Unfortunately the hotel, despite its qualities such as cleanliness, facilities, good breakfast and location. The service is bad: they didn't clean our room during one of our stays and when we went to ask (there is no telephone in the room), the receptionist was extremely rude. Furthermore, an attendant is responsible for the entire check-in and bar queue, meaning it takes more than 1 hour to do so or request something. The hotel is brand new, but the air conditioning in our room didn't work either.

Frederick Port is very large and there are many hotel options. We have to go to the Boness Lake because of the previous itinerary. I can't figure out the location and choose it blindly, so it is about 1.7 kilometers away from the lively main street. There is a direct bus. The location of this hotel is not biased, the surrounding is a hotel, it is relatively large, and the service facilities are OK.
The breakfast style is very simple, 20 euros is not recommended, it is better to go out and drink coffee. Overall, the room comfort is good, the hotel location varies from person to person, the guests are foreigners.

A very unique hotel in Arbon. The room was spotlessly clean and of a good size. Bed was comfortable but the duvets were very heavy for summer. No air conditioning in bedrooms so was warm. A fan was provided but it was noisy and had a bright blue light when in use which I found disruptive to sleep. On arrival there were no staff to greet you which was strange and you only spoke to someone through an intercom to gain access. It felt odd! We met the owners at breakfast for the first time in the morning and they were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

A very good all round stay. Rooms were of a good size, with a good desk for working. Wifi reliable with good speed. Very good bathroom and everything was fresh &/or new and all working and clean. Only problem I (and a few of my colleagues in other rooms) experienced was that the AC was underpowered and I could not get the room to cool down enough, even after opening the window. Breakfast was good with boiled eggs, plenty of pastry, bread, yoghurt, cold meats and fruit options. Whilst the hotel foyer may appear dead most times, don't be fooled as there are usually bus tour groups that come in late and leave early and can make breakfast very busy. The staff were very friendly and helpful (with English and French language). Location is good too - on the edge of the shopping precinct, close to parkland and a number of restaurants and about 20mins walk from the train station. Would happily stay again.

This hotel is pretty good. There is a female clerk with an Asian face who hates the bad reviews. She looks impatient and dreadful. The other white people are very polite and friendly. The overall service level in Switzerland is still very good

The hotel is relatively near the Olma Messe (about 10 minutes on foot). This also means it is not near the centre of St Gallen. When I arrived, the staff was pretty unfriendly, telling me they were waiting on me to close, even though I arrived more then 1 hour before closing time of the reception... Nevertheless, the room was comfortable and clean. There is a train line juste next to the hotel. With a room on the 4th floor and a closed window, I was not bothered by it during my sleep. The breakfast in the morning was good. All in all, this is a nice place to stay if you want to access the Messe easily.

The Valhalla Hotel is the best accommodation choice to St Gallen, just opposite the exit of the train station and a minute walk with large luggage. Compared with other hotels in Switzerland, the room is very large, the decoration is comfortable, the elevator is spacious, the breakfast is quite good, the service attitude is very good, but unfortunately, I booked it for one day, and the next day I had to move to a hotel starting with M next to it. I immediately regretted why I didn’t set it for two days. Because the contrast is too big. I highly recommend everyone to come to St. Gallen to stay at the Valhalla Hotel, the price is very high, and it can be said that you live next to the train station the only choice! Not one of them!

The style of the hotel is modern, the appearance is unremarkable, the hotel is very clean, the bathroom is very good, the decoration of the room is very general, even a bit ugly, especially the curtains. But the important thing is to have air-conditioning. For those traveling to Switzerland at the end of June, air-conditioning is so important. Most hotels in Switzerland do not have air-conditioning. (35 degrees lasts until nine o'clock in the evening, indoors are usually hotter than outdoors.) The breakfast is quite satisfactory and acceptable. But there is no sense of being served by the waiter at all.

Compare with the other hotels we stayed while in Germany it was a really small room, but clean, and comfy bed. It is quite far from the city center, and you have to pay extra for the car park. Doesn't have a restaurant, but offers breakfast, but we felt it over priced, so we had breakfast in the town. Have air con in the room. Great hotel if you just want to sleep after a long, busy day. Cheaper than any other hotels we stayed in south Germany.

