The best overall holiday we have ever had!! Like most of you we've been on many holidays around Europe and Greece at least 15 times, hotel spotless and laid back all staff helpful when needed and very down to earth ,we didn't go for the dearest apar**ent or the best sea view ect but that what we got,and I think most other guest got the same.We had a lovely room everyone gets a lovely patio area with table and chairs and a view, you could pay 10 times the amount and not get a view the one you will get from the pool area or most of the room.

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, great breakfast, same every day but good quality. Views so lovely. A steep hill to walk up , but we'll worth it. Definitely try Antholas restaurant in the square and the coffee at the Sugar bar restaurant.

A gorgeous hidden gem, I would highly recommend this place, the staff are so welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The bar was well stocked and offered a range of food and drinks from coffee to cocktails, all reasonably priced. I am sad to leave but hope to return in the future. The pool is a good size and plenty of sunbeds available. I honestly cannot give this place enough praise, the apar**ent was a good size with basic cooking facilities , a fridge and kettle, the beds are comfortable and spacious, we also had a small patio area that overlooked both the sea and the pool, we had 3 chairs and a table also an airer for drying clothes, the walk in shower was a welcome sight with 2 heads 1 large and a smaller one. Very clean. The breakfast was fantastic and a great choice ranging from fresh bread to fried eggs and everything in between, again very clean and hot. They also run a free shuttle to the beach and back if needed 3 times a day. What more can I say except I wish them all the best for the future and thank you

Last minute 4 night bed and breakfast with my husband. Studio apar**ent very spacious with large shower, kitchen area (toaster, kettle, hob, fridge, sink, cutlery, crockery and glasses everything you need). Fantastic views from our terrace, views of the pool area and sea to the left, hills to the right. Sun all day long on the terrace definitely the best apar**ent number 108. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet with great choice of fresh fruits, pastries, cooked foods. Pool bar very convenient. Great range of drinks and food. Lots of sun loungers around pool. Quite and relaxing. Beach is down the hill definitely catch the hotel bus back up as long and steep. Must take beach shoes for the sea as rocky around the first section where sun loungers cost €10 each which includes a drink. Beach Cafe with food and drinks lovely view. If you walk further along lots of lovely sand. Hotel is on a hill so there is a walk up to the Main Street. But hotel can always call you a taxi if you can’t make the walk. Restaurants and bars on the main road excellent (Taverna Nikos, Balatsos, Anthoulas and Casablanca (food staff and cocktail’s excellent). A few small food market shops to pick up water etc. Well worth the visit.

We have just arrived back from Alkion Hotel Sidari We had overall great experience The management bar staff reception very friendly very good. Entertainment every night some decent entertainment Abba Elvis Karaoke. Food must say was not the best for us having read all reviews on Facebook saying how good food was we eat out most days smugglers Fagins Crispy Duck all we both loved and personally rate. Hotel in good location to supermarkets the ***** bars Babylon Maddison bar Plus pharmacy right opposite our hotel In great location in Sidari We have been 4 times best hotels we have stayed in even tho food not great We had great time weather was good and would definitely recommend the hotel entertainment staff small friendly run hotel go see for yourself Hope this helps anyone thinking of going to sidari first time Steve and Sharon Heathcock

Lovely hotel , lovely staff . Food was nice , breakfast buffet only , but you had enough choices , will try to upload a video of the buffet breakfast . The hotel itself we really couldn’t fault , rooms were lovely , as were the staff but it’s situated in a very hilly area and the walk to the beach was simply exhausting and others agreed. (There is a nicer beach further up St George’s or something it was called but again you had to navigate the hill we learnt to hate , then bus or long walk to get to the Main Street - again a hill to navigate , for the older people this is quite hard work in very hot weather !!! If you want a relaxing holiday just stay put in the hotel basically!! Would stay here again on that basis only ! If young and fit it probably won’t bother you

We have just returned from a 10 day holiday staying at the Alkion hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. We had a wonderful holiday. It was so relaxing and the staff were always on hand to book restaurants and answer any questions we had. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices from cereal's to fruits ,cakes , biscuits yoghurt,cheeses,hams and full English, teas and coffees. The staff were very friendly in the breakfast room. The pool area was beautiful looking over the sea. There were plenty of sunbeds available even if you wanted one in the afternoon. The hotel provided a shuttle bus to the beach as it was down a very steep hill. We walked down in the morning which took around 10 mins and caught the bus back. The sunbeds were very reasonably priced at 10 euros each with an umbrella. With this you got a drink of your choice and a bottle of water. Our room was spacious with a balcony looking over the hillside. It was beautiful. We loved it so much we have just booked for next September.

So glad we chose this lovely hotel for a late summer holiday. Beautiful grounds overlooking the next peninsula and the sea with opportunities to relax in the gardens under olive trees as well as around the lovely pool. Very good breakfast with a special mention for the Greek yogurt which was just delicious. Delightful staff throughout the hotel, from reception via the breakfast staff to the people running the bar. Could not have asked for a better introduction to the area. Tip: do make sure you visit Afytos which is around 8km away. Reception staff can sort a taxi driver for you. Absolutely not to be missed. Thanks to all at the hotel for a wonderful week. xx

We really enjoyed this hotel in kriopigi PROS LOCATION From airport he had a taxi which took 60 minutes and cost 100 euro each way. Kriopigi is a lovely little town with plenty of restaurants and bars all 5 minutes walk up a hill from the hotel. Afitos is around a ten minute drive away and 15 euros in a cab. STAFF All staff we delt with all seemed happy and happy to help with anything you needed. ROOMS Our room 610 was always nice and clean, with a big walk in shower.and with a sea view through the trees. POOL AREA Pool area was always clean with plenty of sunbeds available throughout the day.also very good service at the pool bar. CONS Not really any negatives at the hotel. Maybe the pricing at the pool bar is a little steep. Especially compared to the restaurants and bars in the village. 4 euros for a beer which is only really just over half a pint. Cocktails 10 euros and they are only 6 euros in the town. I think if they priced cocktails around that kind of price they would sell a lot more as I didn’t see anyone have one all week. The service tho at the pool bar by bar ladies and waitresses and the chef was fantastic
