Imperial Hotel Kuching

The hotel is good however only air conditioning is noisy. However I like the lounge cos it is quiet and very nice during cold weather and not expensive

Our third time staying at the Imperial. We booked a corner Deluxe room overlooking the pool so it was easy to see when the pool was not busy. On this visit we requested a higher floor so the noise from the pool did not disturb us. The room was great. Bathroom had a shower unit and a full size bath. Shampoo and body was provided, plus other essentials like shower cap etc. The breakfast is wonderful and offers a lot of choice. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to the airport which we availed of this time as it fitted well with the departure time of our flight.

It was a pleasant stay overall — the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. However, despite choosing a non-smoking room, we could already smell cigarette smoke as soon as we stepped out of the elevator, which was quite disappointing and a definite minus point. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was decent, with a good variety of food options available. We also added breakfast for an additional child. The price stated on the Trip.com booking page was RM24.50, but we were charged RM29.50 instead. You may wish to update the information on the booking platform to avoid confusion for future guests.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, the location was convenient, and the overall stay was pleasant. Would definitely come again.

There’s flu bugs around table. Called front desk and they were fast to help. But the issue still there around my stay. Overall it’s 7/10.

Clean & comfortable ; i wish they can improve their wifi service but it’s not really a big problem for me. Will come again soon

Had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering good value for money. The hotel is convenient located near the airport and connected to a shopping mall, making it easy to access food and essential. Breakfast was enjoyable with good variety of options, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. However, there was a blackout during my stay that lasted more than 30 minutes, and it appeared that there was no backup generator available. Fortunately, it occurred in the early morning when there was some natural light. It would have been more challenging if it had happened at night. This is an area the hotel need to look into. Overall, still a comfortable stay, but improvements in this aspect would enhance the experience further.
