Reviews of Krabi Sands Resort

This has always been my first choice resort, unfortunately, this trip was a little disappointing. The swimming pool floor (at entry points) has started to disintegrate and loose, sharp chippings dug into the soles of my feet making it almost impossible to walk into the pool, I had to slip off the wall at the deeper part. Pool chairs had been set up 10ft from my chalet doors and people placed towels on them early morning, meaning my kids had to keep their curtains closed. It was like being in a cave - not what a family comes to the beach for. I eventually had to get up at 5am to place towels on our own poolside chairs to keep people away - no manners at all. I booked these two chalet for the family but shared them with others who wanted to sit in this spot all day. They did not sit in their own poolside chairs. I actually watched the same couple come out every morning and put towels on chairs early morning because they were in the sun and their own chairs were not in the morning. It was impossible to get a nice shower, the water was either too hot or too cold - adjusting the flow 50/50 was not an option. This made showering a 6 year old a little difficult. I come here most years but my next trip may well be to a different resort. A shame after all these years.
