Stayed at The Ilios K Resort 3rd-10th October, having read the reviews of previous guests we were a bit apprehensive as to what we would find. What we found was a very clean hotel with excellent food throughout our stay, all the staff were very professional and hard working. It was a bit on the quiet side regarding the number of guests due to being later on in the season so no real queues for drinks by the pool or at the bar in the evening. The lack of evening entertainment didn’t affect us at all. The room (416) was excellent, overlooking the main pool area, the whole place is very well laid out. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, the bus goes to Kos town and if you cross over the road it goes to Mamari. Will be booking another stay here for next year.

After having all of the UK flights cancelled and stuck in Kos for a further 8 days we decided to move hotels and found ilios, there were 16 of us and it was a little hectic with everyone rushing to sort themselves out so we just booked it not really knowing what we were getting. What a relief. they sent a mini bus to collect us from previous busy chaotic hotel , were so friendly and helpful . Hotel rooms where very clean and beds comfortable, the pools and outside areas where cleaned each morning and it shows the staff respect and love the place. Food was no bad at all and the free mini bus to the beach (or 10 min walk) was lovely. Beautiful white sandy beach with very comfy sun loungers and only 12 euros for the day. The hotel was just set back to the main ***** (full of lovely places to eat and drink) which meant it was quiet and calm but with only a short walk if you wanted entertainment or night life. Perfect place for the kids to be and we all felt very comfortable there. Its opened our eyes up to looking at smaller family run hotels in the future. Only a few downsides which to be honest I'm being picky. The alcohol drinks were not great unless you drink beer and the cocktails were not all that even though you had to pay extra for those (even paid for diet coke and tonic water), the cocktail lady was very scary! But large fridges in rooms so you could pop to supermarket around the corner and that was good enough for us. No evening entertainment but that's what i loved, after a hectic week in a large noisy hotel this extra stay was just what we needed and this hotel was perfect for our family. I would return if i wanted another chilled holiday.

Would have been five if not the woman in lounge were working. Extremely rude and not interested in being friendly at all. Dimitra in the lobby and Kai in the pool bar, some heroes 😘 I would definitely come back for the hospitality

Me and my partner stayed here for 7 days it was ok we had seen pervious reviews so we knew what we was walking into the alcohol times are ridiculous because it’s only 6pm till 11pm for cocktails and wine and beer until 6pm. And Ice cream only 3pm till 5pm which is bit silly they really should bring entertainment to the hotel I guess it would make it better being there. The food was very repetitive but like I said before we had seen that in previous reviews so we excepted that. We did end up eating out most nights and missing breakfast because there wasn’t a good choice for breakfast. The bad things about this hotel they hardly come and clean your room and when they do it’s like they change your sheets to old dirty sheets with loads of stains was very nasty! There is also a bus that takes you to kos town and they have times to show when it comes it did not turn up at the time stated we waited over an hour I left my partner there to go ask the lady what’s going on with the bus and she was rude and said it will take 5/10 or 15 minutes and it never arrive I forgot her name but she was rude quiet a few times she definitely needs better customer services skills. When you go just no you are not getting entertainment and except to eat out a lot because the food is not all good we had 1 good day out of 7 with the food the shops and beach are a nice 15minute walk which is ok but they need to do better when it comes to the drinks food and cleaning and ice cream and snacks. And ensuring they get the bus times to kos correctly over all if they make some changes I’ll be sure to return in the near future but I wouldn’t be taking my kids there not if there reusing dirty bed sheets! They need to change that for sure but if you go here go with a open mind because there is a lot of disappointment here. Also my partner went to get salad and there was a long strand of hair init and the fact the cats are aloud inside the restaurant while we eat and stare and basically beg is disgusting. Over all the pools are very nice.

We came to stay as a family the rooms are ok, but there is no entertainment in the day or evening that makes it very boring! The food isn’t good at all very limited for an all inclusive hotel. We ate out most nights as the food was terrible. Breakfast was cold and not much to choose from! I’m the day ice cream is from 3pm to 5pm! Snacks in the day are are a joke tiny pastry slices and tiny cheese sandwiches! Drinks during the day are wine and beer for alcohol only which is rubbish choice of two!! and soft drinks of course. Shop on site is so over priced! We won’t be returning that’s for sure. Also the pools has no life guard which is crazy to me.

