"The hotel is decent being a very dated building. A very good value for money stay as it is right opposite of the waterfront. We asked for an extra bed for a fee during check in and was delivered within minutes after we got into our room. Easy access to the souvenir shops , and places to eat right around the corner. You can walk everywhere and hop on the hydrogen bus for a free ride within the city."
"The Little Village is a peaceful oasis in an already beautiful and calm village. There are many activities you can do around such as wetland tour, hike the Santuborg mountain or go to a nearby Damai beach. "
"Overall very nice resort, kids like it very much. Alot activities as the pool and the beach are nearby, easy to play around two side. The food in the hotel nice too. But there is no parking lot for the hills room take the luggage up for walking up 3 level staircase, difficult for the elderly as once they back the hotel will not willing to step out anymore."

"My recent stay at the Pullman Hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is pretty decent, though it’s clear that it has been in operation for many years. Some parts of the room showed signs of wear and tear. That said, the room was comfortable and functional, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
What truly stood out during my visit was the exceptional service from the staff. They were incredibly helpful, and went above and beyond to accommodate my requests.
It’s worth noting that the hotel is currently undergoing maintenance, so future visitors should expect some noise during the daytime (8 AM–5 PM). While this was slightly noticeable, it didn’t significantly disrupt my stay, as the work was confined to reasonable hours.
Overall, I am happy with my time at the Pullman Hotel. The combination of comfortable accommodations, outstanding service, and the promise of upcoming renovations leaves me optimistic about the hotel’s future. I have no doubt that once the renovations are complete, the Pullman will shine even brighter and continue to provide an excellent experience for its guests. I would gladly return and recommend it to others looking for a reliable and welcoming stay.
Keep up the great work, Pullman team—your dedication to improvement and guest satisfaction is truly commendable!"
"Toiletries are incomplete - no tooth brushes, only 1 set of shower gels. Face towel short of 1.
Call customer support twice before getting toiletries delivered. Still, instead of shower gels, shampoo conditional was delivered."
"The impeccable service and hospitality of your staff made our retreat most enjoyable. We were very impressed by the responsiveness of you and your staff from the planing stage till the end of our retreat. What is most commendable is that numerous request were all but acceded."

"Value for money and Easy access to the city centre and advisable to rent a car instead of using Grab or Maxim… If you are able to walk, then the hotel is a better choice for you… Near to 7E and restaurant… Recommended for backpack and friends !!"

Amazing
MMeightonineBooked the family room for 3 nights. The room is spacious and comfortable. We were on the executive floor and has access to the executive lounge for complimentary breakfast and hi tea. Location is good as it's walking distance to padungan and waterfront. lots of eateries nearby. Only a small flaw is the bathroom esp the toilet bowl can be cleaner as we found stains on the toilet bowl. Otherwise all good.

Amazing
FFauziah07Have been to Kuching couple of times but 1st time staying at this hotel, chose it due to proximity to the Waterfront.
Stayed at the King size room with a view of the DUN building and waterfront, can watch light shows every night from the room at 6th floor. Room was very spacious. Hotel is old, the mirror door was cracked.
My concern was that as the hotel is linked to a mall and the mall share the same lift with the hotel, it keeps the lifts busy and us hotel guests have to wait for the lift and some non guests were able to access the rooms level if they just stayed in the lift even though they intend to access the mall, which I witness many times. Weirdos from the mall can just come knocking at your hotel room since they can just follow you to your floor without having to tap hotel card in the lift! To me this is a security and privacy concern to the
safety of hotel guests. By right, non guest should only be able to access the lift up to the lobby or use a separate lift that doesnt give access to the pool and rooms. Or the lift to the mall for hotel guest be kept separate. Breakfast spread was good though I find ex at RM30-40 for my 6 year old. She could eat breakfast for free in european hotels. Pool water is also cold as you don't get the sun in. Hotel staff are all very helpful.

Great
HHow ClaudiusFantastic location. U can get to waterfront, old streets on foot. Loads of good food options.
Friendly staffs from the moment u got out of your ride. The front desk, house keeping, everyone greets guests with a smile always.
EEdsyLThis is a well-renovated hotel in a very convenient location, just about a 10-minute walk to the Waterfront and many great dining spots. The breakfast, priced at MYR 20.00 for adults, is a good deal and quite delicious.
On the downside, the room layout is a bit odd and doesn’t quite make sense. The windows are not soundproof, and the biggest issue is the noise — there are events happening every night until very late. If you’re not a heavy sleeper, this might not be the right place for you.
AALLANRoxy is a functional hotel that serves our purpose such as location is it not too far from the airport. Breakfast choices are limited and average in quality, service at the restaurant can be improved as the staff could be more courteous and practise better customer service.
JJoo Heng MelvynDrastic improvement of maintenance and housekeeping needed. This hotel is surely not a 4 or 5 star hotel. I checked in late at night and the rooms had no bath towels, no hand towels, no floor towels. This was rectified when I went down to the reception. However for the next 3 days, my towels were not replaced and in fact my smaller towels were taken away and never replaced. The washroom pattern is 1990s very spartan but clean. The aircon was not cool enough leading to a rather uncomfortable sleeping environment. If mine was the only room experiencing these issues, the hotel would be forgiven. But my group had total 5 rooms and all experienced the same issues. The location of the hotel is fabulous. The breakfast is good. The rooms are very good size and generally clean. The shower pressure is awesome. It is really a shame that the upkeep and software of this hotel just does not cut it. Built in 2018, the hotel looks like it was built in the 1980s. I am sad to report such bad reviews but it has been a disappointing stay especially when the price paid does not commensurate with the quality.

Very Good
Sshirleen bernedette kongThank you for the wonderful hospitality, comfy room & delicious breakfast! ” ” Thank you for a lovely, comfortable stay &excellent hospitality.
FFazlie BinTo best describe this place, it's like a mini paradise atop a cliff overlooking the beautiful sea, with a twist of staying in large cylindrical concert culverts.
You can easily spot it along the road to Damai with its large circular logo at its gate. It was closed upon my arrival at 3pm, but due to the main entrance being easily seen from the receptionist area, it didn't take long for them to open the gate, and I just drove right in.
The receptionist was very polite and welcoming, decently professional as well, after checking us in we were given a quick tour around, highlighting the facilities and public areas.
The room itself, being quite quirky in its own way, isn't too difficult to maneuver around, as long as you don't rush yourself and knock yourself around the relatively tiny room. Adequate steps are built to help climbing up and moving around, with simple storage spots around the bed, which by itself takes up about half of the room. The other side of the room is the bathing area, which I would say is surprisingly spacious enough to use. So a bed and a bathing area sums up the entire, unique cylindrical room.
The hotel itself is nicely planned, guests can pamper themselves by picking their favorite spots located around the place, and enjoy a marvelous view of the sea. There's also a small private beach all the way down the cliff too. Facilities include swimming pools, sauna room, washer + dryer machines, gymnasium, library, etc. are pretty neat if you need them.
I would say the place is great for couples, and a short refresher trip. I technically live in the city just half an hour drive away, but to catch a break from work and relax here for a day, I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat. Just make sure you've got the legs to climb up and down the place!