GGuest UserThe room is very new, new hotel, you can cook things. The location is relatively biased, there is a bus at the door to enter the city, which is convenient. The service is relatively poor and it is not cleaned during the continuous stay. The project was done poorly, and the wire connector was not repaired.
LLizG2002My goodness - I literally cannot praise this hotel enough. From our arrival we felt so welcome and at home. All of the staff were amazing, so friendly and let me try out my rusty German on them, helping me along the way. All had smiles and greetings whenever we saw them, like old friends! The hotel receptand breakfast room is located on floor 8 (the top floor) and wow the views up there and on the roof terrace were incredible! You can also use the breakfast room to sit in in the evening, so on a sunny evening it's well worth it. Views are over the south of Konstanz, over the lake and overlooking Switzerland. We stayed in one of the family rooms on our 7. The room had bunkbeds, a little tank and chairs for younger kids, a sofa bed and double bed in the adjoining room with a spacious bathroom and a balcony with views over the gorgeous houses and the lake. We only had one chair on the balcony it I'm sure of we had asked Wes have been given another one. The room was light, clean and also had a minibar where we kept our Swiss chocolates! The breakfast was wonderful, typical continental breakfast with tea and coffee or hot chocolate. Lots of variety, organic produce and no limit to how much to enjoy. The hotel is located a stones throw from the Lago shopping complex, the train station, a children's funfair and the Sealife centre. Also a short walk to the boats, the Munster and Rosgarten Museum as well as a wealth of amazing cafes and restaurants. When annkng another short break to Konstanz I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again.
GGuest UserThe hotel was very friendly and helpful, although the reservation of Trip.com was not deposited in the hotel.
The breakfast room is structureally optimized. There are too many unnecessary ways and steps required by the staff. However, the staff is very endeavoured and engaged in ”building out” the missing or wrong structure.
Located in new area on nth side river. Easy to get to on bus from train station. 20 minute walk to city center (as long as you don’t get run over by an e- bike). Shopping center across street. Free bus pass for period of our stay was an unexpected and valuable extra. Business style hotel with nice decent sized rooms, AC, good breakfast. If it had mini-fridge and in room coffee this would be a 5 star. Staff very professional. They recommended renting a bike from Zweirad Wagenknecht where we got bikes for lovely ride on bike path from hotel to Insel Reichenau.
OOKOLYTThe hotel was the start and destination of an 8-day bike trip. It is in an old casino, therefore not very attractive. After-lift very primitive but functional. Large rooms with kitchen. Small breakfast, no restaurant. Location to the Rhine about 1500 m was somewhat ok. When we were just 1 week through Switzerland we received a call that last night we weren't going to be taken up because our homeland became a hot spot in the meantime. But that we haven't been home for a week, nobody is interested. We had to cancel the trip one day before and let our luggage to the hotel/car make by expensive special courier. Not very professional.
The two of us had a family room on the 5th floor, and the room was fine; the only unusual thing to us was that there were no kettle or cups in the room. However, there was unlimited hot water available from the lobby. Although our room overlooked a highway, there was no traffic noise to be heard (with the windows closed) The stay included a Bodenseecard West for the two of us which gave free access to local transport, and there is a handy bus (number 6 - four buses an hour during work time on weekdays; fewer in the evenings / weekends - schedule posted in the lobby) which runs from two bus stops near the hotel to the centre of Konstanz (including the main train station). Copious breakfast available.
BbastiontourWe were at the hotel for a week and had a room at the seaside. At the overall review I really do trouble. The hotel itself has actually come a little in the years. The rooms are partly very different. Some have still tape, others already laminated. Also the bathrooms are very different. Our room was a little more modern and clean. In principle there are rooms in all 4 directions of heaven. Of course, those to the lake are more expensive, but it's worth it. Although the ferry is just next to it, you don't get anything from it and we haven't been looking for any night disturbances. Ideally, you also book HP for it, because in the closer environment there are few ways to eat. It is very comfortable to go to dinner in the hotel right now, in the current situation. This is really delicious and consists of pre-food, main meal and dessert. The breakfast is not special now, but sufficient and something for every taste there. Really super is the location. All important destinations can be reached quickly. From the hotel you get a ticket for the bus to constant. This starts all 10-15 minutes directly before the hotel - even until late night. Otherwise, Meersburg, Mainau, Zurich or sheep houses are well and quickly accessible. Thanks to good bike road networks, many goals are also easy to reach by bike. The staff was very nice and premature everywhere, whether at the reception or in the restaurant. Conclude: For the hotel itself I would only give 3 points. This is the average of the costs for my taste too. But it is probably just in the area. Outside it has service, food and location.
GGuest UserHotel is ideally located near old town and the harbor. Bus for our group could park briefly outside to unload, and then go off to the larger parking area west, ca. 600 yards. The lobby is very narrow, and there are no ramps outside and inside. Elevator works well. We had the advantage of staying in the attic, 4th floor, and the room was really nice, large, with AC working well. There was a small fridge, and a flat tv. Nice bathroom (no tub), with a skylight. Celing sloping, with exposed wooden beams, but one of us hit the head, so be careful. Floor was a bit sloping. The other rooms had no AC, only fans. Poor. Breakfast room is superb, with a great terrace. Nice range of foods, warm and cold, juices, coffee, etc. We needed a room for meetings and could use it in the afternoon.
