Raia Hotel & Convention Centre Kuching

Raia Hotel & Convention Centre is big and faces the Kuching airport terminal. Pick-up is at Gate 3 of the airport arrival hall after WhatsApp the hotel. In five minutes, the hotel white van with the Raia Hotel logo came to pick me up. Upon entering the room and activating the power source, the television automatically shows Bloomberg News. I had tried to switch it off to sleep but the remote control did not function. I cannot see the airport runway from my room. It may be possible to see Air Borneo aircraft ascend to the sky at a corner in a twinkling of an eye. I slept for four hours thirty minutes and woke up after the prompt wake-up call to check-in for Air Borneo's flight to KLIA on 8 August 2026. Kindly note that the hotel is under renovation and enhancement works until 19 September 2026. It is not practical to stay in the room during and after breakfast and the room has no minibar. If one does not have a flight to catch in the morning, stay elsewhere in Kuching.

Variety of foods and all really good. Room is spacious and clean near the airport with free shuttle. Theres sejadah provided for Muslim. Highly recommended

I especially appreciated the overall atmosphere of the hotel — quiet, comfortable, and welcoming. The service was good, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. Overall, I had a great experience staying at Raia Hotel Kuching and would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Kuching.

The room is spacious, full facilities. Just in front of the airport, which is very good stay for a short business trip.

Very clean hotel. Staffs are very friendly and strategically located in front of the airport with regular shuttle provided by the hotel to airport.

At first I was shocked that the cleanliness is not well maintained. But then the reception called to inform they haven't done the cleaning properly yet as the previous customers extend their check out time so asked whether I need a room service or not. Hope they can improve further.
