My experience with this hotel was extremely disappointing.
I accidentally booked my stay for March instead of February, for an entire week. As soon as I realized my mistake, I contacted the hotel by email, being completely transparent about the situation. I also tried to modify my reservation to new dates at the same hotel, but unfortunately, no rooms were available.
I reached out multiple times to ask what could be done, including the possibility of a refund — even a partial one. At first, I received no response at all. Eventually, my request was simply refused without any explanation.
While I was already in the area (staying at another nearby hotel), I went in person to see if a solution could be found. The staff spoke among themselves in Thai, laughed at my situation, and told me to send another email — which, once again, went unanswered.
At no point did they show any willingness to help or any understanding. Considering that the high season ends after March, it is very likely the room could have been rebooked even in case of cancellation.
I had saved for an entire year to afford this trip, and ended up losing €600 due to a staff that seemed unwilling to communicate or show basic customer care. This experience made me feel like tourists are treated as sources of money rather than as people.
