Positives:
We stayed in a Bungalow Family Room which was spacious, beautifully designed, and had a lovely outdoor area. It was quiet and peaceful. Towels were changed and bins emptied daily. The hotel is perfect for families with younger children (up to about 8 years old). We went with two boys (4 and 8), and they loved it. The two slides kept them entertained, and the beach bar was excellent—always cocktails and snacks available. There were plenty of sun loungers, especially on the beach, with no need to wake up early to reserve. That made the stay very relaxing. The entertainment team was great—friendly, not pushy, and always offering activities. They were amazing with children, and the mini disco was the best we’ve seen so far, with all the staff putting their heart into it. Evening entertainment suited all ages, and we especially enjoyed the beach party.
Negatives:
While most of the staff were lovely and smiley, the reception team was disappointing (except the lady who did our check in efficiently on the evening we arrived and explained everything). On several occasions when I asked questions, they seemed abrupt and in a hurry, even when no one else was waiting. The biggest drawback was the food. It really needs improvement and is the main reason for the lower rating. Most meats were dry, with little variety. Even simple dishes like Greek salad were below standard. The buffet was very pork-heavy, which made it difficult for us on some days since we don’t usually eat pork. Desserts were the worst part, mostly inedible, just cream and jelly-like options. The wine was also very low quality.
Another issue was cleanliness of the public bathrooms, especially those near the pool. They were not well maintained, and I even saw a cockroach in one of them. Our room also had these tiny worm like snakes (apparently harmless and called "blind snakes") We first thought it was one that lost her way but we ended up finding one or two everyday and getting them out. We did ask someone to come and sort it out, but they told us they were harmless and didn't do anything other than getting them out.
We love the sustainability concept and appreciate that they grow their own vegetables, but unfortunately, we didn’t see this reflected in the meals. It made us wonder if it might be a bit of a waste of time and money, since the menu didn’t seem to highlight those fresh, organic fruits and vegetables.
As a whole, we felt everything about the hotel except the food was great but on this basis, we wouldn't come again.
Response from Property: Dear Guest,Thank you for sharing such a detailed review of your recent stay with us. We are delighted to read that you and your family enjoyed your bungalow room, the relaxing atmosphere, and the many family-oriented facilities, especially the beach, the slides, and the entertainment team. It is wonderful to know that your children had such a memorable time, and that our mini disco and evening activities created happy holiday memories. We’re also pleased that you appreciated the sustainability initiatives we implement in our gardens — all produce from our fields is indeed provided daily to our chefs and used throughout the buffet, from fresh salads to cooked dishes, something that many of our guests value as a unique part of their stay with us.Regarding your comments on the food and certain service aspects, please rest assured that your feedback has been shared with the relevant teams. The majority of our guests praise both the friendliness of our staff and the variety of our menus, so we are sorry to hear that this was not your impression. Our culinary and service teams continuously review guest suggestions to enhance the dining experience and overall service. As for the garden wildlife occasionally spotted around the rooms, our location in a natural environment by the fields and the beach sometimes brings harmless native species closer to the premises. While completely safe, our housekeeping and maintenance teams remain on hand to ensure the comfort of our guests in such rare instances. We appreciate your comments and the time taken to share them. While we are happy you enjoyed many aspects of your holiday, we sincerely hope to welcome you again in the future for an even more enjoyable stay.Kind regards,George SkoufoglouHotel Manager& the Casa Paradiso Team

We love Grecotel and this was our second stay in one of the hotels. We choose Kos island to explore new part of beautiful Greece and were very satisfied with the stay. Overall hotel area is nice, calm and clean. We like the whole concept where the building were surrounded by growing vegetables. Staff in main building was really so helpful and smiling all day. Our room was in the one of the bungalovs and we were upgraded to big family room with 4 spacious rooms and 2 bathrooms which was really great. This room was perfectly located (r. nr 501) near beach pool, also not far from main building. It was calm, equiped with hair drier, clima in each room and comfy beds. No ants, no mosquitos-but there was electric Raid if necessary. The room was cleaned every day, new towels were changed daily and also water bottles available new daily. Food was plentiful, lots of fresh vegetables and also traditional greek dishes, also some kids meals always available (fries / pancakes/ pasta / pizza) and have to say, the pizza was sooo tasty. Also grilled offer and lots of sweet cakes/desserts served every day. We also like beach bar by the pool for sandwiches or waffels and icecream. My kids liked pool with waterslides, as well as a nice long beach. There was part with a sand on the left and other more rocky on the right where some fishes could be seen. But shoes not needed. The sea was clean, some days with bigger waves. No reservation of sunbeds should be done in the pool area but visitors don’t really accept - recommended to ad some sunbeds more or a new pool to be built to have more space for this kind of people. However the beach is really close and there were lots of free sunbeds whole day, so no problem to be a while in the sea and then have some fun by the pool while you stay on beach-sunbed. We really like the no-waste concept of the hotel, one thing for improvement was the usage of paper cups for drinks. I personally would prefer re-usable plastic cups, as it is common in other Grecotel hotels. Just one last recommendation for improvemet should be to the shower water ballance-it was so hard to get right water temperature, either it was really hot or cold, something between was really hard to achieve that this was really upsetting to see all the water flow away. Probably it could be a problem of the room but recommend to fix this for future guests, if possible.

