Tao Island Boutique Hotel

Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights and this was our favourite accommodation of the whole trip. Hands down one of THE most beautiful places we have stayed in for many different reasons. Less than 10 minute drive from Songserm Pier to the hotel. STUNNING ROOMS, super clean and tidy, beautiful decor, your own private rooftop pool area with a sea view which absolutely makes this place a winner. We saw some of the most gorgeous sunsets here. The room had all the amenities you could need, toiletries, bath robes, hairdryer, toothbrushes, indoor and outdoor slippers, beach towels and not forgetting to mention how incredibly comfy the bed and pillows were, felt like sleeping on a cloud! It is a little on the pricey side but paying that little bit extra made our trip even more special and memorable. In addition to this it’s in the best location, central to everything you need, bars, restaurants and shops etc. a 10 second walk to the beach, massage shop directly opposite and a 7/11 a 2 minute walk away. So many amazing restaurants nearby, one in particular we loved was Sandbar Restaurant which was about a 2 minute walk away. Also the same distance to Fishbowl Beachbar, again it’s such a great location because your in the midst of everything but when your in the property it’s still peaceful. The room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels and replenished water bottles. The hotel staff were helpful on arrival by taking our bags to our rooms, and one guy in particular giving us a lovely tour and showing us how everything worked (apologies I can’t remember his name). They advised us they can book any activities or day trips for us and that we can arrange the free shuttle to the pier on departure which was a great extra. We also were only originally meant to stay 3 nights but wanted 1 extra night. they were very accommodating and luckily had our room available for 1 extra night so that was very quickly arranged. Our ONLY slight criticism would be the friendliness of some of the staff in general. Don’t get me wrong I understand it’s a very busy running hotel and there’s lots going on but I sometimes felt they could be a bit short and could have been a bit friendlier. They weren’t the most approachable staff I’ve ever come across. Other than that I can’t fault this place and would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you for accommodating us.

If you can get into this spot don’t hesitate! It’s amazing. Views from the pool are awesome.Good value for money. Please note no kitchen. There is a small bar fridge and coffee is provided. The accommodation is luxurious and very central. Right close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The pool upstairs is so nice! Enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

the worst hotel i've stayed in thailand (i been 13 times in 100+ hotels) the worst staff ever - so rude it's unbelievable they DO NOT CLEAN YOUR ROOM AT ALL THEY DONT CHANGE BED SHEETS the water pressure is low butter stay at a bungalow then pay 8000 baht for this STAY AWAY!!!!!

We found boutique clean, tidy with no noise. We enjoyed the rooftop jacuzzi which is a great place to watch the sunset and star gazing. Note that this property is not directly on the beach but in a good location with 1 min walk to the beach and restaurants. We would recommend that the boutique could do with offering breakfast, pier pick up and laundry service and found check in / check out quite slow due to one person on reception

Terrible ownership and management! In the middle of the night at around 2 am some drunk guy on his scooter kept honking his horn not stop for about 20 minutes. After being woken up and listening to this consistent honking for about 20 minutes I went outside to talk to this group of about 18 year olds about stopping since they were waking up the entire neighborhood. As they left the owner came out accused me of being the one to make the disruption while shining his bright high beam flashlight in my face and then proceed to take our 2,000 baht deposit blaming us for the disruption. Extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I would highly recommend staying away from this place.

The property location is amazing but the housekeeping staff needs to learn some manners…they cannot be super rude to guest…hospitality-0 Location and room -10 Need to buckle up if they need to survive!!!!

Location is 10/10, room is spacious with beach facing view and a gorgeous jacuzzi pool upstairs private one overlooking the beach. They do you have their reception but not a proper desk for query after 6pm. I've come across a very rude and extremely unapologetic housekeeping staff and the manager in here, so peeps if you're staying here get set ready to face one of these especially if you've a request of getting your room cleaned early or for an exchange of towels. Otherwise room and location is to vouch for.

A wonderfully arranged air conditioned apartment with a rooftop pool/lounge area and practically on the beach, close to everything you need (massage salons, restaurants, walking street, shopping, taxis, supermarket, bank machines). The staff was great, especially Chi who helped us out with everything from the welcome tour, through booking boat tickets to some last-minute printing we needed. The room was cleaned every day. Excellent!

The suite is amazing, modern, clean and quiet. Located in Koh Tao’s Main Street, full of restaurants, bars and shops. Cherry on top, the suites are not even 20 mt from the amazing beach. The staff is super diligent and kind, eager to assist you anytime promptly. Staying at this property makes our experience unique.
