Oh my God this hotel was one of the nicest hotels I ever frequented. Right from the beginning to the end everything and everyone was amazing. Our lovely porter Mr P was so lovely and chatty and remembered our names all through the week. Nana the experience manager was so lovely and helpful as well as the receptionists. All the waiting staff in the bars and restaurants were lovely. Staff in the restaurant are completely on the ball. What can I say about the food well its just top class and the variety is superb. Wine is of a very high quality as well as the beers and gorgeous cocktails. We went all inclusive and I would highly recommend it. If you miss breakfast you can have lovely fruit and snacks down by the pool . The coffee is amazing and staff ate really friendly too. I really enjoyed the water aerobics at 12pm. Its lovely to sit and watch the sunset while having pre dinner drinks. The only thing was I was sorry we didn't book a sea view room but will the next time. I also loved the beach and the lady serving behind the little cute bar was so lovely. Well done everyone for doing a great job.

Where do I start? If I had to describe the Michelangelo in one word, it would be impossible. Luxury, quality, relaxing, welcoming, spotless, gastronomy, comfortable, spectacular views, the best pool in Greece! There are too many positives and no negatives. The staff are wonderful. The location is spectacular. The rooms are so clean and comfortable. The food was outstanding in both the main buffet restaurant and both a la carte restaurants. We were there for the last week of the season which happened to coincide with half term week in the UK and so the hotel was not very crowed at all - it was very quiet but this made our stay even more special. The cocktails were amazing- excellent quality unlike some hotels offering cocktails on the All Inclusive package. I cannot recommend this hotel more. It really was exceptional.

The Hotel is situated in a fairly remote location but there is a bus that runs to Kos town regularly and the island is relatively small so if a hire car is your thing then location isn't an issue. We went for a 7 day chill out with our 15 year old daughter and we got just that, the food and drinks offerings in All Inclusive was to a very high standard, our room was adequately sized for the 3 of us and well maintained, good shower and tea, coffee machine etc. The staff were all excellent, very friendly without being overbearing, and nothing was ever an issue. The pool setting is stunning, but in October, the water is cold, I didn't mind that as the weather is pleasant and warm rather than stifling hot at the time of year we visited. The hotel has its quirks like the goats wandering through the grounds every now and then, which I found funny. Evening entertainment was limited but was OK from what we saw, the hotel isn't geared up to a late night party crowd. There was a choice of comfy sun loungers when we visited, and the pool bar and snack bar were close by. If you are looking for a high quality laid back holiday then Michelangelo is definitely up there.

Joanna Ermelind Xrysa are some of the best people I’ve met on any holiday, treating you with respect and patience, in the main bar or pool bar. The service is second to none, from reception to the cleaners and everything in between, just to clarify I respect all staff the same, as we all should. Rooms, food, pools and drinks, all top class. The staff are beautiful and patience, even with ****** like me. ❤️❤️❤️

Had a nice visit to this hotel, however we felt it missed the touches that makes a 5* hotel. We were all inclusive and found the lack of snack options available an issue and sometimes felt like we’re eating for the sake of it rather than out of enjoyment. We found we used the pool closer to reception as opposed to the infinity pool as it was more spacious and never struggled to get a sunbed. Our favourite part of the resort was the beach and crystal clear water. The lady at the beach bar was also lovely and very friendly. Some other staff I felt lacked proper training and the general management of the hotel could be improved.

We stayed at Michelangelo for one week. We had a premium seafront room, and I would definitely recommend this! The view is amazing! The hotel is clean and set in the most beautiful location. The pools and amenities around the hotel are great. The staff were all fantastic and very supportive towards our daughter, who is autistic and non-verbal. Food in the buffet restaurant was good and we could always get a table in the restaurant, without any wait, My only criticism would be the standard of the cocktails and wine, which were not great. That said, there are plenty of other drink options available! I would recommend this hotel, if you are looking for a relaxing holiday.

We stayed here for a week and had a lovely time. The staff are all lovely, very friendly in every part of the hotel. The view from the infinity pool is absolutely stunning. Such beautiful surroundings. The room was clean and tidy with a lovely sea view. The shower in our room wasn’t very good - poor pressure when the temperature was turned up. And in the evening could only get a cold shower. Unsure why as the smaller handheld shower head had hot water. The safe in our room also wasn’t working as it said low battery but that didn’t matter. The Mediterranean restaurant breakfast was lovely as was the evening meal there - both included once in your stay. Amazing fresh seafood and huge portions! The lunch there by the pool isn’t the best though - much better in the main restaurant. The Asian restaurant was also excellent - freshly made sushi and other dishes. Breakfast had a good variety - being picky when comparing to other 5 star resorts - no omelette station. But again this is only minor detail. Coffees were good! Cocktails in the bar were very good and freshly made. There is a bus stop just outside the entrance - €2pp into Kos town - takes about 20 mins and is really regular which was great. Overall a lovely week away. Thank you!

Spent 1 week here with the husband and 2 teenage sons and it was incredibly relaxing considering it's a hotel full of guests! The best bit for me was the stunning views over the pool and sea, and all from the most comfortable sunbeds I've ever had on a holiday. The hotel is clean, staff are friendly & competent, food and drinks are good. If you want a week round a pool in the sun, their infinity pool is the one to be at. You did need to bag your sunbed before 9am, but a few become free throughout the day and there are other pools and a beach with plenty of beds. We only left the hotel once - hopped on the bus for 2 euro's into Kos Town. Well worth a visit. Husband enjoyed snorkelling every day, and you could actually see a bit of the sea from our "non-sea view" room which was a bonus. What could be better? - Only water was provided in room mini-fridges, would expect at least a few options in there. - A couple of times it I'd almost finished my lunch before our drinks arrived. But on the whole we loved our time here. Thankyou Michelangelo Resort and Spa!

