Nissia Kamares

Stayed at Nissia Kanarese hotel kos when attending a wedding. All the rest of the party of 44 stayed at a large all inclusive hotel. my partner and myself prefer the smaller local hotel when we go on holidays and booking this beauty was why we take this option. The hotel is in the centre of Kardamena, less than 5 minutes from the beach and bars. The hotel is very peaceful built around 2 courtyards with flowers and trees around it, feels like you’re in a small village. Our room was large, very traditional with a large balcony, kept spotlessly clean, it’s the type of place we love. Breakfast was buffet style served outside by the pool with anything you could possibly want and good quality, home made jam is awesome. The pool area was kept spotlessly clean, plenty of sun beds, although we tend to spend most days out exploring and on the beach there was never any trouble finding a bed when we returned. The staff, well probably up there with best, I think it would be wrong to single anyone out, the reception, bar staff cleaners, security man all !!! So polite, extremely cheerful noting was to much trouble. A few of our friends from the all inclusive resort came over for a drink and All said they wished they had booked with us 😊 Thank you to all the staff, we now call OUR FRIENDS I would like to say thank you all for making our holiday in Kos absolutely fabulous. Would definitely book this gem again.

Just returned from a lovely 11 night stay at the Nissia Kamares. The hotel is just a short 5 minute stroll from the main square in Kardamena & is set out in beautiful gardens with many lovely flowers & plants with pathways to each room. The pool & surrounding area is perfect with plenty of available comfortable loungers. The breakfast was lovely too with plenty of hot & cold selections to suit all tastes. A special mention to the lovely Alex at the bar who warmly greeted us each morning with his perfect voice. The only issue we had is with the bathroom size in our room (207) which was tiny, would be a 5 star review if bigger, other than that the room was excellent & was cleaned every day. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel both for the stay & location. I would happily stay here again

What a wonderful hidden gem in the centre of Kardamena. We booked a last mnute holiday and so glad we chose Nissia Kamares. This was our first visit to Kos together. We booked with Jet 2 and from the moment we arrived at the hotel we were made to feel very welcome. We had a studio suite which was lovely, very comfortable bed and amazing fluffy pillows which I had read about in a previous review. All the staff were lovely and excellent friendly cleaning staff. The grounds of the hotel were beautifully kept with lots of colourful bouganvillia and hibiscus flowers and other amazing trees.. Our buffet breakfasts were super and all freshly prepared each morning. Special thanks to Krysta and all who were involved with this. Many thanks also to Alex in the bar who made our holiday extra special. Special thanks also to Alexandros and Stef in the bar and also to Mary and Nas in reception. We made lots of friends around the pool and pleased to say we have booked a stay for 2024.

Booked a short break to Kos, literally 2 days before with Jet2 Holidays,it was the last couple of weeks of the season and some hotels were already closing, offered Nissia Kamares, really glad I stayed here. Excellent location, short trip from the airport, situated in a quiet location within Kardamena with beach, shops,bars and restaurants all very close,easy walk. My apartment was of a decent size, in this pretty complex, air-con, safe, a small amount of coffee/tea/ milk sachets and shower gel were all included. The shower had plenty of hot water though a little snug for us larger guests,though I believe there is gong to be some upgrades for 2024. I enjoyed the small terrace outside my room, lovely little sun trap in the afternoon. Clean and tidy pool area, ample sunbeds, food available until 4pm. A special mention to the poolside bar staff,Kreta and Alex, they both were really excellent.Bar open to late with a good selection of drinks. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful, as I had a evening flight, I was able to stay in my room until 6pm(30 euros) which meant I could enjoy my last day. All in all,a superb break was had,down to in no small means thanks to Nissia Kamares, added to the unseasonably hot weather. If I return to Kos and after my stay here, it's more likely, I'll know were I'll be staying.

Just come home from a brilliant 2nd visit to these wonderful apartments. Staff were excellent as always and even allowed us a very late free check out even though we were the last guests for the season, and no doubt they were itching to clean our room. Reception were so lovely and promptly remedied a problem we had with our air con. Alex behind the bar was so polite. Hopefully we will return again in a few years. Kardamena was busier than we thought it would be this time of year and weather was excellent.

We have just returned from a wonderful week in Kardamena. Weather up in the late 20s in late October - what more could you ask for. This is our second time to Kardamena - came last year, and had to come again this year - we fell in love with the place. This time staying at the Nissia Kamares was the icing on the cake. Everything from the beautiful flowers and greenery that are everywhere you look, to the boutique style rooms, and the fabulous pool was exceptional. Forget about those spa hotels to de-stress - just come here! So welcoming and I can honestly say that we’ve never felt so settled. Thank you Nassos, Alex and the wonderful NK staff. We will without a doubt be back next October!

We we have stayed in various hotels in the area , but this was best by far , the cute apartment setting , the cleanliness and wonderful staff , the amazing fresh breakfast and excellent maid service , the only problem was with staying on the ground floor was the mosquitoes that were in the room and caused lots of bites , however I asked in reception if they had anything and they kindly sprayed our apartment a few times , nothing was to much bother , we will def be back , but stay on an upper floor next time .

The service and staff at this hotel is absolutely superb. It’s tucked away, with no sea views, but it outshines any of the bigger hotels by a long way.

I stayed for 4 nights as I needed a central base for my friends wedding. I was travelling solo and found the Nissia Kamares perfect as was in a great location, clean, safe, very very pretty with lovely staff. The rest of the wedding party were staying in big hotel complexes but I wanted something more personal and authentic and I could not recommend this hotel enough. The room was large with everything I needed, air con, WiFi, water, tea, coffee, kettle, fridge etc and had a large balcony with table and chairs. I was in an apartment that hadn’t been upgraded but it was perfectly clean and didn’t effect my stay. The breakfast and snack food were lovely. Breakfast was full of choice, fruits, continental, home made jams, honey, yoghurts, hot food including bacon, sausages and eggs, tea coffee, juices, fresh breads etc. just lovely. The snack menu was varied and very reasonable. The pool area was clean, pretty and always enough sunbeds, umbrellas etc The staff helped me with local taxis and anything else I needed like an iron for the wedding outfit I was wearing. I will most definitely return (as many do from the conversations I was having with other guests). Thank you for making me welcome and will return with family and friends next time !
