A lovely hotel, excellent value and run by a lovely family. They were especially helpful when our flight was cancelled and we had to unexpectly extend our holiday by 6 days. We stayed in the room for 5. It was basic, but had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, air-conditioning (which as is often the case in greece was extra) worked well and kept us comfortable. Most importantly the room was cleaned every day and had plenty of space for our family of four. The pool was huge, the kids loved it and the smaller kids pool was great for my youngest to build his confidence in the water. The 2 little play areas were also great and kept our kids amused when they wanted to get out of the water. The location is great, not even a 5 min stroll from the beach, a shop with everything you need next door and a number of restaurants within a 10/15 min stroll. Having stayed in greece many many times, we know what to expect from the smaller family run hotels and Chrysouler didn't disappoint. We had an amazing 20 days there and still didn't want to leave. Couldn't recommend this hotel and Kefalos in general more highly. When we next return to kefalos, we will 100% stay here.

Beautiful place ran by a hard working family. I’m struggling to understand the negative review as our experience has been lovely, and I would definitely return here again in future. The apartment itself aligns with other apartments on the Greek islands - basic but perfectly functional. There were a couple of minor hiccups with water pressure and electricity going off, but these were resolved within the hour and are common issues on the Greek islands. My husband and I had a one bedroom apartment in block F. Our 17-year old son stayed on one of the beds in the living/kitchen area and we had the bedroom. The air con costs a little extra and is in the bedroom but with the middle door left open it travels through to the front room. The breakfasts are really good and worth having, there’s a small selection of hot food as well as cold food such as Greek yoghurt, cereal, cake, fruit and bread. The orange juice is really good and not the standard machine style juice that you often get in hotels abroad. The pool is fantastic and there are no sun bed wars here - there are always plenty available throughout the day - we visited in early July so this was a welcome surprise. We prefer a quieter vibe when we’re on holiday and that’s exactly what we got. Lastly there are plenty of amenities nearby. Jim’s supermarket is a one minute walk away and it’s got everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. To the left of Jim’s is a walkway down to the beach and on the left is a watersports company where you can hire a pedalo for 30 euros for an hour to go and visit the beautiful volcanic island with the church on. Just be mindful that it’s quite a steep walk up there so might be difficult with little ones. There are also several restaurants within a short stroll from the apartments. Hippocrates was our favourite.

Had a terrible experience the rooms are outdated. I found a cockroach in the room. Had to pay extra for air-conditioning service was terrible. I would not recommend this place.

It would be better to let the people know that you get charged even for breathing! Extra pay for wifi and ac without any information about it. Also the interior inside could be better! The outdoors was great!

Lovely family run hotel. I stayed in 1 bedroom apartment. Had a fridge, hob top, kettle and utensils etc. We paid for air con. There is a balcony off the bedroom. Table & chairs & washing line. Large swimming pool which was very clean. They have sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool. Have a poolside bar, food was very nice and prices are good. Good choice of breakfast on buffet. Short walk to the beach, supermarket and other restaurants. Would definitely recommend it.

Great location with sandy beach and shop, depending if you want stay that end of Kefalos. All staff very friendly and helpful, also with the children. Good choice for breakfast which was always being replenished and tables cleaned. Always plenty of sunbeds at the pool, all times of day with large clean pool. Pool bar great with reasonable prices, food nice (especially the gyros pitta wrap). Rooms were cleaned everyday and appeared towels changed most days. Rooms are what some would call dated but to me, 'typical basic Greek' which were clean and spacious, plenty of hot water for showers.

Friendly local family run lodging with fresh homegrown fruits/veges, huge clean pool w pool bar serving food n drink thru the day; Facility and apt cleaned scrupulously. Hefty breakfast. Walk to market, local car rental, and best sandy beach for activities, snorkeling etc. Yes it’s older style but bigger picture it’s a gem.

Lovely place to stay, very safe and manager dimitris went over and above to help us with queries and room accomodation. Pool is fantastic, pool bar food was nice. It's within walking distance of a lovely beach with sports activities and store closeby.

Booked based on other reviews, large family over several apartments. Spotless complex. Rooms were cleaned frequently and linen changed to a high standard. Housekeeping were very pleasant and cheerful. Pool bar was great, food was delicious and resonable . And Dimitris from booking to leaving was a gentleman, so very accomodating and helpful and courteous. A real gem and we would hope to come back soon.

Gemütliche aber einfache Hotel-/Appartmentanlage am Ortsrand von Kefalos. Zimmeraustattung einfach aber ausreichend. Schöner und großer Pool. Mitarbeiter freundlich und alles sauber und gepflegt. Das Zimmer/Apartment war einfach eingerichtet mit einer kleinen Kochecke und einen kleinen Bad. Es ist kein Luxus sondern eine einfache und typische griechische Unterkunft. Für uns war es ausreichend. Das Zimmer/Apartment wurde zgl. gereinigt und hatte zudem einen schönen Balkon. Zum Strand, Supermarkt, Autovermietung nur wenige Gehminuten ca. 10-15 Minuten. Auch Restaurants lassen sich zu Fuß erreichen.

Veramente una bella soluzione per soggiornare a Kos.Struttura gestita da una deliziosa famiglia.Ampi spazi con piscina ben tenuta con zona snack bar molto funzionale e a prezzi onesti.Pulizia degna di nota.Ogni giorno rifacimento camere e cambio teli dei bagni.Situato a due passi dalla spiaggia di Santo Stefanos.Super market a 200 metri e taverne ristoranti dove ci si arriva anche a piedi.Gran bel posto senza avere pretese da 5 stelle.Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.Bravi....

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel dal 15 al 18 giugno durante una splendida vacanza di quattro giorni a Kefalos, una delle zone più belle dell’isola di Kos. Mi sono trovato davvero benissimo. L’atmosfera è accogliente e familiare e ci si sente subito a casa. Un ringraziamento speciale va alla signora della reception, che credo sia la proprietaria: è una persona eccezionale. La sua gentilezza, l’attenzione verso gli ospiti e la disponibilità con cui ci ha aiutato durante il soggiorno hanno reso la nostra esperienza ancora più piacevole. Sto già organizzando un nuovo viaggio a Kos per la fine di agosto e tornerò sicuramente qui. Per quanto mi riguarda, non ho nulla di cui lamentarmi. Se proprio dovessi suggerire un piccolo miglioramento, direi la doccia, che non è molto comoda. Ma è davvero un dettaglio. Si tratta di mini appartamenti semplici ma ben attrezzati: non è un hotel di lusso, ma offre tutto ciò che serve per trascorrere una vacanza rilassante e piacevole. Mi sono sentito benissimo e non vedo l’ora di tornarci. La colazione è eccellente. Consigliatissimo!

Appena entrati nella camera/monolocale abbiamo notato che era sporchissimo nonostante la loro "pulizia giornaliera", asciugamani sporchi e lenzuola macchiate. Poi la doccia sembra essere fatta per bambini, quando ti docci cade tutta l'acqua per terra e si allaga il bagno. Le uniche cose positive sono la posizione alle spiagge più belle e i gattini che si trovano sempre fuori dall'hotel molto amorevoli, per il resto non consiglierei mai a nessuno di andarci

L’hotel non è nulla di che… non è nemmeno tanto pulito. Noi abbiamo fatto finta di nulla e ci siamo goduti la vacanza. Soprattutto i bambini che tra piscina, uva da cogliere e gattini da accudire sono stati benissimo. Contesto molto tranquillo