We just got back from a one week vacation in Michelangelo Resort & Spa. It is a luxurious beachfront resort, where a high level of service meets genuine Greek nature. We spent most of the time at the hotel's private beach, swimming in the crystal clear water and we really enjoyed it. It isn't too crowded and it is very relaxing to spend time there. There is a nice beach bar with refreshing drinks where Alina does a really good job. The hotel also has an infinity pool with stunning views, a pool with waterfalls and the wellness pool. For the very young children there is a playground and children's pool. Rooms are modern, comfortable and spacious with all necessary amenities. Premium beachfront rooms offer a really amazing view of the Aegean sea. The food was fresh and delicious, mostly Mediterranean and we loved it. Everyday there was a variety of meat, fish and vegan dishes, with many fruit and dessert choices. They also serve gluten free and lactose free meals and drinks, so the hotel is an ideal choice for anyone with any allergies or food intolerances. There is an option to eat in the a la carte restaurant Mediterraneo or Soya Asian restaurant, for which you need to make a reservation beforehand. In bars they serve the best Illy espresso and a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. They serve all drinks straight from the bottle, instead of using a pipe for all drinks (like in other hotels), which is much better. I would like to thank Anastasia and all the other staff for everything they did and especially thank the General Manager Mr Kastanakis, who took all our requests into consideration and made sure our stay was amazing. I highly recommend the hotel to everyone, we will definitely be back next year.

We have just arrived home after our week’s stay. We stayed in room 1243 and had a lovely view out to sea! Pros- The views from the hotel and pool are stunning, obviously what draws us all to the hotel and it’s definitely worth it! Main pool is huge - it’s freezing but it was refreshing. The hotel itself is also lovely throughout. The rooms are spacious, modern and have big comfy beds! Bar staff in the main bar were always attentive and asking what drinks what we would like as soon as they saw us with empty glasses. Food was good, with plenty of options throughout with different themed evenings. They even cooked me something separate when asked! Cons- No air-con in the main restaurant meaning you were always very warm which isn’t ideal when eating. Service in the main restaurant was so so slow, sometimes we would be waiting quite a while for someone to take our drinks order, it took them a long time to clear away plates. It seems that they need more staff to be able to cope with the demand. The suns beds are very close together around the main pool. Lots of stairs for those who may struggle with getting around. It was constantly very windy for the whole duration of our stay - to no fault of the hotel of course however the wind constantly whizzed outside our hotel door, to the point where sometimes it was hard to get to sleep because it was that loud! I think the door seals may need to be improved to prevent this, especially since it is in such a windy area. Bus into Kos town is easy to use and really cheap but can be extremely busy. I wouldn’t bother with taxi’s because we waited 45 minutes for one to take us into town and then had to wait 30 mins for one to take us back to the hotel- it seems there aren’t many taxi’s in Kos town! The transfer to and from the hotel with Tui is extremely long due to how many drop offs there is, it took us around 1 hour 40+ each way, going you are the last drop off and coming back you are the first so you are on the coach a long time. Overall we had a lovely holiday with glorious weather the whole time - just a few things that need attending to, to improve the standard of the hotel and for it to be of value for money.

We arrived in the early hours due to a late flight and upon arrival we were told there was food in the room. We get to our room and a couple of pieces of fruit and 2 sandwiches (which we couldn’t eat) so it was a good job we bought food as a back up. The room was lovely and clean, we had paid for a premium sea view and technically you could see the sea but as we were on the bottom/lowest level, the views weren’t the spectacular ones we had imagined if you were on a higher floor. It’s worth bearing in mind that there are ALOT of steps. Our room was situated near the pool so having to go to the main restaurant or reception or to exit the hotel was always a workout which in the heat and being pregnant wasn’t the most enjoyable. The pools are as amazing as they look from the photos however at the beginning of our stay we struggled to get a sun bed and soon realised after talking to other people that you needed to arrive there at 6/7am to get a spot which was quite ridiculous on your holiday as this is 4/5am UK time! The main restaurant is pleasant and as the indoor is large, we always managed to sit in a different spot, combined with outside so it didn’t feel ‘samey’. In terms of the food, please serve more vegan friendly options, with having a milk allergy and being vegetarian I tend to stick to these and there was minimal offering. They did always have the allergen signs on the hot food which was great and super helpful, However the salads were nice but these and not all foods had the labelling so was safer to avoid. The chef was available to chat to and was thorough when needed. You also get a chance if you’re staying 7 nights or more to visit 2 restaurants; Mediterranean and an Asian one in the evening and the Mediterranean one for a champagne breakfast but I’d recommend booking as soon as you arrive as otherwise there isn’t availability which meant we missed out on the Asian restaurant dinner. The 5 course meal at the Mediterranean restaurant was amazing, we were so full afterwards! There are so many choices and they cater for the majority if not all dietary requirements and allergies. The breakfast is brilliant too, so much food! The mini market (onsite shop) is quite small and expensive and therefore doesn’t have all the things you’d need which you’d of expected in such a remote hotel, the staff member was also not the friendliest or helpful. It is a bit out the way with no other restaurants or amenities nearby. We got the bus into Kos town which was €1.60 I think each for a single journey as the taxis didn’t seem to come out this way but the schedule is very sporadic. A taxi back was €17 euros. The staff were mostly helpful, some a little more than others and some didn’t seem to want to help and made comments in Greek to other staff members and for a customer service role you’d think they’d not be rude and unhelpful. If you’ve got a late flight, you have to check out at 11am but can book a courtesy/shower room for half an ho
