We initially came to the Kudafushi Resort & Spa in the Maldives for a brief and quality relaxing holiday as I am engaged in the Finance Risk segment in the UK and my agenda is significantly demanding. Upon glancing at the ‘water landing platform’ from the seaplane I was immediately enchanted by the ‘sign of adventure’ amidst the exquisite location of the resort situated in a gulf of white sandy beaches intertwined with bright green flora and surrounded by crystal blue ocean lagoon ! Immediately with our arrival, I was fascinated by the resort amenities and understood that this is a truly unique resort with a clearly embedded ‘exceeding guests expectations approach’ and an enthusiastic attitude to ensure that the guest is fully supplied during their holiday- via an exceptional service and professionalism demonstrated by each department and client facing segment of the Resort ! The resort is exceptionally clean, well-managed, easily accessible and offers an exquisite combination of a variety of activities amidst white sandy beaches, green flora and an exclusive selection of beach and water villa accommodation ! Amidst the adventure of a well defined exclusivity, all client facing segments of the Resort demonstrated consistent engagement, commitment, professionalism, responsiveness, energy and diligence in executing embedded responsibilities. I am specifically impressed by the quality of service on behalf of the Reception team, F&B Management and logistics who exhibited an insightful vision of leadership, positive energy and consistency in anticipating the requirements and providing the most optimal solution based on the circumstances. Specific ‘thank you’ to the F&B Manager Pichini for the continuously demonstrated due diligence, professional commitment and creative leadership in maintaining an excellent selection of Asian, Mediterranean, Maldivian and Mexican cuisine intertwined with traditional English flavours. Pichini's profound understanding of taste anticipation of guests’ preferences has served as a magnificent foundation for a global cuisine representation marked by a leadership in a culture of excellency ! Significant ‘thank you’ to the resort onsite Reservations Team, under the coordination of Sahan K for being extremely efficient, diligent, punctual and flexible in arranging and confirming the internal bookings in the system as well as coordinating the seaplane transfers. This brilliant insight, professionalism, dedication, responsiveness, diligence and value-added positive energy have been evident in circumstances necessitating ‘effortless functionality and immediate connectivity’ with respect to unprecedented modifications of the booking terms. This August 2025 we returned to Kudahushi for the second time, this time with three generations — myself, my mother, and my child. And once again, the resort exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent: always fresh fish, seafood, and a great variety for both kids and adults. Cocktails (including non-alcoholic ones) were delicious and beautifully served. The house reef is amazing — full of colorful fish and corals, just a few meters from the beach. Snorkeling became our daily ritual. The All Inclusive package is really worth it: so many activities are included — yoga, kayaking, evening shows, and kids’ programs. It made our stay carefree and fun for everyone. A special thanks to the staff: every little nuance or request we had was solved quickly and with a smile. That made our family feel truly cared for. Kudahushi is one of those rare places where a child, a grandmother, and a mom can all enjoy themselves equally. That’s why we came back — and why we’ll come back again.

We’ve just returned from the most unforgettable stay at Kudafushi Resort & Spa and are already planning our return! A heartfelt thank you to Alessio in Customer Relations, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his warm manner set the tone for the entire holiday. The food was wonderfully fresh and plentiful, with friendly chefs at each station. There were generous daily selections of freshly grilled fish like wahoo, tuna, marlin, and reef fish, alongside scampi and crab, all cooked to perfection. For those who don’t enjoy fish, there were always chicken and beef options available. Saturday’s Maldivian Night was a real treat, a colourful, aromatic celebration of local cuisine that we thoroughly enjoyed. Drinks were vibrant and delicious too. The Dive Centre is truly 5* PADI standard, and the team there made our trip unforgettable. Huge thanks to Fasey (apologies if I’ve misspelled your name!) for always being on hand to help us find the perfect equipment, and to Camille for my first dive taster. A special thank you to Dhaal. What a legend this man is! He took my daughter and me on three incredible dives where we saw thousands of fish, moray eels, turtles, a lobster, and beautiful anemones. Knowing how nervous I was on our first dive, he came back on his day off to take us on our second. I genuinely never expected such thoughtfulness. Every time we glanced over during the dives, Dhaal was already looking at us, always one step ahead, checking in, making sure everything was okay. He made us feel so safe and at ease underwater. We could not have asked for a better guide. If you’ve never tried diving or feel a bit unsure, please go to Kudafushi and speak to the team there. They’ll make you feel like you can achieve anything. Absolute paradise.. turquiose water and coral white sand (whichvnever gets hot!) Food was great with some great spicey local curry. The client host Alessio took time for absolutely everyone, lovely guy. The reef is teaming with life, turtles, rays and sharks that are quite inquisitive but harmless. And, of course so many other tropical fish. A highlight was having baby sharks swimming around our feet in the shallow surf.. magical.

Fantastic Resort - everything about the island/resort was awesome. The resort is very clean, our over the water room was very nice, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, and everyone spoke English (in addition to other languages and their native language) - which I thought was very welcoming. The food was excellent - there were many different options and the quality was that of any high-level restaurant. We were the only Americans on the island our entire visit, but we felt very welcomed by not only the resort, but the other guests from all over Europe. I am already trying to get back there! It’s a very long trip but 100% worth it. We are divers, and Dive Kudafushi is hands-down one of the best operations we have ever dove with. Marco and his staff were very friendly, very accommodating, it made you feel like you were family. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESORT!!!

