Good location just that parking too expensive, i park an hour and its charge RM5 and parking only open from 6am-10pm. Amenities in room are very satisfied, very clean. But the bed is too high, not suitable for kids & elder (need to climb up the bed). I’m not sure what kind of wall material in the room, just that can’t sleep because clearly heard the next door talking, laughing.. hotel at roadside, traffic clearly heard too.. hard to sleep. No air circulation in lift.

Clean, modern hotel with excellent walkable location This hotel is in a very convenient location, close to Gaya Street and many well-known food places. Most attractions and eateries are easily reachable on foot, which made our stay very enjoyable. The hotel is new and very well kept. Everything felt modern and sparkling clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and provided great support, allowing us to rest very well at night. One small drawback is that the bed frame is quite high, which may not be ideal for elderly guests or young children as it can be difficult to climb onto the bed. Overall, this is a great hotel with an excellent location, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

We had a very pleasant stay at Cityinn Hotel with our family. It is a new hotel and everything feels fresh, modern, and very well maintained. The room was spotless, you can really feel that it’s clean and new, which made us very comfortable staying there with our family. All the basic needs were thoughtfully provided, from toiletries to clean towels and comfortable bedding. The room layout was practical and cosy, perfect for a family stay. The environment was quiet and relaxing, allowing us to rest well. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. Cityinn Hotel is a great choice if you are looking for a clean, new, and comfortable hotel for a family trip. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit.

Looks great on the outside, but the inside is a mess. The owner must have been ripped off by the contractor. The location is fantastic, sharing a building with Horizon and the landmark graffiti art, making it easy to find. Just across the street downstairs are Kinabalu and Peace, and you can jog to all the highly-rated shops on Gaya Street in about a minute. Right behind the hotel, across the pedestrian bridge, is Durian Street. We walked 700 meters to the DBKK pier for three days straight, no problem at all, and Suria Sabah is even closer. Service was also fine. So, where's the problem? The bathroom floor drain is designed to drain too slowly, and the shower curb doesn't have a slope. This caused the shower area to flood, and then the entire bathroom. Also, the vanity mirror on the wall facing the bed has a blue touch button that stays brightly lit all night and can't be turned off, disturbing sleep. Soundproofing is also just so-so. In the window area, perhaps to accommodate Muslim customs, a platform was built. This type of construction is more expensive than laying a floor; it's like custom-made carpentry for the whole room. The owner probably doesn't realize how much extra money they spent. Due to these inconveniences, I don't recommend this place.

Such a great hotel, really clean since its still new. But 10/10 Staff friendly really helpful Btw, parking management charge me a bit expensive for overnight stay. It would be nice if the parking price affordable for overnight staying rates.

Very new and clean. We brought our child, and the front desk staff was incredibly nice! Huge thanks to them; in the morning, the front desk lady and gentleman even helped us arrange a car, which was half the price of what we'd pay on Grab...

This is a newly opened hotel, so everything is very new and all the essential facilities are there. The only minor downsides are that the bed is a bit small and there's no laundry room. They do offer luggage storage though.

This hotel was genuinely great, and I was very satisfied with it during my trip. Initially, I only booked 2 nights, but after staying there, I extended my stay for the remaining three days. First, let's talk about the pros: The location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere. It's a 5-6 minute taxi ride to the pier and Suria Sabah shopping mall, and about 10 minutes to Imago. Plus, the recommended souvenir shop is less than a 10-minute walk away. Gaya Street is right downstairs with plenty of dining options. Our room, 9915, offered a beautiful sea sunset view right from the bed. Hotel environment: The hotel environment is very clean, and the bedding is spotless white without any dirt. 1. **Service:** One male front desk staff member speaks Chinese fluently. The others don't speak Chinese very well, but they all try their best to communicate and greet guests with a smile every time they see them. There's also complimentary water at the front desk, which saved us from buying a lot of bottled water these past few days. 2. **Room:** The beds in the room are quite large. I compared many hotels and initially considered the Hyatt, but online information suggested their beds were too small for two adults and a child. This hotel's quad room has large single beds, perfect for an adult and a child, and two adults would also be comfortable. Now for the cons: 1. Housekeeping requires informing the front desk, but once you tell them, they clean it immediately. On the second day, when we extended our stay, the female receptionist even remembered that I had asked her to clean the day before and proactively asked if we needed cleaning for the new day. 2. On the day our room was cleaned, they didn't restock the toilet paper. I went downstairs to ask for it, but it was never brought up. Eventually, I saw their supply room door open in the morning and took some myself. 3. We stayed in a quad room, and the room size was actually decent, comparable to chain hotels in China. The downside is the lack of bedside tables, which made it very inconvenient to put things down. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that.
