This was our second visit to Cleopatra Superior it it won't be our last. Rooms are clean beds are comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Sunbeds have been refurbished since last year and are very comfortable . Breakfast is basic continental but there is enough to fill you up , if you want a full English (like the very loud and annoying corniche man who was there when we were) this is available for 5 euros in the sister hotel Kris Mari Hotel ideally situated for beach bars restaurants and shops. You have to pay for air con and the shower can flood the bathroom floor but both of these things are common place in Greece

The hotel is in a good location, a five minute walk from the beach, bars and restaurants. The bed was comfortable, the shower did soak the floor but soon dried, no major problem.. Breakfast was adequate and all the staff were very helpful. If you want a 5 star hotel, pay for it. This hotel suited myself and my friends.

Cats were roaming and sometimes leaving puddles on the floor. allowed to roam the dining area during meal times, came into you room. On our last two days the staff were removing plants and Stock unplugged freezers for ice creams ect, made to feel not welcome but an inconvenience to them. Tiles on pool bottom very slippery.

We stayed in the first week of October. We arrived at 2 and check in was at 3.Our room had everything we needed.Beds were comfortable, big wardrobe and tv.The rooms were cleaned and changed daily. The continental breakfast was basic but we found enough to eat.A few grumbling customers( including an annoying Cornish man) who expected a full English!! Firstly if you’d read the reviews then you would have realised that and second, when is that ever on a continental breakfast? The pool was chilly but it was ok. Nice sun beds. We didn’t really use the hotel bar or order food so can’t comment on that. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the nearest bars and restaurants so ideally located. We had 2 grumbles. 1 was the shower. Impossible to use without flooding the floor.2, we were in room 112 which is on a stairwell by the lift so lots of passing people returning at night and the wind seemed to funnel up the stairs, felt like wuthering heights at times lol For what we paid £350 I do t think you can really grumble too much. Kardemena is beautiful and well worth a visit

I’ll start with the positives as there isn’t many: 1. Hotel is clean and rooms are regularly cleaned and supplied with fresh towels. 2. Location - 2 min walk to the best bits of Kardamena, ideal if you want to be close to all the bars and restaurants. 3. Pool is big, loungers are comfy and the bar is convenient. Now the negatives: 1. Told to pay 80 euros straight away just for air conditioning and a safe even though the aircon and remote is already in the room ready. 2. Bed is uncomfortable. 3. Not nearly enough plug sockets in the room. I had to charge my phone overnight hanging from the wall near the bathroom, really inconvenient. 4. Shower head is terrible and must be over 20 years old, would be better using a hose. 5. Shower curtain and shower floor are not fit for purpose and it is impossible to not flood the whole bathroom when showering. 6. Non existent breakfast - We booked bed and breakfast and wish we didn’t bother. Not even a pastry in sight. Scraps of melon, cheese and ham is about all there is. We went out for our breakfast each day. Spoke to someone else who booked half board but they still had to pay for their evening meal so avoid that too. 7. The hotel quoted €120 for late check out. Conveniently reduced to €60 if you spend over €25 in their sister bar in the town. I found this baffling as a nights stay at the hotel didn’t even cost €120 as it is and better standard hotels have never cost anywhere near €120. I ended up booking an apartment for €40 for a night 100 yards away from the hotel. This is apparently a 3 star hotel but even as a “Greek” 3 star it’s still miles off. 2 stars at very very best.

Came here for a week stay with my boyfriend, knowing it was 3 stars we weren’t expecting anything other than basic and clean however we were barely met with either. First of all, upon check in we had to cough up €100 euros. For a safe - which is fair enough, holiday tax - also fair enough but also AIR CON. Never have I ever been to a hotel abroad where there is an extra charge for something as basic as aircon. Room was clean but the bathroom was non descript. I should’ve taken a photo but we were honestly too mortified to even do so. The ‘shower’ was a black hole in the corner of the room, covered in mould and mildew. The water didn’t even come out properly it was more like being sprayed by a crap hose of some sort and also the bathroom ended up a slippery, wet death trap. We had booked bed and breakfast so in the morning we go down to what I can only describe as a poor display of rations. They had to offer - some hard pieces of bread, a big bowl of yoghurt that had flies landing on it and then some cheese slices. Not a crossaint or bit of butter insight. As well as this the seating for breakfast was all mismatched tables and chairs thrown together in the corner of a cramped room. A few days before checkout we enquired about a late checkout as our flight wasn’t until midnight that night. We were told late checkout would €120 as this was the rate for an extra night stay. We’ve stayed in 5* places before that charge €35 for a late checkout so we were appalled by this and went to *********** and booked an apartment nearby for €40 and placed our stuff in there and used the place to shower before our flight and it was nicer then the Cleopatra where we had stayed all week. This ONLY positive of this place was the pool area where the views are beautiful and the loungers comfortable. This place should be 1 star and that star being for the location and the pool area. If you enjoy holidaying here I pity the life you must live at home, I’m sorry to say. We won’t be back.

Been staying here for 19 years seen a lot of changes over the years but to us it's like home from home the location Is perfect the hotel is spotless clean don't believe the reviews about not having towels and sheets changed cos it's not true our towels were changed evey 2 days and sheets every 2 to 3 days the house keeping staff (not maids) as someone referred to them are very efficient and very friendly as are all the staff a special mention to gerry at the pool bar he makes your day with his good humour and banter 😀 jenny our guest relations is always around to make sure everything is ok 👍 she was even working behind the bar one evening and when my hubby cut himself she went above and beyond to get the first aid kit to clean and dress his wound well done jenny the pool area is lovely and clean and the pool is so refreshing this is one of the main reasons we keep coming back for the pool and the new sunbeds are so comfortable we've already booked for next year thanks again for an enjoyable stay and a wonderful holiday

Came here with my wife for 2 weeks and had a great time. The pool was a decent size and the sunbeds all had the sun at some point in the day. The pool barman was great and always had a smile on his face when serving. The breakfast was simple, your usual cereal, fruit, bread, cheese and ham that you get with continental breakfasts with a coffee machine, water, apple and orange juice. The room was basic which personally doesn't bother me at all, however the drains were smelling and there were a few times the maids didn't provide us with new soap, toilet paper or a bath mat so I needed to contact reception to ask for these. The rooms are cleaned daily with the bed sheets and towels changed every 2 days. The reception staff were pleasant and welcoming upon arrival, they even went out of their way to help me get an ice cream from the pool bar after it was closed as I needed a cool down in the middle of the night. I would definitely stay here again as it is very close to the beach and the *****.
