hotel close to the flyover hospital.it is very convenient to go and get back to the hospital.in terms of the room it is neat and clean.it is not too small and also comfortable for you to sleep.the bathroom is not clean but the showers are very powerful

The exhaust fan of toilet seem broken or install inversely, when open the toilet switch (light and exhaust fan), the 'incredible' smelly/odor coming from exhaust fan. I had called the service twice but they just spray fragrance only, they say will call the engineer come, 1030pm wait till 12am, and they say engineer not free/ still servicing other rooms. Imagine bath/ bath tubing and can't use exhaust fan, feel dizzy in there, I booked this hotel cuz I need relax and enjoy the bath tub but sadly I can't. Btw I also saw the staff's fragrance spray remain in the room from last guest when I check in (I self put at the walkway) and make me think, it not getting fixed. The room is clean, interior is very nice but the odor make us can't enjoy it.

Stayed there during a business trip for 2 nights. Super friendly check-in, even at 12 mid night. The counter staff, specifically Mohd Ashraf, is a delight and extremely knowledgeable. I found him to be courteous, professional and accomodating, even at very late at night, and still the only person at the counter. Discovered the Superior King room had no fridge and the shower gel container was empty when I checked in. Told Housekeeping and it took a day for them to find a mini fridge but they somehow failed to refill the shower gel container. Luckily, I brought my own shower gel. There was no centralised lighting switch in the room. Everything had to be switched on and off manually. The shower area was partially cleaned with dust trails all over the edges. The same with the toilet. And the same with the room. This told me the housekeeping staff only cleaned the most covenient areas and did not do a thorough job. But it was ok. The bed and pillow was super nice and the room was quiet even though it was facing the monorail Kota Damansara station. I also remembered to close the curtains for some privacy. It was a direct line of sight to this station and the main road. Even though the monorails were running, I could barely hear any noise. The two nights were very peaceful and I woke refreshed and ready. The wireless broadband in the room was very good and I conducted several video calls and two video conference sessions in the evening and at night. The table and chair was suited to my needs. Housekeeping also did not replenish my complimentary water bottles but again, it was only a slight inconvenient as the electric kettle was really useful. I had to remove the electic kettle from its box as the steam from the boiling water really fogged the upper glass kitchentop. Parking was super convenient. Totally loved the breakfast buffet. Had my business conversations and caught up with my business partner during breakfast. Breakfast ended at 10.30am but that is plenty of time. The kuih-muih or local pastry was beyond my expectation and very very very good. The miso soup was incredible and the staff actually knew how to do perfect half boiled eggs. Not hard boiled and not raw - served nicely on a tiny bowl. The chef would actually break the eggs into the bowl separately to make sure it was acceptable, then combined it into a single bowl. Perfect. I have stayed in many hotels and I am glad it was available at Royale Chulan Damansara. The salami and cheese choices were very very good and so is the assortment of curries and roti canai. Absolutely delicious. The only item not on par was the coffee machine.

Compared with several other small hotels in the vicinity, this hotel is definitely above them all in terms of comfort - nice bed with good pillows, beautiful decor, good showers too. But the room with a large double bed does not leave much space to move about. Breakfast is very basic, provided in several sets, out of which you have to choose only one.

Request was not at all fulfilled and receptionist did not bother to even say sorry upon checking in. The worse part is a Malay Lady at front desk initial ‘A’ was so rude. She should learn how to welcome the guest! What she said was ‘ya?’ Macam aku nak tumpang rumah kau pulak beb! And she didnt bother to explain anything only to ask for deposit and asked me to sign the form. No thanks, nothing. Thankfully this is my countless stay so i know where the elevators and place for breakfast is. I dont think she qualify to be a hotelier. Room was fine, pool was superb. breakfast was just same level as your mamak eateries😆open type bathroom/ lavatory is not practical - sound and smell can be annoying!

Let’s start from positives: quite good locations and the place is modern and clean. That would be all. When it comes to hospitality and taking care of the customer: terrible! We arrived at 2am to the hotel. Outside of reception working hours. However there is a self checking machine in the lobby which I could use and smoothly check in by myself but the place failed to provide the QR code which was needed to do so. On the reception desk there is a phone number that will assist you outside of working hours. I called it several time and…. Nothing! No one picked up. So I was there with 2 children on the middle of the night with no help. I ended up booking a different place for the night. The room I booked was for 4 adults but bedding and towels were provided only for 2. When I asked for one more- they told me I need to pay. Also first thing when you come to the room there is a price list of each item in the room that you need to pay in case you will break it. Outrageous! Not recommending at all!

All went well … Except we had a neighbor in the next room (unfortunately it was a connecting room) smoking the whole night. The smell was so strong on our side of the room and it was terrible for us the whole night. We have a 7yo with us and I feel so sorry for him because he had to suffer 2nd hand smoke with us adult the whole night. We made complaint to the reception, they sent someone to look at the matter, but it wasn’t solving the problem. For a Smoke Free hotel, the hotel should take stern action against the guest who violated this rule. They did not came back to me after the complaint, and we were disappointed for needing to spend a rough night.
