Response from Property: Dear Stephanie, Thank you for leaving your opinion on Tripadvisor. We are sorry that you had a bad experience at our place. We hope you will get better soon. It is the first time in our history that someone fell from the stairs. It is not clear to us why you didn’t contact us when it happened. We are available 24/7 and always ready to help. Our apartments are placed in an old historic tenement building. Close to the Old Town, but far enough from the city's hustle. There is no lift in the building, and the apartments are housed on the third and fourth floor. This information is clearly visible on our site and in opinions of other Guests. There are also numerous pictures of the staircase and the building itself. We are a family run business and we look after every detail personally. We have to address some of your concerns as they might be misleading to other Guests. There is our emergency contact number inside the apartment and at entrance to the building. The common areas are also monitored so we will check the cameras to see what exactly has happened. Regarding other comments, we understand that is how you felt. We will take your comments into consideration. We would appreciate if you could send us pictures showing the bad building state that you mentioned, so we could send them to the building manager. The safety of the building is checked every year and no danger to the inhabitants was ever reported. Kind regards, Helena