Response from Property: Dear Mrs, Lenka It was a real pleasure to read your detailed review and to see how much you and your family enjoyed your stay with us. We are delighted that you chose Grecotel again and this time discovered the beauty of Kos with us. Your kind words about the cleanliness of the resort, the friendliness of our staff, and the comfort of your upgraded family room are very much appreciated. We are happy to know that the location near the beach and pool suited you well and that the daily service from our housekeeping team met your expectations. We are also pleased that both you and your children enjoyed the variety of food options, from Greek specialties to the kids’ favorites, and that the pizza and desserts left such a good impression. It is wonderful to hear that the beach, slides, and pool facilities brought joy to your family’s holiday. Your constructive feedback regarding sunbeds, reusable cups, and the shower temperature is very valuable to us. Please rest assured we take such comments seriously and share them with the respective departments, as they help us to improve the experience for all future guests. Thank you once again for taking the time to share your thoughts in such detail. We truly hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you and your family back to Grecotel in the future. We spent five days here in September and honestly, I cannot even put into words how amazing everything was. As we had read a few pretty poor reviews, we went in really open minded and truthfully, I can sincerely say that the negative reviews are a load of rubbish. Arrival: We were met with an incredibly warm welcome, as well as some welcome drinks in reception whilst we checked in. Everything went smoothly and we were allowed to go at our own pace, which was perfect as we'd spent the last several hours either driving or flying! Rooms: I believe I had initially booked a room in the main building, however when we got there, we were directed towards one of the bungalows close to the restaurant. This ended up being more than ideal as it allowed a quick walk to the shop and restaurant and a pleasant stroll over to the pool by the beach. It was just myself, my husband and our (almost) 1 and a half year old daughter on this holiday, but we were given a bungalow with one main room and a spare room leading off of it. This was perfect for us as it allowed us to put our toddler to sleep without feeling pressured to stay quiet in our room. The bathroom was modern and so beyond clean. We were also greeted with a bottle of prosecco, red wine in our room and petals all over the bed (it was our honeymoon). I cannot thank you enough for making this feel so special. We don't get the chance to travel often due to work and home commitments, so this made everything even better. We did have a few ants, but nothing to complain about. Its the price you pay when you stay on ground floor level, especially when you're surrounded by such beautiful gardens, which you can really see how much effort has gone into these, and how much development is already being undertaken. Food: Most importantly, the food was lovely. You had a good mix of cultures and cuisines each day and everything was fresh and tasty. The salad bar had the typical veg, continental meats, potato salads etc. There was pasta and pizza each night- the spicy penne was a personal fav. Then you had the more traditional Greek section where there was an abundance of Aubergine, potato and meat options. The dessert bar was brilliant, lots of cheesecake style puddings, fresh fruit and cakes. In the evening, the outside barbecue had plenty of selection, we particularly enjoyed the kebabs, burgers and grilled fish. Also a special shoutout to the garlic mushroom risotto, it was a 10/10. I am unsure why there have been so many negative reviews about the breakfast options? There was a full English selection outside, as well as your fresh fruits, meats, cereal and pastries inside- all of which were fab. Lunch, we cannot comment on as much as we spent many lunches by the pool nearest to the beach, however all of the street food style bites we had here were to die for. The gyros and hot dogs were out of this world level good. The lunches that we did have in the main restaurant were tasty and always different to the e

