This place served as an expensive pit stop stay for us - thanks for the hot water and room but everything else janky. They win with their location (private beach , next to the marina , next to a decent bar ) but fail at all else. Their hospitality was the worst - a bunch of non - Palauans at the desk . Rude and not welcoming at all. Talked about us in Tagalog - surprise ! I knew what you were saying. Charges you every chance they get . Food was edible but nothing special. And my all time favorite ? Giving us a ride to the airport knowing damn well it was closed (yes the airport closes). Needless to say I won't be coming back.

We stayed at this hotel 5 days before our dive tour. They have a wonderful little beach and we enjoyed snorkeling there everyday. Surprisingly there were many baby fish, large clams, a wreck ,sea turtles and even a sea snake. The rooms are large and the staff is wonderful. The breakfast is very limited and we ate out for lunch and dinner. There are a couple really good restaurants nearby as well as convenient stores. I highly recommend staying here as an affordable option before your tours. Also a great place to snorkel!

Great little beach and would be a decent mid-range hotel. But I cannot see any justification for keeping a poor bird chained by the foot in reception. That bird is suppose to be out in the wild; it now spends its whole life chained in a sterile reception. It’s unspeakably cruel. The hotel caters mainly to Asians who love to take photos with the bird. That’s the real reason it is there and in a country like Palau - which is all about the natural world - such a sight is so awful. The bird may have been injured but that’s no reason to keep it captive! Most birds can grow new flight feathers and adapt remarkably well even with injuries. The hotel should stick to hospitality and not engage in animal abuse - which this is, sadly. I know they will claim they are helping; they aren’t. Set it free.

It has been our second trip to Palau and against we choose Sea passion hotel for our stay - rooms are big and very comfortable with a big bathroom, excellent breakfast ( buffet) and good food in the restaurant, all staff very friendly and polite, rooms are very clean, and Sea passion has a very nice little beach - I highly recommend Sea passion for a stay in Palau ! thx to the team ! Staff, most of whom were from the Philippines, are excellent, but the beautiful bird chained in the lobby is awful! PLEASE FREE THE BIRD!! Rating would be Excellent if not for the BIRD!! The BIRD chained in the lobby is disgraceful and should be freed. Bad business and bad for business. Will not stay there again if the bird or any other wildlife is used to entertain.

The caged bird sings with a fearful trill of things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard on the distant hill for the caged bird sings of freedom. The free bird thinks of another breeze and the trade winds soft through the sighing trees and the fat worms waiting on a dawn bright lawn and he names the sky his own. But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing. The caged bird sings with a fearful trill of things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard on the distant hill for the caged bird sings of freedom.

I experienced excellent and efficient customer serivce from the staff at Sea Passion Hotel. I was booked to travel to Palau to attend a Conference and had to cancel at the last minute, albeit with good reason. The management at Sea Passion Hotel were both gracious and understanding and cancelled my reservation at no charge. Addionally I was very impressed by the prompt responses to messages throughout the reservation process. The reservations team provided information and offered assistance to facilitate airport transfers and logistics at the time of booking. I would like to convey my sincerest appreciation and thanks to the management and staff. I also would like to commend them for promptly responding to my messages and the kind courtesies extended. I had colleagues who booked at another hotel in the area 'West Plaza' who did not experience good service or facilitation. I highly recommend Sea Passion Hotel and can't wait to visit when next I travel to Palau! A heartfelt Thank You!

Very good hotel, with a wonderful private beach, kayaking, snorkeling, the seabed is very wonderful, although the room facilities are a bit old, but the private beach snorkeling is definitely worth the price
