The day before our arrival, the hotel manager informed us that they had made a mistake and couldn't accommodate us. Instead, they offered us another hotel and complimentary breakfast as compensation. The alternative hotel was called Ancora Y&W Hotel. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the alternative hotel: the room was tiny with no space to move around, the furniture was worn out, and the breakfasts were meager. On top of that, we were given a room with one bed instead of two, and we had to argue to even get a second blanket. I cannot recommend this hotel; we were very disappointed with the experience. The only upside was the beautiful view from the shared balcony.

The hotel isn't in the liveliest area, but it's directly across from a 7-Eleven, and a mini-Big C is a bit further down. There are cafes around, though I didn't find any particularly good ones 😬. The pier is close by, but the beach is only accessible at Ao Nang. There's scooter parking downstairs. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and check-in was quick. The room is small but perfectly adequate, with a fridge, TV, wardrobe, and bed. Hot water is available at reception (along with tea, coffee, bananas, and cookies). They provide two 0.5L bottles of water daily. The water supply is stable, and the hot water comes from an instant heater. There's also a balcony with a table, which is nice for relaxing. The air conditioning is super powerful – I set it to 27°C and still froze! 😂 Housekeeping is daily. For its price point, it's pretty good. However, it would be boring without your own transport.

This is our second year in a row staying at this hotel. We love everything about it – it's clean and bright. They offer free breakfast with tea/coffee, toast, and bananas. The staff are very friendly. If we come back to Krabi, we'll definitely choose this hotel again.

Room was super duper comfy! Cheap and worth! They also provided free breakfast for all. Only the location not alongside Aonang Beach.
