My wife and I just finished a 7 day stay at the Hotel Copernicus. The hotel is perfectly located in Old City. It is a classy establishment with rooms that are spacious and well decorated. Ours offered a view to Wawel Castle. Bathroom had a gigantic tub and a separate shower. The breakfasts were delicious and served in a lovely dining area by professional staff . We did a food tasting paired with wine that was outstanding. From reception to restaurant to housekeeping all staff were at the top of their game. Hotel Manager Joanna made our stay memorable with her kindness and attention to our stay there. 5 stars in all aspects and a must to stay in when visiting Kraków.

The hotel was magnificent along with accommodations, the Gavi Restaurant should qualify for a Michelin Star, so should the bedding and pillows,but again, it was the staff that truly made our stay. These are our friends; the receptionists are Zofia,Weronika Natalie,Ilona,Rafal,Michal. The bellboys are Michal,Dominik,Wojciech,Jakob,Max Breakfast staff,Claudia,Gabrysia,Joanna The extraordinary Gavi restaurant Staff includes Krzysztof,Manu and the Third level Sommelier Mateusz. Yes they have the Wine Spectator Award for excellence the last three years. If you wish for the ultimate in enjoyment and relaxation Bachleda Luxury Hotel is the place. The room is large, there is a place to put the box, but the bed is not big, not far from the old town and the train station, probably in the middle. There is a music school in the hotel, and there are always students from the college who are practicing the piano and passing out beautiful music. I don’t know if the air conditioner in the room is broken, not too cool, the house is quite tidal, the other is ok, there is breakfast, but the variety can not eat much.

Even before we arrived the staff helped us arrange transportation to auschwitz on our trip. They couldn't do enough to help when we were there. The rooms were modern,clean and spacious. I had a 2 bedroom apartment which was plenty of room and decorated in a modern way. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Our friends had a one bedroom apartment, it was gorgeous with more living space and 2 bathrooms. The studios was pretty small, but equally as nice, especially if you're hardly in there. The only thing I would say is ask for top floor if possible, as we did have some noise from residents above, but it wasn't unbearable. We had no view, looking at the courtyard, so maybe you could request that too . But we cannot fault Stradonia, and would definitely recommend it. The location is spot on , near the river and castle, and right in the middle between the old town and the Jewish quarter.( about 10/25 min stroll to each) And for breakfast, the bakers a couple of doors down was amazing, as is Krakow.
