Hotels in Bang Por, Koh Samui

We stayed here for a total of 9 nights with my parents-in-law. We had the same experience with the noise isolation. You can clearly hear other guests even they are inside their room and so people who are walking outside and so your own noises will be heard with others. Like, we even talked whispering especially after midnight or early in the morning like 5. Our shower doesn’t work well, the flow of the water is inconsistent and slow and the worst part is the water heater doesn’t work so it was an agony for us to take a shower every time. Staff are friendly though. But the exterior is truly beautiful. The location is nice since its close to the beach, cafes, restaurants, 7/11, and mini bigC.

A beautiful stay should have been 5-star. Lovely breakfast, choice of 2 gorgeous pools, great community spaces like the Family Room and the Book Nook, a gorgeous bedroom, stunning lighting and a magnificent bathroom. Unfortunately, we arrived to a room that stank of mould and stagnant water. It was too late at night to ask for another room, and we didn’t know if others would be the same, but wish we had asked.  There is an obvious leak in the ceiling and hard to believe staff could not smell it. It was foul, permeated the mattress and even hard surfaces. There were dead flies in the bath too. A real shame.  The location is awesome, close to beach, town and yet private and quiet.  Staff are kind, welcoming and very helpful!

The hotel is very beautiful and has a stunning view. Unfortunately, the service was extremely poor. We had to ask several times for simple things, but nothing changed. I requested three towels for the room many times, yet there were always only two. The shower did not work properly the water was either boiling hot or ice cold. I asked several times for it to be fixed, but no one ever came. The hotel has a beach boutique and provides transportation there. We were taken to the beach, but no one picked us up afterward. We were told they were too busy, so we had to take a taxi back ourselves. The hotel has great potential because of its beauty and location, but the service needs serious improvement.

Quiet and amazing place to relax just a few steps from your door to the beach. Delicious restaurant. So kindly staff! Once I’m back to Samui, I’m going to stay there again, for sure!

During my recent stay at The Sea,I was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. The hotel offered a perfect balance of comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service that made my trip truly memorable. The room exceeded my expectations. It was spacious, and modern with thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a long day of travel. The view from the window, overlooking the sea was a delightful bonus. The location was another highlight—it was conveniently close to Michelin Thai restaurants, less crowded and close to the beach. The resort’s vibe is fantastic, and yet quiet enough for a peaceful retreat. The only minor drawback was hotel facilities is old and technically you can’t used them during your stay. Overall, The Sea provided an exceptional experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, relax and peaceful retreat and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

We stayed 6 nights in a Deluxe Room and it was wonderful! The resort was not lacking in any way; the staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the entire atmosphere was idyllic! We also highly recommend if you desire a stay away from the busy atmosphere of other locations.

The villa swimming pool is on the seaside and has German design standards. It is cost-effective and worth staying. Especially the beautiful receptionist at the front desk and the waiter service made us feel at home. The fruit ice tea made us feel a little cool from the hot weather and immediately calmed down. He quickly checked us in with proficient English, which made us feel full of happiness. The exquisite villa and high-end white bedding all show the exquisite quality. Various bath, shower, conditioner and body lotions are fragrant and refreshing. The health staff work hard from morning to night to ensure that everything is beautiful here and leave us an unforgettable trip. I wish Moorea Boutique Resort Hotel will get better and better next time we come!

We stayed here for 4 nights. It is a beautiful location but in order to get back to any civilization it is about a 15 minute walk down a long road to the nearest 7/11. And to get a taxi to go anywhere is about 600 baht since there isn’t a lot of things to do around that area. The staff is so friendly! Lin, was always checking up on us everyday. Here at the hotel they have free snorkeling which is awesome and the water is clear enough to see fish! We loved doing that! Breakfast is great and after breakfast is done they switch to lunch and dinner menu which the food was also so good!