Response from Property: Dear Guest, Reading your review honestly put the biggest smile on all of our faces thank you so much for taking the time to write it in such detail. It means a great deal to us, especially knowing you had read a few of the less flattering comments before arriving. To hear that your own experience turned out to be “the best family holiday you’ve ever had” is really quite special for the whole team here. I’m delighted the bungalow set-up worked well for you and gave you that little bit of extra space and peace of mind with your daughter’s bedtime it’s exactly the sort of thing we hope makes a difference for young families. And of course, I’m thrilled that you felt your honeymoon was celebrated properly; small touches like petals and a bottle of prosecco are our way of saying welcome and congratulations. Your comments on the food are also much appreciated. Our chefs will be particularly pleased to hear about the risotto and the barbecue, and I think they’ll take even greater pride in knowing that the variety came through. It’s true that breakfast seems to divide opinions, so your description will be a comfort to the team who work very hard on it every morning. Thank you as well for recognising so many of the staff by role and in particular for your kind words about Konstantinos. He’ll be over the moon to know he made such an impression on little Lucy (and on you both too). It’s those personal connections that make this place what it is. We do, of course, take note of all feedback, good and bad, but I must say your attitude really shines through. You’re absolutely right no resort in the world can promise zero queues, but the way you’ve looked at it is exactly the way we hope our guests see things: relax, enjoy the moment, and let us do the rest. From all of us at Casa Paradiso, thank you again for trusting us with such an important family holiday. It would be a pleasure to welcome you back whenever the chance arises and we’ll make sure it’s just as memorable the next time. Warm regards, George Skoufoglou Hotel Manager Grecotel Casa Paradiso

We have just come back from a weeks stay in this hotel. Like some comments on here, and also from talking to other guests whilst we were there, we were worried about our choice of hotel after reading some bad reviews. Honestly, our experience was almost faultless. I will really have to clutch at straws to find some small negatives. This was our main negative. When we first got to the hotel we were offered a drink and a sit down in the main reception. There seemed to be a lot of faffing around and no one was sure what was happening. We did the express check in on the app before arriving which seemed pointless. We were then told that the lunch buffet closed at 2.30, and to go and have lunch. My son was desperate to get in the pool so we said we’d prefer to check in, to which we were told again to go and have lunch. Just tell us we can’t check in yet! Anyway, we had lunch and then checked in. On check in we were given lots of information - a map, when to book the a la carte (this was fine, we queued at 9.55am the next day at the restaurant entrance, then booked a table for the following evening. Easy), booking for tennis, entertainment, the WhatsApp group etc. Room - we were ‘upgraded’ from a field view to a sea view. We all know this happens when rooms aren’t ready/are over subscribed, but we weren’t complaining. We were in the main block in room 234. The air con was TOO good! We had to turn it right down/off at times. The room was ‘basic’ you could say, but had absolutely everything we needed, in full working order, no issues with the bathroom, good pressure on the shower, complimentary shampoo and body wash, towels changed regularly. If I had to be REALLY fussy, the pipe from the air con unit on the balcony didn’t quite fit in the drain away container and sometimes popped out so we’d have water on the balcony floor. We just popped the pipe back in. Sometimes you also got the bad drain smell from downstairs in the main area. It went away, was faint, barely bothered us especially as we were barely in the room anyway. Everything was clean, no ants issue, not bothered about if the furniture is dated (which it wasn’t really) or if the walls are bare. Food - I don’t know if our expectations are just lower than others (!!), and we haven’t been to all inclusive that have multiple restaurant options to choose from, only one or two, but we loved the food! Breakfast - yes, you could say it’s repetitive. But how many breakfast options can you change when they have it all everyday anyway. Meat, eggs (fried, boiled, omelette), tomato’s etc on the bbq outside, big cereal bar (including healthy cereals, sweet cereals, nuts, dried fruit, sunflower and chia seeds), 3 types of Greek yoghurts, pastries, pancakes, fruit, doughnut balls, cakes, tarts, salad (inc cheese, cured meats), fresh smoothies and fruit/cucumber waters, all the condiments you’d ever want, breads. We had lunch at the beach bar - gyros, burgers, hot dogs, wraps, baguettes, chips. All dece

