The villa is beautiful and the staff is very helpful, it is close to the center as well to good restaurants and brunch places, I can only recommend this place🫶🏻

In awe from the minute we arrived at the villa! We were so impressed we had to pop a bubbly to celebrate finding this gem of a place. The villa is spotless, spacious, and the bathroom is unlike anything we've ever seen. The views from the private pool and deck are simply incredible. Guy has truly thought of everything you could possibly need - we were picked up from the pier, greeted on arrival, and given a full rundown of the amenities and services. They even had scooters available to rent directly from reception and recommended the best snorkelling spots on the island. We wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Amazing! Emily and Guy are great hosts and were always helpful throughout our stay. The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay and the view from the balcony is excellent. We also really enjoyed the privacy the accommodation offered as it feels like you’re hidden away in the jungle, despite only being a 15 minute walk to Sairee beach.

We had the most wonderful time during our stay in Koh Tao! The Place Luxury Boutique Villas exceeded all our expectations — from the warm welcome to the small thoughtful touches throughout our stay. Location was a bit tricky for us, but the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with a comfortable bed and a private pool overlooking the ocean — waking up to that view every morning was pure bliss! Overall -facilities were excellent, everything we needed for a quiet and relaxing island escape. Koh Tao itself is stunning, but the amazing hospitality here truly made it unforgettable. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our next visit! 🌴💙

Here is a simplified and more natural version of your review: I stayed four nights at The Place Luxury Boutique Villas in Koh Tao and really enjoyed it. The villas are small, comfortable, and each has its own private pool. It’s calm and surrounded by nature, but still close to Sairee Beach. Guy, who manages the place, was very helpful whenever I needed something or had questions. At the same time, he lets you have your privacy, so you can relax. I liked that they care about the environment with things like recycling and filtered water in the villa. There are menus for food delivery, and Guy can also help book local taxis. I would happily come back and stay here again!

We absolutely loved The Place. Guy has thought of everything. Towels for the beach, towels for the pool, wine, champagne- every amenity that you could think of and if you need something in addition which I can’t imagine -he would be able to get it for you. All of his recommendation regarding snorkeling and scuba da were spot on. He made things so very easy. It was fabulous to leave the beach and come cool off in the hills with a view in our own personal pool. In a place like Thailand it is hard to find all the amenities that some western travelers require and if that’s what you’re looking for this is The Place to find it. Gut’s hospitality is so genuine and was greatly appreciated.

We stayed in the honeymoon villa for our honeymoon and it was beautiful! Guy has thought of everything, he picked us up from the ferry, organised scooters for us, dropped us back. We could relax up in the villa and order meals to our room as well. We loved our stay! Highly recommend :)

Wow where do we even start, this is hands down one of the most beautiful accommodations we have ever stayed in throughout the world. The villas are extremely private, spacious, clean and well laid out. The decking and pool is perfect for chilling out on and the view is incredible. The bathroom in these villas is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Guy, the owner could no do enough for us, we got picked up from the ferry port and he checked us in and explained everything about the local area including recommendations of tours and local restaurants, we used the pizza delivery place he recommended when we arrived and it was delivered to the villa door within 30 minutes. We also used the scooters that you can rent directly from Guy at reception and it was so easy and reasonable rather than potentially getting ripped off somewhere else. Location of the villa is perfect as you are away from the noise of the local nightlife but only a 10/15 minute walk away. Please note that if you stay here you are in the jungle and within the wildlife, so expect to see geckos, lots of mosquitoes and various other insects and birds. This was explained to us on arrival and it does not bother us at all we actually prefer it, but some people may find this off putting. There is a mosquito net over the bed which we used and didn’t get bitten. Overall can’t fault it and we will definitely be returning! Thanks again for having us!

We had a great time staying at The Place for our honeymoon. The honeymoon room was brilliant, had more than enough amenities and the view from our pool was gorgeous. The service we received from Guy and the team was amazing. Everyone was super attentive and helped us arrange boat trips and scooters. We would definitely recommend staying here.

My wife and I spend five nights here. It was our third time at Koh Tao but our first time here. Great place to stay at. Highly recommended. Everything is arranged already for you before even realising you need it. And if there is anything - like with us a power blackout - Guy is right there to take care of any troubles; even in the middle of the night. Without a doubt worth a 5-star review. Our new go-to-place in Koh Tao.

The Place was everything we had hoped. After an amazing trip through Vietnam and Cambodia we needed a rest before travelling home and this bungalow was perfect. The height of luxury, we enjoyed the pool, the privacy, the view and the pure luxury and peace of the place. Guy was English (which helped us) and he was amazingly helpful. He had us picked up and dropped off at the pier and even booked our ferry tickets for us on a ferry that's was supposed to be full! The Place was the best hotel we have stopped at in the whole trip and we have stopped at loads.

The Place at Koh Tao is one of the most incredible beautiful place on the earth. Guy the owner is very helpful, and a great host. The room are incredibly clean and nice. There is kitchen stuff so you can make your own breakfast, and nice and good wines in the cooler. It’s one of the places in Thailand you most visit.

We had an amazing time at The Place! The villa and the view were absolutely stunning, and the owners were incredibly helpful. Such friendly people with great recommendations for food and activities. We would definitely come back – it was a fantastic experience from start to finish!

What a great place! Guy and Ksenia were welcoming and friendly. The villa is beautiful with an amazing jungle bathroom. Lovely views across the jungle to the sea. Close to Sairee town. The hosts were super helpful booking us snorkel trips, taxis, moped hire and our return ferry travel. The attention to detail in the villa is great - they have everything you need no more no less. Well equipped kitchen, well stocked and reasonably priced mini bar. Ksenia had lots of helpful recommendations for activities and places to eat. Lots of villa delivery options too if you just want to stay in and enjoy the lovely surroundings. The resort is eco friendly and lots of wildlife to watch. All in all after staying in about 8 other places on our trip to Thailand we think this place is the best.