This is a very low key family run 3* hotel. I travelled with Jet2 and stayed for 2 weeks starting the 15th Sept 2022. Bad Points....The food is very low key and uninteresting with very limited choice and if you were fussy you would go hungry. Sweets again very limited, Melon, Jelly (No icecream) and some cakes. Drinks....Again very limited only Red or White wine, Beer, Gin but no Tonic and soft drinks. Same again in the evening but with a different cocktail each evening no other spirits. Not much choice for being All Inclusive. One good thing about this was that you never see anybody drunk therefore you get a good nights sleep unless you have a room starting 400 then the cockerill will wake you up at 5am. I completly and utterly disagree with the Hotel allowing people to stay here with their dogs and let them take them into the dining restaurant. I saw on several occasions a lady taking scraps off her plate and giving it to her dog on the floor. Surely this is unhygenic and where is the Health and Safety rules? Only allowed 1 free ice cream a day. Do not hire the beach towel from the shop as it's a rip off. They charged me €40+€20 deposit (Yes €40) for 2 towel for 14 days. Allthough there is a kettle and 2 mugs in the room they do not supply any Tea, Coffee or milk so take your own. Very limited clothes hanging space. And I mean very small. They is no entertainment at this hotel. That's a shame because there is nothing to do unless you go to Tigaki. Good Points.... Arrived at 11:30 pm quick check in by 2 very helpful receptionists and given a pack which contained 2 apples, 2 sandwiches and 2 smaill bottles of water. We stayed in room 313 (Up stairs) which really is a 2 bedroom room with nice views overlooking the pool and a mountain backdrop. The 2 single beds were ok and so was the bathroom and shower (In the bath). Fresh towels every day and sheets changed every other day. The hotel was spotlessly clean and all the staff couldn't do enough for you. Special thanks to Anna and Dimitra on reception for all the help. The hotel was well spaced out and you could always get a sun bed around either of the 2 pools which were always cleaned every morning. The lady at the pool bar was very efficient and helpful. A limited selection of sandwiches and cakes were provided at 4 o'clock each day. The hotel position is rural and surrounded by farm land. A shuttle bus runs a few times a day to take you/ return you to the beach and Tingaki town which has a very nice sandy beach and lots of bars and restaurants, 2 Beach sunbeds with nice fat cushions and umbrella for €10 a day. The bus stop to Kos town is just outside the hotel and costs €2.1, definitely worth a visit. A must is the sunset tour to Kia in the mountains but book a table in a restaurant for a meal as it gets very busy. Would I come back to this hotel..... Yes, if they took onboard all the negatives and improved greatly on the food and drinks menus as you expect a lot more for an All Inclusive 3

We arrived at Illios Hotel on Sunday 25th July- myself and my partner and our one year old child visited Kos after being told about the area and having so much to do for children. When we arrived we were greeted by the most polite member of staff who compleltey made us feel at ease after such a stressful journey. When discussing things to do we were told the hotel is a silent peaceful hotel with no entertainment at all- this was something that instantly unsettled me as I’ve never ever been to a silent hotel before ever! We checked in our room was spotless, air con was a life saver as the humidity was so warm!! Food is also amazing I was extremely worried after reading the reviews but the food is stunning and we didn’t have any problem at all with the food or the service!! Little bit annoying that some evenings there was not enough q high chairs as we had a 1 year old- but this was soon fixed! The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure we had the best time it was such a shame they advertised a dj night on the Saturday and was told late Saturday evening it was cancelled. If this venue had entertainment and more to do I think it would be the ideal place! The bar staff were phenomenal- big thank you to the two ladies that work in the main bar who went above and beyond their job roles and made us feel so welcome up to our very last night!! The receptionist as pictured is a true asset to this hotel and was simply amazing, from knowledge on the area, to helping us with transfers, booking trips she did it all- and without this receptionist I think our stay here could have been very different. The shop on the Complex was also a life saver ordering in baby milk from their suppliers so we didn’t have to worry/ shop was cheap and affordable and staff here are also amazing!! Based on having no entertainment and having to go out of the resort every evening to find entertainment I personally would not return to this particular hotel as it didn’t fit what we wanted. However if you’re looking for a peaceful break I highly recommended it as it is stunning and the staff are amazing!! If they started entertainment I would definitely go back!!

Dimitra and all staff at the hotel went above and beyond during our stay. Room was brilliant and location of the hotel is ideal for a quiet break away with nightlife just a 15 min walk away. We had the opportunity for our 1st break with no children and it couldn't have gone any better. Food was great, plenty of options, nightlife was quiet which is what we were looking for to be fair.

On arriving at the hotel we were checked in and had to pay room tax of €21 plus an extra€1 as I paid on card. We were then led to our room 366. The room was not at all adequate more like a garden shed. Wardrobe had no door and the tea and coffee making facilities consisted of cups, a kettle and spoons. For all inclusive I would've expected tea and coffee. After going to reception to request a room change which we finally got after 2 days thanks to Dimitria. This room was better for our needs although the same issue with no tea and coffee. The all inclusive package could do with some tweets. As previous reviews state limited choice of drinks and the food wasn't fantastic. Breakfast didn't stay warm although they did move this to downstairs due to colder weather and lunch and dinner was mediocre. We were more excited about going into the local town for different food. There was no entertainment at all. In fact some other guests had their own karaoke machine. This is a lovely hotel but due to lack of options and entertainment I wouldn't return.
