The Blossom Kumamoto

I recently stayed at THE BLOSSOM Kumamoto and it was easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Japan. The location is unbeatable — it’s directly connected to JR Kumamoto Station and sits above a shopping mall, which made everything incredibly convenient, from transport to dining and shopping. The hotel itself feels very modern and well-designed. The lobby and common areas are spacious and stylish, and the rooms are surprisingly roomy by Japanese standards. Everything was spotless, and the layout (especially the separate shower and toilet areas) made the stay very comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the public bath (onsen). It’s clean, relaxing, and perfect after a long day of exploring. The hotel also offers great facilities overall, and you can tell everything is still quite new and well maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout the stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the service really added to the overall experience. Overall, THE BLOSSOM Kumamoto is a perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and modern design. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kumamoto.

The Blossom Kumamoto is by far the best hotel we have stayed in Japan. Everything is excellent and exceeded our expectations. The staff are professional and friendly and are very helpful on every aspects of guests' needs. The room is super clean with a perfect set up. Everything is organized and no single space is wasted. My appreciation goes to the entire team of hotel staff for putting up such a high level of performace that other hotels couldn't matched. Needless to say, we will continue to stay here whenever we visit Kumamoto.

Location was great, next to the JR station and located above a shopping mall with many places to eat. If you're driving, it might be a little hard to navigate through the mall to get to the hotel lobby from the carpark.