Kudafushi Resort Our Dream Place in the Indian Ocean. We enjoyed for the fourth time a wonderfull vacation on this beautiful island. A very familiar atmosphere, an absolute outstanding, gorgeous team, a marvelous island and very colorful underwater world. We really love to be there and hopefully come back soon again. We also visited other islands in the last 20 years. We really love Kudafushi and all on the islands who makes this place so magic for us. We had a wonderful stay at Kudafushi for our Honeymoon and it was the best decision to choose this destination and ressort. There was simply no dissappointment with it. Transfer via seaplane went very well and everything was organized for us. First we stayed at a beachvilla, which was a dream. Plenty of space and the walk from the terrace through the white sand into the clear water was wonderful. Later we went to a watervilla, which was also very nice. The beach was amazing and the housereef was in good condition, where we could see a lot of biodiversity. Buffet for breakfast and dinner was excellent and varied daily (e.g. for dinner there was every evening a geographic theme dinner). The stuff on the island was amazing, so friendly and accomodating. For that i would like to point out Saman, who was our guy for housekeeping in the beachvilla. Of course he did a excellent job, but furthermore he was very helpful and such a heartful character. Thank you so much, Saman! And thanks to all of the stuff at Kudafushi. They did their best and they succeeded that we felt in best hands.

It was a relaxing, enjoyable, and delicious holiday. The views and water were wonderful. The accommodations and staff were also very nice.

It was our tenth trip to the Maldives and we were a little apprehensive, afraid we'd be jaded or simply disappointed. In fact, quite the opposite - we had our best stay ever at Kudafushi. Superb weather from start to finish, a magnificent lagoon, a beautiful island and probably the best resort from every point of view. The villas are spacious and finely decorated, and the bathrooms are brilliant. The hotel staff are attentive, welcoming without being intrusive. It's also the best buffet we've had so far, with a wide variety of cuisine and a grill serving fresh fish every lunchtime and evening. A small detail that makes all the difference: your drinks are only served when you arrive at the table. But what makes all the difference is the exceptional quality of the reef, which gave us the best snorkeling ever, with an unprecedented diversity of species (leopard rays, sharks, turtles, moray eels, octopus, cuttlefish, and the grail: manta rays just a stone's throw from the boat ressort, an unforgettable experience). We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a stilt house with pool for the last two days, and to top it all off, a dolphin visited us in the late afternoon, literally at the foot of our water villa.

The island, the restaurants and the food, the staff, the beaches... everything, everything is perfect!... But our yoga training is the best. The yoga place is new and beautiful, the 3-4 day courses are simply brilliant, thank you for everything and see you next (4) time... M. Wagner

It's an absolute perfect island with lots of beautiful trees and wonderful nature.. also as you know there can be issues everywhere.. we liked the staff a lot .. special from. The restaurant.. haven't got anyone names with me but all of them were helpful.. and take a very good care of us .. make sure that I get everything I needed.. thanks to everyone from main restaurant.. Next favourite place I've got .. the bar they called it juju bar love the name.. the vee is stunning from there .. as well I've got favourites there too all of them I believe there is 3 servers.. I think I've remembered 1 name but I wouldn't mention it here .. but they all went really good very understanding.. and helpful their smile makes our day .. I don't won't miss our room cleaning guy .. he called him self Messi and mausim .. really friendly and very good service if him was outstanding.. we mostly needs towels and coffee .. we gets that before we asked. Front desk.. everyone one is friendly.. helpful.. they made easy way to reach front desk. Through WhatsApp.. very easy and helpful. What we didn't like was .. some uncomfortable things at our room in our bed .. I've asked front desk .. and they send some to check and nothing else was done.. no one asked us anything afterwards so we let that as it is nothing much we was happy.. They have guests receiver.. they called hero .. but sadly we didn't even see her .. for the entire holidays I mean we see her talks to other guests.. but we was left behind that's what I felt.. to reach out I walked to front desk and asked if I could see her .. she came and helped us .. that's the only conversation with our hero from the time till departure we stayed there for 11 nights .. What you can do on the island .. Water sports stuff .. dive on the island .. everything is so good there .. I would recommend to do the free trial dive .. that's really a good one to do .. During our 4-night stay at the Kudafushi Resort & spa, we experienced a serene and comfortable escape that made my vacation truly memorable. The Water Villa with pool we stayed in was spacious and comes with a private infinity pool and direct access to the sea. When we are not walking along the beach, or swimming in the beach, we spent most of our time at the private pool. The dining experience was exceptional. We were on the All-Inclusive package, and had all our meals in the main restaurant. They had daily themed dinners, while we enjoyed most dinner nights, some did not quite suit our appetites. Despite this, the overall quality of the food and the great service of the staff made up for it. We also enjoyed unwinding with drinks at the Juju bar, where the staff there are always friendly and polite. A special mention to Alessio, who welcomed us when we arrived to the Resort, patiently explained everything and brought us to our room. When we met him at the restaurant or at the reception, he is always asking us how were we, and always suggesting ways to make our stay even better. We had a problem with the AC being too noisy on our first night, and they managed to fix it the following day. That was an above and beyond response! The only downside was the Wi-Fi access, which could be improved, as there are some dead zones on the island where you could be disconnected, and have to manually reconnect to the Wi-Fi, which after that the speed would be slow. And sometimes even when the Wi-Fi signal is strong, you could have no internet access, which will recover after a short while. Highly recommended, and this resort will be our top choice if we return to Maldives again.
