Super Hotel Kumamoto Ekimae Natural Hot Springs

Fantastic hotel! It's super convenient, located right across from the Shirokawa Exit of JR Kumamoto Station. My non-smoking women's room was a good size, and there's a natural hot spring on the second floor. Every day from 5 PM to 9 PM, they offer a free all-you-can-drink service with various excellent options on the first floor. Breakfast is amazing, with horse meat curry, miso soup, freshly baked bread, salad, and grilled fish – all delicious. The front desk service is outstanding. Plus, Higomaru Market and AMU Plaza at JR Kumamoto Station are great for food and shopping. Highly recommend this hotel!

I was very impressed with this place. First off, the location is excellent, very close to Kumamoto Station, making travel incredibly convenient, especially for those planning to continue their journey by Shinkansen or other train lines. The standout highlight is the free natural hot spring (onsen) within the hotel, which is perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel's atmosphere is clean and well-organized, as expected from a Super Hotel. Regarding service: The staff at the front desk were very welcoming and cheerful. They even offer a 'Pillow Menu' where you can choose a pillow that suits your preferred height, showing great attention to detail. In summary, it's a hotel with excellent value for money, considering the price, location, and amenities. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Kumamoto; it's easy to get around and truly comfortable for resting.

Super satisfied! It's right opposite Kumamoto JR station, and there's a large shopping mall next door which is great for browsing. The service was really nice, and there was a young lady at the front desk who spoke fluent English, making communication very easy! The hot spring is a natural one and absolutely wonderful to soak in!

Great location, right next to the airport shuttle stop. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the restaurant service was warm and welcoming. While the breakfast selection wasn't huge, the food was delicious and fresh. The hot springs, though small, were clean. Overall, excellent value for money.

The location is excellent, right across from the station. It's also next to a shopping mall with plenty of restaurants. Breakfast is included, and while the selection isn't huge, it tastes good. The room size is decent, and there's a large public bath.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's super close to Kumamoto Station and also very near Kumamoto City Tram A. Plus, the breakfast is great, and they have a free self-service bar in the evening, along with a free onsen (hot spring). Laundry is only 200 yen, and there's even drinking water available – so many perks! The only tiny downside, maybe half a point off, is that the blankets aren't super comfortable, but everything else is perfect.

I was a bit worried about the room size, but it turned out fine. The beds were great, one large and one small, probably big enough for a family of three. It was a little inconvenient for the person sleeping on the inner bed to get up in the middle of the night. We could only open one 26-inch suitcase on the floor; the other had to go on the desk. Overall, for Japan, the room wasn't small. The hotel's hot spring on the second floor was quite relaxing. Breakfast was also good, with rice, side dishes, miso soup, bread, coffee, and sausage. The best part was the hotel's fantastic location; it's right across the street from Kumamoto Station, a five-minute walk. The service was excellent; the front desk staff always greeted us when we passed by, and they'd step out to bow whenever we entered the elevator, which almost made me feel a bit self-conscious about going downstairs.

Facilities: The restaurant area on the first floor is a real highlight. They have a happy hour in the evening with over 10 different drinks, including Japanese sake, plum wine, and whiskey, plus other beverages and water. Breakfast can get a bit crowded, and the food supply is sometimes a little tight. Cleanliness: Very clean, couldn't find a single fault with the hygiene. Environment: It's right opposite the AMU shopping mall, and just a 5-minute walk from JR Kumamoto Station. Super convenient for dining, accommodation, and transportation. Service: Excellent! When we checked in, due to the language barrier, three different front desk staff members helped us with the process.
