I opted for Riverside Majestic Astana Wing as my quarantine stay. From the moment I was picked up to the stay itself, the service has been great. I am currently still staying in my Deluxe King room on the 15th floor (the bed is super comfortable!). By all account, select the river view room. Each even the sky turns into a magical hue of oranges, the most beautiful sunset. A stay would not be great if not for the service. I would like to call out Amos Chong who checked me in upon arrival. His customer service is personable and with lots of attention to detail. He has the ability to make you feel like as if you're a returning VIP even if its just your first stay. Kudos also goes out to Ivy from the restaurant. Each morning she greets with such delight and would address me by name. She's definitely a ray of sunshine. I cant wait to meet her once I get out of quarantine. I definitely would be back and would recommend friends to stay here. For the two excellent staff, Amos and Ivy, I hope you get recognize for the 5 star hospitality you show.

Because it is a business meeting, I don't know if the family tour can add an extra bed, but I saw a family of three coming to the meeting. I for one was extremely glad that I chose to stay in Pullman for the last 2 days of my stay. It was worth it. Got a massive room for an affordable price #thankful 🙏 Breakfast was widespread with quality food and the Christmas 🎄 tree was huge and lit up so was cool. The lobby has some art being displayed which I think is pretty. There is a band playing in the evenings in the bar, and in addition, there is also a cigar bar where you can let loose a bit. Staffs were genuinely helpful which is always a plus ➕️ point. Returned to a made-up room each time and drinking water was replenished. I must say I miss taking a bath and showering there. The pressure of the water was just perfect. (I need this at my home)! I would recommend everyone to stay in Pullman when they are in Kuching.

The hotel was in the Kuching waterfront and near to the mall and walking distance to Kucing statue..the room was big come with king bed.booked on the room with window.all the facilities was good enough for short stay but 2 think which can be improve is the tv channel.very poor receiver..also the car parking not provided by the hotel.only have public parking which very limited.sometime need to park at McD car parking and walk a little bit to reach the hotel.

Its an ok hotel for me since it is take over from holiday inn & the interior looks old but everything is well maintain in a manner. I so really hope that there is a bathrobe provided in a room. The river view room is amazing which u can see an iconic building of kuching. The breakfast is satisfying with sarawak dishes

We booked into this hotel based on travellers' good review. There is no ramp at the entrance to the hotel, a 5steps staircase to walk up to the lobby; with rain these tiled steps get slippery, a hazard to lug luggage up these steps. Hotel lobby is spacious, spotless and inviting. There is an in-house restaurant. Front-end staff are awesome, extremely helpful and courteous, excellent housekeeping service. They provided umbrellas for our use as it rained everyday. Hotel is within walking distance to the riverside promenade, restaurants across from hotel, hawkers of local food & shopping. Hallway to rooms are narrow. Our room is clean, small square footage of 2 single beds & narrow walk apace, no window & standing shower. While we were there 4nights, the third floor broken emergency fire exit door was left ajar. Nevertheless the clean room & good service would entice our return.

This is the second time we have enjoyed the good fortune to stay, enjoying a suite overlooking the amazing modern architecture of the State Government Building balanced with the late19th century Sarawak Steamship Building. The latter now housing the Sarawak Craft Council where genuine local crafts can be bought. These two buildings give a true indication of what to experience in Kuching. The nightly music, laser light and water fountain show provides a spectacle better than that of Hong Kong, from the comfort of your own room. When you stay here you know you are in a converted waterfront shophouse in Kuching, not a concrete and glass hotel that could be anywhere. Enjoying the Waterfront, Main Bazar and Carpenter street with its many views, intriguing emporiums and choice of eating places all a simple stroll from your front door. If you want to experience the flavour of living in the city of the “White Rajah’s” there is no better place to stay in true comfort. The staff are attentive, supportive and above all delightful to chat to. The breakfast is fresh and beautifully prepared including both local and western dishes. Simple local lunches, freshly prepared are a further delight whilst evening meals are available from a myriad of restaurants within an easy stroll. We look forward to an opportunity of staying again.

Stayed there recently for 4 nights. The hotel is situated in a very quiet area so finding places to eat is very limited. There is only a budget eating place available during lunch time. And in the evening unless you are mad keen on BBQ then you will have to walk at least 10 mins for food. Simple breakfast was included and I really do knot know if they offer any alternative. If I ever return to Kuching i will definitely stay somewhere closer to the River because walking under the sun is not healthy.

Location was the best, close to river banks and center. Topspot food center within 5 min walk. The room has everything you can ask for, we were surprised by the choice offered for breakfast, however every hot items on offer was plain cold, which was a shame really. Staff was really helpful and nice, rooftop swimming pool nice, but it was impossible to use it on week end days as it was full of kids and families. For those reasons we chose to rate ”average” and also because the Wifi is limited or non existent.

The room I stayed in was a smoking room at 2nd floor. It was wide, clean and cozy. The aircon worked well, the bed was soft and comfortable. There were complementary 2 medium-sized bottle of mineral water with set of coffee and tea. The bathroom was quite large and clean. Everything worked as expected. Breakfast, opened at 6am in the morning, was located on the ground floor with limited but decent selection of menu. Staffs were very helpful, check-in and check-out process was smooth and quick. I would certainly come here again!

A beautiful room but could be further improved. It obviously looks incomplete to me. What is with the blind instead of curtains? Curtains will make the room more vibrant and elegant. How about installing carpet on the floor to make the room look more pleasing. Family room especially. Not all the guests likes to walk on tiles when in a room. Hot water is provided outside the room but I don't see any glasses, drink packets of tea/coffee. So I am wondering what is it for? However, I like the idea of ironing your clothes on Level 2 and drying your hair on Level 1 outside the room. Hunting for food was easy as there were many cafes/restaurants nearby but the weakness point is its a bit far from town.
