Aonang Village Resort

Title: A Pleasant Stay at Aonang Village Resort, Krabi My recent stay at Aonang Village Resort in Krabi, Thailand, was overall satisfactory. The room provided was clean and adequately furnished, although it lacked some modern touches that I've come to expect from hotels in this price range. However, it was spacious enough and provided a comfortable environment for rest and relaxation. The hotel's facilities, including the pool area and on-site restaurant, were decent. While not particularly luxurious, they served their purpose adequately. The pool was clean and refreshing, . The restaurant offered a decent selection of dishes, though the quality was somewhat inconsistent. The staff at Aonang Village Hotel were friendly and helpful, albeit not overly attentive. While they were always polite and willing to assist with any inquiries, I didn't experience the level of personalized service that I've encountered at other hotels. In terms of value for money, Aonang Village Hotel offers a reasonable option for accommodation in Krabi. While it may not be the most luxurious or extravagant choice, it provides a comfortable stay at a relatively affordable price point. Overall, my experience at Aonang Village Hotel was positive. While it may not have been a standout or exceptional stay, it provided a pleasant base for exploring the beautiful region of Krabi. If you're looking for a no-frills accommodation option with a convenient location, Aonang Village Hotel could be worth considering.

It’s just disappointing as per resort and prices …!! Bathrooms were not clean . The tv is like from 1970 a big box ( common upgrade to atleast LCD) . No phone in the room to call at reception . Felt awful for the price paid . There are better 2 and 3 star hotels nearby that have far verter facilities and cleaniness. Will NEVER choose it again .

Stayed here for 2 nights. Was quite an awful experience to be honest. We didn’t arrive to Krabi until 10:30pm from Bangkok. I didn’t realise the reception was not 24hr. My partner knacker on the main door and the man opened the door and screamed “what” my partner said we were there to check in. He gave him a key and we went to the room and it was in a state. The toilet was broken (cistern), awful mouldy smell, very outdated, dust everywhere, the bed and towels provided were filthy while following onto the next day there was 2 ants in the bed also!!!! The shower was basically in the toilet also. My partner said it was fascinating how one could **** and wash themself at the same time that’s how squashed it was. The man came to us the next day and asked for our booking as it never showed up on his system. Nearly an hour at reception and it was sorted. But still stressful. Also planning to have a pool day to our surprise also the pool didn’t work and it was absolutely filthy. He also never provided us with our own personal Wi-Fi (which was included) thankfully our neighbour was thai so he had his own free data he could use and was kind enough to give us his Wi-Fi code from the room. Personally I would never stay here again but I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt in thinking he didn’t realise we were coming as the booking came through but even at that it was unacceptable. Location was good but everything else was extremely poor. I would not recommend.

It's a nice hotel. The room is big, have small swimming pool, but who needs pool on Krabi. The location is just few minutes walking to the beach. Everything is great, except one big thing - there is NO safe!!!not in the room, not at the reception. I was shoked and if I knew this I would never book. I asked if there is any secure place I cam keep my documents and other important stuff coz I am not a backpacker. They said they don't have and who needs to rob it. Hahaha. And there are no cameras facing tye rooms. And so easy to come to your rom from the street. So if you have something important to put in a safe- don't book.. if you don't have - its a great place to stay. I also have been told they have safe rooms in better rooms, but I didn't see them when I was making my booking and I see they are always empty, there no guests. So maybe not only I couldn't book a room with the safe. It's on the photo ( the room with the balcony and sofa, 3 floors building)

Hotel is in a really good location. Close to bars, restaurants and the beach. Good value for money. Only downsides are the pool gets shaded early on if you’re looking to use it. The showers also aren’t very good, can’t be moved and spray the whole bathroom. Overall 7.5/10

Nice pool, facilities a little old, room size good. Only let down by poor customer service - they don't communicate well. Other than that if its priced cheap and you can deal with customer service not being good and don't mind outdated furniture etc then book it!

We actually liked the place for this price range but we had an unpleasant experience with the owner with whom we agreed to extend our stay for another night but then he charged us late checkout fees because we hadn’t prepaid the extra night. Wouldn’t stay again .
