Booked the wrong Melia (didn’t know there are two Melia in KL, older Melia in Bukit Bintang) but I’m very pleasantly impressed by every aspect of this 4-month old (as of Aug 2023) modern lifestyle hotel. Location wise - it’s at Chetras hood, majority Chinese Malaysian populated with heartlander stores, off the track shops and locals-go-to eateries. The hotel is located next to an ultra big shopping mall (comparable in size to Hudson Yards on 34th & 12th in Manhattan, Takashimaya in Orchard Singapore). Chetras is located at the fringe of downtown KL, 10-15 mins Grab ride, 15 mins MRT ride away. The success & sustainability of any service business are attributed not only to its hardwares but also its soft factors, I.e. “softwares” & most importantly for both to work hand in hand. INNside has both, which more than compensated for not situated right in downtown KL. Besides having well designed decor, ultra clean, sleek & modern rooms & facilities, the attentiveness, friendliness & warmth of the staff (from managers like Viveen, Azwan, Nastasia to all the crew staff - housekeeping, technical, F&B, front desk) touch our heart). Just to list an example amid many, I came for morning breakfast 15-20 mins late one day and although they had cleared the breakfasts, the manager was very accommodative, in offering coffee before I head out. I was extremely touched when he & the crew later brought out & offered good selection of breads & fruits, and I was well fed & energized for my days! It’s all these soft touches (and not blindly following the rule books) that leave a great impression! Kudos to the INNside team! Keep it up!

What a excellent service by RICKY during check-in and check-out. The property was so good and every things look new to me. Property have all appliance and the unit was so huge. Facilities is good and location wise is near to main road but for those who plan to bring more than one car you might need to park in Lotus car park or shop lot near. Please do not park along side the main road as it is illegal and authority will give a compound to your car. But overall it is very good stay for our family, and definitely will repeat this unit supervise by RICKY. Thank you

First of all, we are being charged twice for a room. It start with booking.com sure that's booking.com website but to not give us refund, that's unfair for us. Why would we want to book it twice? And even after we explain our situation, they still insist on no refund policy. Fine. We did say if there's no refund, at least upgrade us to an equivalent room. They agreed. Once we arrived, they check us in at room 21. The room was small. For a boutique hotel, it felt more like a budget hotel. There's no storage for our clothes. Just three hangers. So our clothes remain in the luggage. The upgrade was with balcony. Yet the balcony can only fit 2 persons. It take like 4 steps (refer to picture). Secondly, the WiFi to our room seem to have some difficulties. When we informed the front desk, he told us to use the ground floor WiFi. It's 2 floor apart. So of course the WiFi is weak. Thank god for our sim data that we bought. Thirdly, the toilet drainage need to improve. The hole is so small, it takes 1 hour to drain the water after showering. So there's like a mini pool of water. And the water somehow go through and part of our room floor is wet. Plus point was the housekeeping team. Good job!

The hotel is pretty good, but it's a little troublesome to check out if you drive by yourself, because you have to go in and out of the parking lot all the time. If it's really inconvenient for one person.