We stayed here as a family during the peak month of Aug. We booked through Easyjet last year and had some trepidation as most of the photos seemed AI generated, and a general lack of information was available. I can report that we were pleasantly surprised and had an excellent time with helpful and accommodating staff on site. We were housed in the main hotel on the ground floor near to the restaurant and top pool. The room was fairly soacious consisting of two bedrooms and a bathroom. There was a free to use safe, fridge with bottled water, hairdryer, and toilletries provided. Our room wasn't a refurbished room as you will see in some photos, including the facebook group, but it was generally in good order. The only detractors were an ant problem which seemed to plauge the ground floor rooms of the hotel and a shower that seemed to drench the bathroom floor, luckily there is a drain in the floor to remove any excess water. The cleaners were prompt and efficient in the morning at 9 am sharp, so if you like a lie in make sure you leave your "do not disturb" card out. The only other thing to note was our hotel room was left open after the cleaners had visited on three occasions, this was possibly an iffy door lock but the patio door was also left open on one occasion. This could have been a security issue, but fortunately, anything of value was in the safe. Overall we were very happy with the room. The all-inclusive meals are provided at the main restaurant consisting of a small indoor seating area and a larger outdoor area. Most of the food is located indoors, including a fresh pizza section with a BBQ section outdoors. Food is varied and good quality with some of the salad items grown fresh in the grounds of the hotel. There is also an a la carte restaurant located down by the lower pool. You book your table the morning before and ques quickly, so make sure your prompt. Again the food was excellant at this restaurant with a number of choices on the menu to suit all pallates. Overall, there are no complaints from us on the food front. Drinks, however, are more of a mixed bag. A decent selection of local wines are available by the bottle / half bottle when the restaurant is open and by far my personal favourite. Beer is located from a self-service tap in the restaurant and bars located near both pools. The taps were inconsistsnt to say the least, sometimes they were perfect but more often they were either flat, over foamy or trickled out creting a fustrating experience, when it did work the Zorbas bear was quite good by all inclusive standards. Spirits were branded from what i could tell with sizeable portions, but cocktails were disappointing. There was an extensive menu with some glaring omissions such as 'sex on the beach'. However, the accommodating bar staff were more than happy to make on request. The problem is that all the cocktails seemed to miss the mark with the fruit juices seemingly watery, resulting in lacklustre cocktails lacking

We stayed at this hotel last week and I would Firstly like to say how well kept the grounds are! The workers that tend to the vegetables that all grown in amongst the apartments and guest areas are doing a fantastic job and that alone sets this hotel apart from the others. We arrived later than expected (5 mins before the dining area closes) and we were met by a wonderful lady on reception called Diana who made sure we ( a family of 4) were able to quickly get something to eat after a long day of travelling. She kindly offered to hold our luggage and documents while we ate. The Rooms were basic but very clean and turned over daily which was ideal! The option to connect your phone to the large TV with ease made life alot easier when trying to calm the children down before bed! The only criticism I would have about the room was the lack of fresh bottled water added to the fridge daily as we are expected to refill them from the various water stations dotted around the site. Great idea but when the room gets cleaned we found that everytime our bottles were throw away which meant we had to buy more from the mini market on the site. The main buffet area was busy but constantly being restocked so you weren't long in waiting for food. The only thing which I would would need addressing is the booking system for the A la carte restaurant as we tried every morning to book and were unsuccessful each day. The pool areas were well laid out we never seemed to miss out on somewhere to sit as there were ample seating everywhere. The queues for the crepe and ice cream bit at the beach bar were long because there was only one member of staff doing both stations. Another member of staff that made an impression on us was the guy making the crepes (Zahran I think his name was ) he made our daughters day with a personalised white chocolate crepe! We were greeted everyday by every member of staff with a smile and that alone made this a holiday to remember.
Response from Property: Dear Guest, Thank you so much for sharing your detailed and thoughtful feedback following your recent stay with us! It’s truly rewarding to hear how much you appreciated the well-kept grounds and the work of our gardening team the home-grown vegetables around the resort are indeed a special feature we’re proud of. We’re also delighted that Diana at the reception made such a great first impression and ensured your arrival was smooth and welcoming, even at a late hour. We’re glad you found the rooms clean and practical for your family’s needs, and especially pleased to know the in-room tech options helped create a more relaxed environment for your children. We do appreciate your comments regarding the bottled water and understand the inconvenience of needing to replace your own bottles after housekeeping service. Your point is well taken and will be passed along to the relevant team for review and improvement. It’s wonderful to hear your kind words about our team especially Zahran at the beach bar who clearly went the extra mile to create a memorable moment for your daughter! We believe it’s those personal touches that make a holiday truly special, and your experience perfectly reflects that. We thank you once again for choosing to stay with us and hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you and your family back for another relaxing stay in the near future. Had such an amazing stay-the beach was gorgeous and the pools were lovely. The food was okay although we just stuck to eating cheese and chips lol. The room however, wasn’t kept the cleanest after housekeeping had been in and we had an issue with ants in the bed but when you’ve had a drink you don’t mind too much! The best part of our stay was the bar staff-so friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond for us-especially Pavlos, Andreas and monolis (not 100% sure how to spell them haha) Enjoyed it so much we cried when we left x

Such a lovely hotel. We were welcomed in late at night and we were made to feel at home straight away. Throughout the week we stayed, all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy. The grounds were amazing. I love that near enough so the borders were filled with edible plants. The gardeners took great care. The fresh food was delicious. The selection of food and drinks was great. Good variety for vegetarians too. I cannot state how happy I was to stay here. All my family has fun and we can't wait to go back.

