Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur

I had a return stay at Sunway Putra Hotel, which has truly become my go-to hotel. Its location is very convenient as it’s near my workplace, making everything much easier for me. The staff are super helpful and attentive throughout my stay. I did experience a plumbing issue where the toilet heater was hardly working, but the team handled it very efficiently. They promptly arranged a room exchange, and maintenance came in right away to resolve the issue. Housekeeping was good and consistent, and the security guards were always professional and attentive, which made me feel safe. I also really appreciated that my request for a late check-out was accommodated. Overall, another pleasant and comfortable stay. I’ll definitely be back again.

When I made a plan travelling in KL, I tried to find a hotel which can see all skyscrapers in KL. And Sunway Putra hotel fulfilled my expectation. You can see Petronas tower, KL Tower and KL118 in once in your own room! Also, there's a shopping mall right below, so if you're hungry, you can go down to the ground floor to eat. For people who want to enjoy the view from the comfort of their hotel room, this hotel is for you!

The cleanliness was unsatisfactory. The bedsheets were dirty and stained, while the blankets and pillows smelled damp, as if they hadn't dried properly. It definitely doesn't live up to its star rating

This was my second time staying at Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur. For this stay, I made a special request for birthday amenities, and the hotel kindly approved my request without any additional charge. When I entered the room, there were balloon decorations and a chocolate cake, along with a birthday greeting on a card. I truly appreciated this thoughtful gesture. The room was comfortable. Unfortunately, this time I did not get a Twin Towers view, even though I booked a Deluxe room. One of the things I really like about this hotel is its location. You can simply go downstairs to access Sunway Putra Mall, making it very easy to find food and shop for daily necessities. From the mall, you can also directly access the PWTC LRT station, which is very convenient for getting around the city. Breakfast was the only part I liked less. It was extremely crowded, food options ran out quickly, and refills took quite a while. The taste of the food was still decent, as expected. Fortunately, staff assisted guests with seating, so even when it was crowded, I was still able to get a table without too much confusion. Overall, it was a good experience. A five-star hotel at an affordable price, and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Kuala Lumpur.
