MRS Chryssana Beach Hotel

We stayed here with my mom for one night, and we were absolutely delighted with this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we knew it was special. The location is perfect—set in a peaceful village, just a one-minute walk to a wide, spacious beach with easy access to the water. The room was spotless, freshly renovated, and even smelled pleasant. We had a large balcony with a table, and everything was so clean that when we wiped the table, there wasn’t even a trace of dust. The attention to detail in the cleaning was truly impressive. The owner was wonderful to meet—so kind, welcoming, and generous. He treated us to fresh fruit and shared many helpful tips about the area, making our stay feel extra personal and warm. Breakfast was another highlight: homemade, delicious, and prepared with so much care. This hotel completely won us over—the location, the atmosphere, the hospitality, everything was perfect. We already dream of coming back and staying longer.

This was just the perfect holiday! If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place. It is extremely clean, good hot food and something different everyday! Staff are incredibly friendly, funny, helpful and just fabulous! Pool was cleaned everyday. Rooms have everything you need. Small and friendly. We visited when most children were still at school so really peaceful. This should become an adults only resort once again as it is perfect for couples. I think it once was for adults only. We visited Chania too which was such a pretty town. Special mention to Konstantina on the front desk. You're amazing! Thank you to you and all staff for making our holiday so good. We will return! If you want a quiet chilled holiday this hotel is perfect. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are very friendly and welcoming especially on reception nothing was a problem. There are plenty of sunbeds and parasols around the pool and gardens. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The garden areas are beautiful and well kept. Will definitely return.

We returned after 2 weeks on the 25th June. what a beautiful hotel this is with amazing friendly staff who cannot do enough for the guests, a big shout out to Dimitra who always had my Pina Colada ready at midday, Politimi who made my Mojhito's perfectly, Ippotratis who did both and Anastasia who was lovely and always smiling behind the bar. they work extremely hard flitting from the food to the bar everyday, all day and evening. To Katerina in reception who made sure everyone was looked after with a smile and to the hardworking cleaners, this is small family hotel and perfect. Very humble and helpful staff, very awesome breakfast.

This hotel is a 3 star. It stands up above many 3 star hotels. Being so small (47 rooms ) it obviously can’t stand up to the large hotels in some areas. Of course there is only one restaurant and one swimming pool! In every thing that concerned us it was very good. The rooms and public spaces were always clean. The pool areas were comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful even though we visited at the end of the season. So nice to find a small hotel. Suitable mainly for couples wanting a peaceful, comfortable holiday. Hire a car. There are beautiful places to visit.