Genuinely one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. Great service, bar and waiting staff were great. Reception staff were really helpful, check in was flawless with welcome drinks and nibbles in the bar. Superb cocktails. Loads of stairs, but with lunch service near the pool they only have to be tackled twice a day. Beach was so relaxing .. apologies if my snoring upset anyone... honestly an aspirational holiday destination.

We have just returned home from a fabulous week at Casa Paradiso. Arrival - private transfer to hotel from airport was great. Flight was delayed so we missed dinner but we were given lemonade on arrival and informed about the snack served in pool bar 11.30pm There was soup, traditional greek pastries and wraps/sandwiches available. This was probably the worst food we had all week but still welcome after a long day traveling. Cocktails were fantastic. My husband used to work in hospitality and he was happy. Staff were able to answer our questions and took luggage to the room. We paid the 10 euros tax per night on check in. Room - we stayed in a field view family room in the main hotel. Room was clean. Bathroom had double sink and large bath with shower. The separate kids room had a bunk bed with large wardrobe side table and night light, with sliding doors - bonus. Main area had a comfortable king size bed, wardrobe with fridge and safe, TV, kettle, coffee making facilities and a balcony with small table and chairs a clothes drying rack. We had a birds nest on the balcony and after informing them of this, the mess was cleaned daily - not hotels fault, its nature. Room was cleaned daily and towels replenished. Air condition was working and easy to control. Baby equipment- we requested the travel cot - comfortable mattress with fresh sheet daily and a spare in case of accidents, the baby bouncer and baby baby bath all were free and in good condition. We paid 25 euros for a steriliser for the week. Food - we loved the food, but are used to traditional greek food. Breakfast had a range of fruits, yoghurts and toppings. They had warm croissants and danish pastries (mini) and fresh made loukamades. There was fresh bread and baguettes as well as bread to toast with jams honey and nutella etc. They also had traditional greek spanakopita, salads, feta, hams and cheese. They had a warm selection of sausages, bacon, eggs, beans etc outside in the grill. Coffee machine was bean to cup and fresh juices - same selections daily. Lunch/Dinner - always salad bar, lots of choices, they also always had spaghetti and bolognese/napoli sauce, pizza, chips breads and olives. The other options changed daily but on the grill we experienced things like grilled chicken, pork and fish, bifteki (like burgers) sausages, gyros there was always a version of orzo/rice/risotto, always an alternative pasta dish eg macaroni, chilli and peppers, salmon etc. and every day a selection of traditional greek foods. Huge desert choice - always ice cream and baklava, cheesecake flavours varied and trifle like desserts. WIne was available by the bottle, beer on tap and soft drinks machine for self service. Cocktails were fab and available at pool and main bar. There was often a queue but genuinely didn't wait more than 5 mins a time and didnt mind as always mixd fresh for you, not premade and they were happy to take requests Pools - main pool area had a large pool and a kids splash poo

I booked this place on November 2025, through Agoda because of the great reviews—big mistake. The studio sits over a restaurant, so noise and odors are constant. The place felt neglected: dust on the ceiling, burned-out kitchen light, no TV or internet, and a terrible smell from the bathroom drain. Only the light bulb was fixed. The worst part? A flashing building light hit my window from 1–5 a.m., forcing me to sleep on the couch. I paid over $973 + €45 city tax for a week—and it was a scam. I have videos, but this platform won’t let me upload them.

