From the moment the doors opened on their own for our entry we were immersed in the luxury and warmth of this hotel. It was beyond expectations! It’s hard to sum up what a great place and experience this was. We are a family of three, one thirteen year old. We had a junior suite that had a wonderfully comfortable trundle bed in a giant armoire that was perfect. There was a mini-bar, a great sitting area and a bathroom that will ruin every other bathroom for me the rest of my life. A giant rain shower, a tub built for two all surrounded by gorgeous marble. Amazing water pressure and plenty of hot water. Radiant heat on the stone floor in the bathroom that was so pleasing to cold toes. The closet is huge. Nice desk. Plenty of storage for all of us. Staff is exceptional. The dinner in the hotel restaurant was the best meal and wine we had all week. It was superb. It’s spotless. The pool/ sauna/ wet and dry and salt chamber are the most amazing places to spend time in after being in the cold. The massage was GREAT. The value of this hotel is amazing. I would return to Krakow just to go to this hotel again. Some complain of the lighting. I say they are crazy. It’s unique and clever. If you want lights like in a Holiday Inn, go to a Holiday Inn. The design of this hotel is masterful. There is gym equipment and again, spotless changing rooms with showers, towels, lovely lotions and potions. Go to the sixth floor to see the view. Its steps away from the main square. Location can’t be beat. It’s quiet, serene and worth every penny. Include breakfast with your room, you will be so happy. We have never had breakfasts like these. Everything you could possibly want. Including made to order hot cereal and egg dishes.

Hotel absolutely wonderful. Great location. Service excellent and rooms a great size. Breakfast good able to provide gluten free too. Didn’t use the spa but good excuse to come back which we will. The only negative I could find on this fab hotel is the airport transport was poor the driver lost her car in the car park and then dropped us off at wrong place

A pleasant room facing the road with plenty natural light. No 318. I had phoned a few days before our arrival and the receptionist confirmed we would have tea making facilities in the room. This wasn’t the case but we were supplied with a kettle and cups quickly when we asked for them. Very good shower, bed made every day by pleasant staff who always left chocolates. Leisure facilities are good and as seen on the website. We didn’t eat here. Only ****** and I suppose it is an old building, in the evenings Silverfish bugs were on the bathroom floor and scuttled under the sink wall (except the few I stamped on!) No relaxing lounge to use for reading but some small chairs in reception. We enjoyed our visit to beautiful Krakow and the hotel is just off the edge of the main square.

My partner and I stayed at Hotel Stary last week and loved our stay. I mentioned that the booking was made for my birthday and we were immediately upgraded to a Junior Suite with an interior balcony free of charge which was extremely generous. The location is just off the main market square which is full of bars and restaurants. The art deco interior oozes luxury. The hotel spa is open until midnight and is stunning. There are two swimming pools with massage jets, a sauna, steam room, a shower bucket, a salt relaxation room and a main relaxation area. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay the best possible. The breakfast selection is great and includes juice, cereal, fruit, cold meats, cheese, yoghurts, hot food (frankfurter sausages, crispy bacon, peppers), pastries and bread plus a separate menu for eggs, cooked meals and hot drinks. Overall, I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay, we will definitely be returning!

We had a lovely stay. Hotel is in a great location. Breakfast was outstanding and even offered drinks to go. On our final morning we left early and so a packed breakfast was provided for us. Our room was large and comfortable, immaculately clean. We used the spa twice while we were there and loved it. A lovely facility after a long day! Only negative was no tea/coffee tray or facility in the room. However, when we asked a kettle, tray, and tea etc was provided within minutes. Very much appreciated. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and will happily recommend this hotel to others.

Fantastic hotel just off the square. Beautiful room and great pool/spar facilities. Hotel restaurant served impressive food, although obviously a lot more expensive than the local restaurants in the area. Would highly recommended this hotel if staying in Krakow.

We are still here enjoying our time at this beautiful hotel. It is so well located, just down the street from old town. The hotel is beautiful, our room is very comfortable. We have service everyday with new towels and great products in the bathroom. The bathrooms have heated floors which is such a nice touch. There are robes in our room, a safe, an umbrella, and is mostly quiet. We are very happy to have found this hotel.

Excellent location just off main square. We had a junior suite which was large and comfortable- immense marble lined bathroom! Very clean . Fruit bowl on arrival. View was onto glass roof over an inner courtyard . Coffee machine in room but would have been nice to have tea making facilities. 2 TVs in room but not much for English speakers. Bed very comfortable. Didn’t try the breakfast or the restaurant Would be happy to stay here again.
