Bukit Ceylon
LOCATION   About 2 min walk from the busy pubstreet in Bukit Bintang, the building itself is unique, whitewashed with an attractive façade of verandahs and wall-sized glass amidst the neighboring towers.   LOBBY   The style is simple, minimalistic, modern and functional.   SERVICE   We stayed about 3 days after the hotel commenced operations, so it was stunning and sublime to use the new rooms. The room we had was a virgin room, as everything was unopened, unused. Security good and parking available. Restaurant not yet in use during stay. The chinese desk clerk was very helpful, professional and kind. He even helped us carry luggage to our uber on check-out.   ROOMS   We were upgraded to family room as the standard rooms were fully occupied. The open wardrobe plan design with lots of storage space is a plus for travellers. All the sockets were internationally adaptable and fitted with USB ports, meaning no need to bring and borrow. Well Done!   The wallpaper was a large black and white photograph of the community life from the past, splashed with bright yellow paint at certain spots. The grey+white+yellow carpet matched the painting adding warmth and comfort to our toes. The bed was X-Large, super comfy and a torment to leave. The night lamp was beautifully designed.   Bathroom clean complete with Borneo products and amenities (eco-friendly using recycled paper) while laundry bag and slippers provided. There is a tea and coffee with 8 sugars but only 2 creamers, would need to add more.      As it was the last day of the year 2019, we raced to the roof to see the midnight fireworks from the KL tower. We were amongst a small crowd of couples and friends wishing peace, health and prosperity for the world.    SUMMARY   Would highly recommend! CITY OASIS!
Mercure Kuala Lumpur Shaw Parade

I had a delightful stay at Mercure KL Shaw Parade. The hotel located at a strategic location, within 5 minutes walking distance to Lalaport (nevertheless, the surrounding building appear somewhat run-down, be caution when waling on the street) . The room, booked as a Deluxe Queen, surprised me that looks like a King size bed, very comfortable. The room size at 25m2, provide to be more than adequate for a single occupancy. Parking located on level 5 of Shaw parade. (RM10/entry)
Ceylonz Suites KLCC By Twin Tower View
3.3/52 Reviews
I strongly suspect that this accommodation has been rebranded to Ceylonz suites KLCC by Twin Towers view, based on other travelers photographs as our accommodation is identical interior wise. We booked a king size bed and on arrival were told we had been upgraded…it was to a family room with a small double and a single on the 17th floor. A complaint illicted a quick change to a king on the 13th floor. On first impression the room is spacious and well appointed, but small ******* add up. The cleaning is not up to scratch, previous shower gel and shampoo on shower walls, spills up against bathroom doors. Well used bedding. Only 2 double towels for 2 people for 4 days. Ants running across the kitchen if we brought anything in. TV system with no channels or streaming, you need to log in to your accounts. Inconsistent WiFi. On the plus side, there is a great roof infinity pool (floor 37) which does get busy, a restaurant, a cafe and a mini shop on site. Cafe is very basic and expensive but it fills you up. Restaurant at pool rooftop was lovely food (steak and salmon), but environment was loud and noisy, it is basically a trendy bar; we gave up and took the food to our room to eat. Location wise it’s well placed to walk to most of the key sites. Overall it was only a notch above basic, but for the money paid it was okay. 2 to 3 star at very best.

Golden Triangle
The location is great, close to 2 MRT lines, near the KL tower and between KLCC and Central Market area. A lot of cafes and restaurants in the area to choose from. Very attentive staff and administrator. What we really liked is that the bathroom has two sinks, which is very convenient, a whole work desk, a balcony and a great view with large windows. And the room is spacious overall. We stayed on the 20th floor and wifi was very poor here and that was inconvenient. The rooftop pool has an amazing view. The gym didn't work.

Good value hotel. Very clean. Strong WiFi. Pool on rooftop was nice. Bus outside. Metro a bit of a walk away but not too bad. Very easy to get to downtown KL. Could have more food options to pick stuff up for breakfast