Hard to review this hotel. The staff were excellent apart from the one with the pony tail at the pool bar. Its a lovely hotel but in completely the wrong location for myself. its so isolated and has absolutely zero atmosphere and very few activities and entertainment was very poor and German biased. In case of inclement weather there is absolutely nothing to do at this hotel. You can get a bus into Kos town and stand up for an hour each way with people pushing in the ques - mainly German's in our experience as well as a lot of other Brits who stayed there I talked to) Food appeared nice on first look but it is basically the same every night. Fatty pork or chicken thighs. if all you want to do is sit by the pool or the beach then this hotel is for you. If you dont want to be bored to death and annoyed by rude guests then avoid at all costs.
Response from Property: Dear Mr. Richard, Thank you for taking the time to share your impressions following your recent stay at Casa Paradiso. We truly appreciate your kind words about our staff and the hotel’s overall setting. We are, however, very sorry to read that certain aspects of your visit did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the entertainment and food variety. Our aim is to provide a relaxing environment where families and couples alike can unwind, but we do understand that guests seeking a livelier atmosphere might prefer a different Grecotel resort. Regarding the entertainment, our activities team strives to create an international program suitable for guests of all backgrounds, and we regret that it did not feel that way during your stay. Your comments about menu rotation and atmosphere have been shared with the relevant departments for further review. We sincerely hope you will consider giving Grecotel another opportunity in the future, perhaps one of our more vibrant “Lux Me” resorts, which may better match your preferences. Kind regards, George Skoufoglou Hotel Manager & the Casa Paradiso Team

We have just returned from 9 nights at this gorgeous hotel. Its quite simply stunning and we cannot fault it. The grounds are amazing and just so pretty, the beach is a few steps away from the pool and is sandy with plenty of sunbeds. The pool bar and the pool near the slides were great fun. I travelled with a fussy 10 year old and he ate the most he has eaten on an all inclusive holiday. Plenty of options to cater for all tastes plus a BBQ section in the outside seating area. We had a problem with our room booking at first but within a few days this was sorted and we were upgraded to their biggest bungalow which was fantastic. The staff could not do enough to make up for the room booking mistake and went out of their way to ensure we were happy. We hired a car and explored the island but also spent many days in the pool and on the beach. It is in a very remote setting but we were aware of that before we went. We played tennis, played alot of Pool. There were other activities available but we chose not to take part. The street food in the pool bar by the slides was very tasty and available for a large part of the day, not to forget the waffles, crepes and ice cream. We did not have a problem at all with ants, found the food lovely and the accomodation was large and spacious with comfortable beds. Highly recommend this hotel to families and couples alike. We ate in the Al la carte one evening and they have a whats app messaging system that we found extremely convenient.

This is one of those rare places where the photos do not do the resort justice. When we arrived, we were greeted at the door with a lovely cool drink, and even though only one of our rooms was ready, we were able to use all facilities. The staff are unbelievably lovely. We have not met a single member of staff who did not smile or go out of their way to help. I would definitely recommend this resort to anybody. The only issue we had was one day of rain, but it October and being British it wasn’t a big deal! We had no problem at all with the food and even my picky daughter found enough to eat. We will definitely come back to this or another Grecotel hotel. Amazing place.

I visited this hotel in August 2025 with my husband and our two sons aged 14 and 9. We arrived just after midnight and everything was very quiet. We were shown to our room, 317 and immediately got settled. We were given some sandwiches, fruit, water and juice. I can honestly say this was absolutely the right hotel for us. The room was perfect, our boys shared the twin room which had sliding doors, meaning we were altogether, but we had our own space. Large patio doors from our double room out onto a patio area on the ground floor. We spent our days split between the pool with the two slides and the beautiful sandy beach (no water shoes needed, there aren't too many pebbles in the water). Our boys loved the slides, I'd wanted something like this, but not a great big water park. Sun beds are hard to come by, which meant we did reserve them with our towels in the morning, but it meant I could wander down and read my book alone on the bed for 20 minutes before we went off to breakfast, then return shortly after. We didn't join in many activities but my boys did play the organised football during the day on the grass by the pool, then again in the evenings at 8pm on the football pitch at the front of the hotel. We got the bus into Kos town which was straight forwards and easy to find, the reception showed us the timetable and explained where the bus stop was. The food is a sticking point... I loved the selection of salads and fruit, the yoghurt and tahini in the mornings. The pool bar offers lunch, but often it was warm rather than hot, similar to many of the dinner items in the evening, I feel maybe quantity (lots of options) over quality was the reason. My sons both found things they would eat and I must give the hotel a huge shout out for helping my youngest son find things that he could eat that didn't contain wheat. We just asked to be shown gluten free items and they went out of their way to accommodate that. I would definitely recommend the hotel, no high rise buildings, no rowdy bars, beautiful grounds and all very clean. I would love to go back, but with the prices having increased by £1000 for next summer holidays we might struggle, hopefully one day!
