice little place right on the beachfront. Staff were very friendly and the food was good at the restaurant. Came here with my girlfriend to relax for a week after a few nights in Bangkok, and would recommend as a place to eat and relax on the beach but probably wouldn’t recommend staying here too long. The beach huts we stayed in were a nice size but weren’t the best. No air con (which we were aware of beforehand) but unfortunately the fans weren’t working that well so the hut was extremely hot. Also if you’re over 5’8” I wouldn’t recommend staying here, the huts were built for hobbits I think. I had to duck to get in every door in the hut and on the little porch. Worst of all the noise at night is awful! We were aware of the proximity to the road and the resort did kindly provide earplugs but it is so loud at night that it was impossible to get to sleep. To summarise, worth the stay for a couple of nights and the surrounding area is nice with a good few restaurants in walking distance that had great food and were cheap. The resort itself is quite a romantic place but I wouldn’t recommend staying here longer than a few days if you stay in the huts.

The location, right on the beach, was really nice and the staff was helpful. There was a variety of beds and bean bags on the beach, very comfortable and free to use. The bar and restaurant area was quite nice. But our bungalow was such in a bad state that we left after one night. The bungalow had a very bad smell (we think it might be mold) and was really not clean, we found it quite gross to stay inside it and especially on the bed which was very dusty. It was also quite unkept, with a lot of things that didn’t work and that contributed to make our short stay extremely uncomfortable - among others, there was no warm water, the bamboo windows couldn’t be locked and there was ample space between the windows and the frame, it was extremely difficult to lock and unlock the front door. Since the hut was leaking air from everywhere, the standing air co didn’t manage to cool it down and basically didn’t make any difference. I also didn’t like that there was a price list for damaged, lost or even stolen items by the door, I don’t think it’s a nice stance to have towards customers. I don’t know why the other reviews are so enthusiastic, maybe we were extremely unlucky with our bungalow, although it seems like it was one of the better ones since it was adjacent to the beach and not to the busy road.

If you are in the area this is the best place to stop and visit to spend the day in beautiful surroundings. The restaurant / bar is run by a lovely family who really take pride in their business. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming. The food and beverages are excellent quality at a fair price. The restaurant is on a lovely stretch of beach, quiet, secluded and a must on your places to visit. We look forward to many more visits to come.

The most perfect place to chill and the most perfect staff and owners 💖 If u ever go to Koh Samui this is the best place to be and relax and the beach views are so mezmerising all the way to Koh Phangan. Bungalows are so clean and super big with the nicest terrance ever 🥰 6/5 easily 💖 We definitely are coming back to this Paradise 🥰 And Bobo the dog is soooooo cute 🐶

Just perfect. Perfect location, right on the beach and peaceful relaxing place. Comfortable authentic accommodation, bungalows are beautiful. Food amazing. The owners and staff all amazing, super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Even after 1 day I felt at home. So glad I booked here for my few days on the island. Perfect. Thankyou 🙏
