This was not the first time we stayed here as normally we would stay for a weekend break. We arrived late that night around 8pm, the reception guy checked in for us was very impolite, and we had nothing done or request. It was just his own problem and I felt so unsatisfied that moment but I didn’t even say a word to his attitude. The form we signed with personal particulars was just left on the desk of the check in counter and he did not take it back after we signed. How did the hotel control staff taking care of guests detailed while the form was just put on the desk there even until we left the counter and was still not being taking back. He didn’t greet and thank you for try entire check in process. I paid for King bed room but the guy assigned me a room next to the lift and was smaller size then I paid for. I was not happy of the room and Ithen called reception and request for a change. The lady picked the call kept asking me to wait in and off for a few times then came back telling me the front office manager will get back to me later. I was feeling so angry of their handling attitude. They just want to out me on hold until late night ? I told them I would not wait and would go down to the reception immediately, once I approached back to the guy where he did check in for me, he already noticed my purposes without asking and his attitude went back just normal. He even showed me the room map and kind of let me choose my preference. I said I just need my room not closed by the lift. He immediately changed for me, however this was very unpleasant experience of this visit. I will complaint directly to Le Meridien too, they wouldn’t grant for 5 stars with this kind of service. More, the room made up was not up to standard too, the water provided in the room was opened and half of the water remains, u beloved this was from last guest stayed in the room. This was really disgusting and I have no more confidence to stay at Le Meridien.
