1. Had 2 separate bookings and requested them to make it a back-to-back reservation so I have the same room throughout my stay. Had informed them prior to arrival (assured me it’s done), had to request and remind again upon check in (apparently wasn’t done). Came by the front desk to check on it a day before my 2nd booking (it wasn’t done yet again!). The next day, my key wasn’t working as it wasn’t programmed for my entire stay. They gave me a bogus reason that I need to check in again when I was assured everything was resolved on 3 occasions! 2. Requested for late check out and was told to check again on the eve of my departure. Checked on the eve of my departure, to only be rejected for late check out. Was repeatedly told to keep my luggage at 12pm when I was trying to reason with them. We know we can leave our luggage like any other hotel but didn’t want to. Hence, the late check out. The staff should be able to see the occupancy forecasts and manage my expectations upon check in and not disappoint me on a later day. 3. Shared my negative experience and after some empathetic requests (I didn’t want any monetary service recovery), was given an extra hour for late check out. They said that’s the best they can do. 4. Make sure to lock all your valuables in the safe. Housekeeping left my door ajar after make up room. I only found out when I returned at night! 5. Nice beach bar but basic cocktails. The minimum spent for a sofa/bed is ridiculously high. So visit other beach bars with better service and cocktails. 6. To all that’s reading this, don’t expect any empathy and assistance from this hotel. Don’t make any request! They can’t resolve them! I gave them 2 stars for the below. Positives: 1. Location is okay, quiet area with some stores and restaurants 2. Staff was friendly and pool is warm to dip 3. Breakfast acceptable.

Samui Green Hotel

Chaweng Beach Koh Samui|0.18km from Samui Boat Panmas
The hotel is hidden away off the road so easily missed and is probably one step up from a hostel in my opinion. This being said, the rooms are spacious and as advertised, just nothing special or luxurious about the place. Beds are hard as rocks, we had to change rooms as the first one was like lying on wood (room 205) but they did accommodate this quickly. It seems that most of the rooms have broken shower head holders as well so be prepared to have to hold this to wash yourself down, but again, this isn’t a major issue. Internet is a bit hit and miss, but again, the owner helped sort this out promptly when I asked for help. We didn’t realise you have to pay for your room on arrival and there is a 2% fee for card/ cash for this so beware and be prepared prior to arrival. There is no lift, just one narrow winding staircase up to the floor of rooms. Construction next door means if it’s windy (which it often is), the leftover materials clank around really noisily which is annoying when you’re trying to sleep. The local area is still noticeably recovering from Covid with many places closed or derelict so you have to walk about 25/30 mins to the more lively part of the island but this is no real bother. Beach is a 5 min walk round the corner so although the hotel has no pool, you don’t miss it. Plenty of places to grab a drink, some bar food and a Thai massage down the beach too. Would happily up the score to 4/5 if the beds and pillows were better, the Wi-Fi was consistent and there was actually tea and coffee in the rooms to go with the kettle as I think the hotel is great value for money and is adequately advertised so you should know what to expect. The hotel arranged a taxi to collect us from the local airport for 350b which was on time, professional and had AC so this is a great feature. Just drop them a message pre-arrival to arrange.

The hotel front desk service is really good. The room was also super clean. It’s also very close to Chaweng Beach and the restaurants.

We liked our stay in this place very much! The hotel is right on the beach, very green terrotorry, small bungallows surrounded by palms and greenery, 20 m to the beach from our bungalow. The sea and the beach very good, better than other hotels nearby. The staff was always friendly and helpfull. Breakfasts were good, the only thing I missed is cheese abscence, everything else were very good and delicious. There is a beach bar in a hotel, possible to order drinks and coctails, they offered different promotions and happy hours every day.

My stay at Centara Reserve Samui was truly exceptional. Few, Ton at the reception provided top-notch service, setting a welcoming tone. The ocean view from my room was breathtaking, and the option to rent kayaks and paddle boards added adventure to my trip. Even after check-out, I was able to make use of the well-maintained gym and shower facilities. The cleanliness and overall quality of the gym made it a perfect place to unwind and refresh before heading out.The pool offered a stunning beach view, and the breakfast buffet, with customizable and pre-serviced options, catered to every taste. Additionally, the hotel's prime location provided easy access to a variety of tasty restaurants in the vicinity. Exploring the local cuisine was a delightful adventure in itself. It was the perfect setting for a memorable honeymoon, and there were plenty of delicious restaurants nearby. The services were worth the price, and I can't wait to return for another fantastic stay:)

So much to say but if you are that kind of person who researches, investigates, worries etc , no need more researching , this place is exceptionally great for the value. It is run by two sisters, well one looks after the hotel and the other sells excursions, takes care of washing , rents motorbikes out etc. They are very friendly and hardworking, they never stop working and always making sure you are comfortable and enjoying yourself. It's just as good as some five star rip off hotels in Europe . My room had a modern air conditioning unit, nice furniture , fridge always re-stocked with water bottles , satellite TV and keep going on , I was very comfortable etc.it has everything that you get in a 200 pound per night room in London , even better and more and people with a smile . I think I was paying around 20 pound per night . The location is great as not right in the centre where it's the party area etc , got a great Thai cooking school ( featured on BBC ) where you can eat literally opposite , so if you like comfort when waking up and have hotel food , no need worry that there is not a restaurant, just cross the road and you will have another great experience ( but they provide free coffee , tea , fruit in mornings aswell ). I stayed in quite a few places as went around island and was my favourite.
